  1. Good stuff. Thanks. Notice the bass player. Her name is Tal Wilkenfeld. Taught herself to play bass at 17 and within 3 years has turned into somewhat of a prodigy. So smoooooooooooth!
  2. Blah, blah, blah...... What a bunch of knuckleheads. What in-depth analysis will Sandfly have for this one. I've noticed he's finally "coming out" as of late.
  3. Oh....Just took so long for everything to load. NOW I get it Don't know...maybe these people should try pot instead. Just sayin'
  4. Here, here! Good stuff. Wonder how long before this gentleman has a fatwa issued on him? Bet it won't be long.....In the name of PEACE, of course.
  5. So.....What is M 's motive then? It's rumored that he may have been responsible for the prison breaks. Whether directly or indirectly. Now he is posturing to make it look like the leader he should have been a long time ago. I don't get it.....
  6. Good grief Sandfly. You got mortars comin' in, or what? Sediki? Granted I'm not all that long-winded, but you are one wordy son-of-a-gun!
  7. It was a Saudi co-worker who had a relative in the banking business in Jeddah who first brought us our dinar to Riyadh in '04. We still keep in touch and he is always asking ME if there is any news on the dinar. Hmmm! Things that make you go.
  8. Not to nitpick, but isn't "pennies on the dime" more expensive than "pennies on the dollar". I'm no math whiz, but it's a ratio thing. Right? Cross multiply and divide? Sorry, I'll shut up now.
  9. Thuggie, interesting post...right up until it read, "Remember when Kuwait revalued?". That's when I tuned it out. Even you know that Kuwait did not revalue. At least not in the way that is inferred here. Thing is, I think you know that. Hmmm, things that make you go.
  10. $200,000 DINARS??? Hmmm. If they mean dollars, this might be a nice token payment for the lunacy they endure because of the greed masters. Nice post Denis
  11. Agree with Keep. Linksys the only way to fly. IMO
  12. Ha-ha-ha. I love that commercial. "....Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, what day is it?"
  13. Yea, I still get the Warden Messages from the years spent in KSA... Embassy of the United States of America Riyadh, Saudi Arabia EMERGENCY MESSAGE FOR U.S. CITIZENS Closure of U.S. Embassy and Consulates August 4, 2013 The Department of State has instructed certain U.S. Embassies and Consulates to close for days not previously scheduled as holidays. Therefore, the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh and Consulates General in Dhahran and Jeddah will be closed from Monday, August 5, through Wednesday, August 14. These Embassies and Consulates will continue to provide emergency American citizen services. As previously noted, the Department has been apprised of information that, out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting our installations, indicates we should institute these precautionary steps. The current list of Temporary Post Closures and the text of the World Wide Travel Alert can be found at www.travel.state.gov. The Department, when conditions warrant, takes steps like this to balance our continued operations with security and safety considerations. However, beyond this announcement we do not discuss specific threat information, security considerations or measures, or other steps we may be taking. We recommend U.S. citizens register their travel plans with the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy through the State Department's travel registration website. We strongly recommend that U.S. citizens traveling abroad enroll in the Department of State's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). STEP enrollment gives you the latest security updates, and makes it easier for the U.S. embassy or nearest U.S. consulate to contact you in an emergency. If you don't have Internet access, enroll directly with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. For the latest security information, U.S. citizens traveling abroad should regularly monitor the Department of State's Internet website attravel.state.gov where the Worldwide Caution, Country Specific Information, Travel Warnings, and Travel Alerts can be found. Follow us on Twitter and the Bureau of Consular Affairs page on Facebook as well. Download our free Smart Traveler app, available through iTunes or Google Play, to have travel information at your fingertips. In addition to information on the internet, travelers may obtain up-to-date information on security conditions by calling 1-888-407-4747 toll-free in the United States and Canada or, from other countries, on a regular toll line at 1-202-501-4444. 14. And as our founding fathers' were debating on how much "church" to leave in the "state", it was Thomas Jefferson who said, "Religion can so blind people to their prejudices, that they are simply unable to see the hypocracy, illogic, or harm that often stems from their zeal". Go RV
