Baghdad (news) .. Called the parliamentary Finance Committee, the central bank to wait the decision of issuing Iraqi currency class (50) thousand dinars, stressing the importance of issuing coins of small denominations to support the balance of exchange in the country. said committee member Rep. Dler capable (of the Agency news): He was the first Central Bank consultation with the government and the parliament before making a decision to issue coins Iraqi category (50) thousand dinars and categories of small metal. added: that the country does not need a printed currencies large size (50) thousand dinars, but the local market in dire need of currencies with small groups, calling on the Bank Central to wait the decision because it might disrupt the Iraqi economy and the local market. pointed to: that the volume of Iraqi money in circulation in the country amounting to 33 trillion dinars, so the central bank that illustrates the process of release of proportion to the size of the money, to avoid the possibility of rising inflation in the country. The central bank announced its intention to issue currency category (50) thousand dinars and categories of small metal early next year. / End / 8.'s. m /

you know !    I think they are waiting on the black Friday sales ,  it is  the only good excuse one can muster after all the years of  blaa-blaa- blaa.  mess.... now what is the problem ?   the computing of accounts again , the raise  in  the value to the currency at the same time across the board , just as the coins would begin the  release ?

I too sit and wonder....  ....you guys even think Iraq exist ?

I am NOT a lobster but for them to say 50 thousand and equate this to coins makes me think.

If a 50k is made to equal 50 dollars. As an example... Would they then want that to be in a coin form? A fifty dollar coin?

They are definitely talking about introduction of a new currency and as they said it will reside with the new currency.

I believe they can not or should not reduce the value of the current system due to many issues but the main one is trade confidence. The second is the statement of being the strongest currency in the M.E. Which would be difficult to do if they take neutral steps or steps backward.

Interesting times ahead...

Hope they have alot items that are worth 5o dinar, cause getting all that change back in coins would sure weigh down a person, at least it would keep the terrorists from running.
