Well, that sounds promising. I have been waiting for a debit card since Dec 2010. Said they were in the process of upgrading their system. We will see.

I am sure Warka does not control the release of the RV, however, if they are not up to speed, it makes one wonder if other banks and countries are prepared. We will see.

Thought this might be an indicator of sorts. I have been trying to complete the application process for a MasterCard through Warka Bank for over 8 months now. This is the latest reponse as of 08.06.11. "3313 to ifrd, me Dear Sir, Thank you for your email where there is no need to resubmit the application where once the upgrading and configuration has been completed we will process your fine application honoring it issuing your debit card accordingly. Once the configuration has been completed a notice will be posted on our website www.warka-bank.com well updating our esteemed clients. We appreciate your fine patience and cooperation for banking with us." I got a gut feeling that until the banks are on board on an international level no RV will be released. Not fancy intel ... just a personal opinion. MASTERCARD DEPARTMENT HEAD OFFICE WARKA BANK FOR INVESTMENT AND FINANCE

Been waiting on a debit card since Dec 2010. Getting the same story about system updates are being completed then our "fine customers" will be taken care of according. Remember to send emails during THEIR regular business hours or your email will be trashed. Good luck and keep the faith!

applied for a debit card in Dec 2010 and have still not received anything yet. I have written them x4... resubmitted my applicationx2 and received the same reply that they are updating their world banking system and will process my app when they are upgraded. However.... I applied for my mother 2 days after my initial application and she has received her debit card in Feb 2011... go figure!

I will drink to that!

You are in good company. We have had the same run around since last December. They told us last time... about 10 days ago... that they were updating their computer programing and will be completing the requests shortly. However, my mother applied after we didi and she has had her debit card for over a month. Go figure? Iraq,what a countr y!

Have been conversing with Warka the last few weeks with very little response. I did here back yesterday. They said they were upgrading the computer programs and would be back up to normal operation soon. Hope this answers some of you questions

Probably meaning that the IQD will be higher than the USD which is what this whole investment is all about. Just a thought.

I cannot believe that the obvious is not being considered here. If you understand the aspect of the "spread" it is a NO BRAINER! I would say that you will be short changing yourself if you don't do it, but then again, you can lead a horse to water. I'm in for the duration!

Well, let's see... the recent trade has been 1170 IQD ; 1 USD for over a year and they are saying it is 1111.1 now. So whats the big deal here? I see nosignificant change at all. Just another clerical glitch.
