  1. It reads.... As he topped the ridge, he recoiled in horror at the sight of what lay before him. What looked like a flaggelating, pulsating green blob, with tendrals and tentacles protruding from what looked like were once armpits and eyeball sockets. Negotiating the rough terrain, he recounted his childhood and the times he visited New York City. Disco dancing they called it. Or, "getting down" on the hip side of Philly. Approaching the creature boldly, he heard it gently chanting, "Shake your booty, shake your booooty..." Enfuriated, Nugent ripped his Gibson out of it's case, and beat the *@ out of the blob. It may or may not read like this, but that's what my translator gave me.
  2. ...And of course, there WAS NO KUWAIT RV. Geez
  3. :bravo: TOO FUNNY..... THANKS :backflip:
  4. No disrespect, but there's nothing really going on with our investment. The crap you read that certain ****-stirrers conjur up is simply created out of boredom (I'm sure a small amount of mischevious behaviour thrown in for good measure). No harm, no foul. Rick
  5. True dat BN. You can go to Oanda and do a history search for that period in '91 (Nov-Feb I think it was), and see that the official rate NEVER changed outside of the normal U.S. dollar changes that took place at that time. NO RV TOOK PLACE. Yes, then there is the street value factor, and if there were folks with the foresight and cahones to be in that region at that time could have made some money. Would love to hear from any of our brave service men or women in that area at the time if they were able to recognize - and act on - this kind of opportunity. My guess....there would have been too much confusion to focus on enrichment. JMO
  6. O' wise one....Will you please advise me? Should I take the red or the blue pill?
  7. I guess that's what we can expect from the latest entry into the U.S. news reporting forum - Aljazeera. They'll hype up the headlines with "20 policemen killed", and the story is actually, 20 policemen were EITHER killed or injured". Regardless, it is a tragedy. For some reason Arab news outlets sure like to pump up the gore (and I don't mean Al ). JMO
  8. FYI - “Lucy! You got some ‘splainin’ to do!” Catchphrase associated with the TV show I Love Lucy (1951-1957) This famous line is commonly assumed to have been said to Lucille Ball by Desi Arnaz, as the character Ricky Ricardo, on the I Love Lucy show. Most people think he said it regularly, with a Cuban accent that turned explaining into ‘splainin,’ when he confronted Lucy about some wacky thing she’d done. However, as noted on many websites, including posts by I Love Lucy fans who have watched every episode, Arnaz never actually said the line in any episode of the show. (He did say a few similar lines, such as “OK, Lucy, ‘splain” and “All right, start ‘splainin.’”) At some point in the 1950s, some comedian or journalist must have used the familiar catchphrase and it caught on, becoming part of our language. Today, saying a person or entity “has some ‘splainin’ to do” is a humorous way of suggesting that they have done (or may have done) something stupid, hypocritical, illegal or otherwise embarrassing.
  9. Yea...but....I don't think the Romans had F-22's. May turn out slightly different than history has it. JMO
  10. Wonder how much significance this document of honor really has. I mean, I would think they would place much more credibility in their new constitution. If they can't have any faith in their constitution, then I suppose anything else is just fluff. Don't know, just thinking outside the box here. Ummm, Go RV?
  11. Thanks PG. Always loved me some ADM, JLP, et al. Saw JLP back in the '70's perform live with Zappa. That was incredible.
  12. What a lovely couple... And such a tragidy about the baby. Please vote! It costs nothing
  13. Ha ha ha. When I was last in Lake Charles, LA, I went to the doctor for terrible pain. Was diagnosed with gallstones. Doctor said because of the fatty diets of the locals, gallbladder problems were VERY common there. Just sayin'!
  14. HOG share price prolly went through the roof after this. Great article. Thanks!
  15. I want them to do SOMETHING..... ANYTHING at this point to renew my faith in this investment. GOOD or BAD!
  16. Hmmm. Not sure what this is saying. I will say that I think this is the first I've seen them use the term "basel-3" in print. I remember years ago Scooter (and others I'm sure) saying this was very important - and yet another stepping stone - to that elusive RV. Can somebody more astute in finance shed some light on this? Thanks and GO RVVVVVV!
  17. I had that problem once! Sorry sandman, couldn't resist....
  18. Of course db. I'm just poking fun. You have to admit that for a guy with almost 7k posts, I'd have to say 95% of them were.....THANKS! I suppose if you think about it though, that's a great way to build the count. Consistent. Steadfast. Focused. A thousand points of light Just playin' mister.... You're alright in my book. I guess if one were predisposed to shyness, you have used this forum successfully to become a better oratater ;o)
