And, no, I do not, nor have I ever, worked for McDonalds. But making remarks like that is what is wrong with America. Putting someone down because they do not have a 6 figure income. ANYONE who goes out and does a job no matter how menial is an asset to society. However, one of my very best friends husband works for McDonalds. In the corporate offices and makes a very nice income that allows them a comfortable living and will provide a comfortable retirement.

So, before you put someone down because they may or may not being doing a job that you will not do or that you look down your nose at.....think about what that job may mean to them. Lots of unemployed people who will not work at McDonalds because it is beneath them but will stand in line and complain at the unemployment office that they cannot find a job. And you don't have to tell me how unemployment works, I understand just fine.

I teach my kids tolerance for everyone. Does that make me a bleeding heart liberal? Maybe, maybe not. I appreciate fiscal responsibilty, and practice it in my home, but I also believe in humanitarian efforts.

Actually, I find home health care to be a praiseworthy position

I've seriously considered starting that sort of business here...I could

provide much better care & higher wages to the folks in that field.

The businesses in my area that furnish that commodity are sorely
