  1. I received the same email and that was my thoughts. Plus this is the first time where I saw exchange rates of IQD to Dong. Something is happening for Ali to all of a sudden increase the buy back price.
  2. Please tell me where the government is removing "mother" and "father" from the legal system. If you have not noticed, *** marriage is only legal in some states and it is currently not recognized by the federal government. This article is pure speculation from a bad source because no where does any state government redefine a family. This is marriage between two consenting adults. If children are involved then they will respond respectfully towards the parental figure. This is pure ignorance
  3. This was sent out to a National Coorporation today... I think it is overstepping its bounds influencing its workers. You be the judge Partners, The upcoming Election on November 6th is one of the most important Elections of our time. As a company, we do not endorse one candidate over another but we do encourage all of our partners to vote. It’s important for each of our voices to be heard this Election because the decisions that are made and the policies that are set by our government impact each of us personally as individuals. These decisions and policies could also have a significant impact on Cintas – on our ability to run our business effectively and efficiently, on our ability to attract and retain customers and on our ability to provide the level of benefits, opportunities, and development we believe our partners want, need and deserve. Let me give you some more specific information on how three of the most central issues to this Election could impact Cintas as a company, which would in turn impact each of us as partners. 1) According to the Supreme Court, the new health care law amounts to the single largest tax on Americans and business in history. We have spent a lot of time over the past months trying to understand the impact that the new law will have on our company. Currently, Cintas spends $130 million providing competitive healthcare benefits for our partners. Under the new law, we estimate that our health care costs will increase by over $50 million, taking the total we would need to spend to provide the same level of coverage we are currently providing to $188 million. - While one of the original intents of the new health care law was to provide broader access to health care for all people, the law is actually set up to allow companies to eliminate their health care coverage and instead pay a penalty of $2,000 per employee. - Cintas understands the importance of competitive, comprehensive health care coverage to the health, well-being, and engagement of our partners and has no intention of dropping coverage at this time. For perspective, consider that this penalty would cost Cintas about $50 million – that’s about 30% of what Cintas’ health care costs ($188 million) would be if we continue to offer health care coverage to our partners. Now consider the potential impact that the law could have on the many smaller and/or less fiscally solvent companies that make up our communities. These businesses are our customers and they employ our friends and family. 2) The second key issue is the potential of government to increase current tax rates. Taxes are like any other cost to businesses. Ultimately, they are passed on to customers as higher prices for products and services. This would mean that we could all be paying more for the things we purchase every day such as milk, bread, gas, clothing, etc. For Cintas specifically, this would mean that our customers ultimately have less money to spend on uniforms, first aid cabinets, floor mats, fire extinguishers or document management services. This obviously leads to less money for Cintas to reinvest in our business and our partners. 3) Finally, while some government regulation is needed for all businesses, the current economic uncertainty faced by many of our customers prevents them (and Cintas) from growing in the way we would like. The over-regulation that business is facing today from the various administrative agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Security Exchange Commission (SEC), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and others is suffocating many companies. This uncertainty felt by many of our customers about their ability to run and grow their businesses prevents them from adding jobs which hurts our ability to grow and add jobs. These are just three of the many issues in the upcoming Election that have the potential to impact our nation, our company, our communities, and of course, each of us individually. Therefore, I ask all of you to make your voice heard in the upcoming Election on November 6th. Our www.CintasVotes.com website allows you to register to vote, learn more about the candidates and issues as well as show you where to vote on Election Day. Additionally, the attached Issues Guide shares the differences that exist with the two candidates for President. I encourage you to research more and understand for yourself the issues and potential impact of this Election but most of all I encourage you to vote! Thanks for all of your hard work to keep Cintas successful, Scott Farmer CEO
  4. Remember when Kuwait's money revalued back to where it was at before Iraq's invasion...there was no hoopla about it. Also remember during that time Clinton was facing the same issues as Obama and their was this drama and a government shut down for one day before miraculously we had a balanced budget. History seems to be repeating itself and it will be the working of these Super Six or whatever the news is calling them that will provide a plan that will save the government.
  5. well duh...I have a friend that works in a local bank who told me it was a scam when I asked him about it. I think those that looked into it but were turned away by the bank, trusting them can have serious after effects. I actually believe this rumor.
  6. Frank lost it at the begining of the call
  7. Instead of ongoing fighting...the Palestinian leaders went to the UN this past year to petition to form their own government and county. They have many backers in Europe and a decision will be coming down this fall sometime. This is something true that the US will have to either stay with Israel or turn their back on them. Huge stuff here happening.
  8. That was my inclination being something made up...but was not sure if there was any truth to it since it seemed weird the treasury would open cash-in sites. You got to love all the crap one must wade through to find the truth.
  9. I am starting to hear the US Treasury is opening locations where you can exchange your IQD after the RV and even pay your percentage of tax on it upfront and be placed on a "no audit" list. Where is this coming from? and if it is true where is the info to back this up? I looked through the Treasury website and found nothing. Anybody know more than me or seen the info that backs this up? And if so...where are these location?
  10. yea if you look at Euros and the lower denoms on that page...they look like Euros :-(
  11. I am not familiar with forex, does having a profile mean they are going to be tradeable? Is this new? Do currencies that are not traded on forex have a profile?
  12. This is scary but will probably happen because no one is trying to change the government and our politicians seem to be in bed with the banks as they get richer at our expense. My question is can you open a banking account say in Canada or Australia while living in the US. I know banks here have international checking accounts, but I do not trust US banks and would fear if I did have an international checking account at Wells Fargo and this did happen, WF would prevent me from accessing my money. Anyone have any feedback on this or can point me in the right direction?
  13. worth the read...basically a lot is happening over there and all the work that has been done to help ensure the success of the people and the government is set up... Too much is at stake I am hope parliament knows that and does not delay. It looks like much will happen tomorrow.
  14. they said contractors need to have iraq banking accounts by the 19th to conduct business...we shall see

    forex

last week there was discussion on this where a forex trader said it is seen when the value is about to change. We saw this last week but nothing happened so maybe this will be the week.
  16. I remember this post extremely well and how everyone just dismissed him and were quite rude. I think people do bring in their insight and want this investment to come now and when someone who IS connected gets dismissed because it does not fall in lines with whomever they are listening to that day. I remember when this sight was a lot more friendly and hope when this investment does come through people are thankful and willing to help others less fortunate.
  17. I find it interesting that both the Vietnam central bank and the Iraq central bank websites are down. I wonder how many other central bank websites are down? This is too much of a coincidence.
  18. Parliament Vote Puts Iraq Closer to a New Government BAGHDAD — Iraq moved one step closer to finally forming a government on Saturday as lawmakers overturned a contentious decision barring three prominent Sunni Arabs from national politics. The vote in Parliament helped to resolve a furor that erupted nearly a year ago, after an Iraqi panel sought to disqualify hundreds of Sunni candidates from elections because of their alleged ties to Saddam Hussein’s Baath Party. The disqualifications set off angry demonstrations and accusations that threatened to further marginalize Iraq’s Sunni minority and undermine efforts to form a government that folded in all of Iraq’s ethnic and sectarian factions. Lifting the ban will allow the three Sunni politicians to hold office, and should help to cement the participation of a large Sunni-backed political alliance in Iraq’s fragile unity government. It also clears the way for Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki to name his cabinet, potentially ending nine months of feuding and political drift that has followed inconclusive national elections in March. Mr. Maliki’s allies said he could announce a new government as early as Monday, five days before he is required to do so under a constitutionally mandated deadline. But on Saturday evening, lawmakers still appeared to be jockeying for control over important ministries that control Iraq’s security forces, oil and public services, as well as other high-ranking positions. It was unclear whether they could iron out their disputes over the next 24 hours. Members of the multisectarian coalition Iraqiya celebrated Saturday’s vote, shaking hands and grinning broadly in the halls of Parliament. It was a sharply different mood from a month ago, when many of the group’s members walked out of a raucous parliamentary session to protest inaction on several of their demands, including the reversal of the disqualifications. Iraqiya, led by former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, narrowly won the most votes in the elections, but was outmaneuvered in the long impasse that followed. Mr. Maliki won another term as prime minister, and the Kurdish politician Jalal Talabani was re-elected as president. Mr. Allawi signaled this week that he would end his threats to bolt from the government and accept a position as head of a newly created council on national and strategic issues. On Saturday, members of Mr. Allawi’s bloc said that they were pushing for one of their formerly disqualified leaders, Saleh al-Mutlaq, to become one of Iraq’s two vice presidents. Winning the post would be an impressive turnaround for Mr. Mutlaq, a former agronomist whose fortunes have risen and tumbled several times since the United States invaded in 2003. “What happened today is a point toward launching more reconciliation,” said Haydar al-Mullah, a spokesman for the group. But what pleased one faction certainly angered another. Politicians from a heavily Shiite political alliance boycotted the session, leaving a bare majority of Parliament’s 325 members there to form a quorum. Those attending joked that they had to take quick action on reinstating their candidates, or else members of opposing parties would show up and derail the vote. 19. Ok...for those that have been on here awhile remember when a certain someone mentioned that "life on Mars" is the codename for the RV. I always find it interesting that when supposedly the IQD is supposed to RV or highly speculated to RV we see the topic life in space pop up. I remember several times this year seeing articles about life on mars. Will this be the final time NASA or anyone else will announce life in space? This afternoon NASA is having a press conference about biological materials found in space proving life exists outside of earth. My guess is it is from Mars. http://www.necn.com/12/02/10/NASA-announcement-spurs-alien-life-specu/landing.html?blockID=364767&feedID=4213
  20. Phoenix...I hope your right...I will give you this that I do enjoy reading what you write and you are memorable. Go RV!!!
  21. I saw this in my local newspaper in Spokane, Washington and found this humorous and intriguing. They ran the article "Life on Mars considered more likely". Earlier this year or maybe last year Phoenix I think for told how there will be code words in the news like "Life on Mars" to announce the coming of the RV. With all that is going on, it would be a hoot if Phoenix was right and this article originally published by the Washington Post is a covert signal for the coming of the RV. http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2010/sep/04/life-on-mars-considered-more-likely/
  22. New Iraqi Government??? has the government been set and we do not know about it or is he talking about the future set government???
  23. Yea, he talks about how every group needs to be involved in formation of the government and in electing officials if their government is even going to work. Talks about nothing happening during Ramadan and then it taking possibly longer after that. Very vague. He did talk about the Iraqi people wanting the US out by 2011 as per the security agreement. To me it seemed like he talked in circles and there were no real points, just agenda issues and how they are not there yet on meeting those agenda items. He did stress the main thing was getting electricity to the people.
