I have transfered money several times from Warka Bank to my bank in the U.S.A. The last time I did a transfer to the U.S.A. was Nov. 21, 2011. Each time the amount transfered was about $2500 USD. No plans for taking any more out, going to let it ride. Great interest rates being paid.

Soros is not quiting, he's just going private in family. He does not want to have to comply with all the rules and regulations that go into effect in 2012.

I just logged into warka online banking. No problem. Appears to be the same as before. The main site should have a bunch of credit cards showing in the lower left-hand corner. In the lower right corner is the block for online banking, that should take you where you need to go.

I just sent an email to my rep at warka on sunday, got a reply on monday. Sent another email on tues., got a reply today. Warka Bank is not closed. Things are just different over in Iraq. Their normal day is in no way the same as what you would consider normal.
