I want to be hopefully optimistic...but this is Iraq...anything could be going on....like new value!! Or simply nothing

Not related to this article...but my 3rd grade daughter just had a converstation with me about rules. Seems her teacher tells the kids in the class it is prefectly okay for them to have candy and gum...school handbook prohibits these items...as long as they do not throw the wrappers in the garbage so the custodian doesn't see candy wrappers there every day. She was concerned enough because we teach that rules are rules and need to be followed....not matter how insignificant they may be. I am going to have a talk with said teacher...if she disagrees with the rules then she should talk to the school principal and/or the school board....

They know who has a plan and the action to back up the plan. Baghdad reminds me of some welfare recipients....they want to be in charge of themselves but then expect everyone to give them things and then get mad when someone has something they don't. Kurdistan reminds me of small business....they go out and create. JMO

Iraq standard of living improves
FlintNPebbles replied to vomer's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
Nice to read positive things coming out of Iraq. Thank you. -
I like how they state how many barrels of oil will be exported but cannot get Baghdad to agree to anything. I think Baghdad is all bluster and they have an agreement in place but they cannot make is seem like the Kurds were anyway instrumental in getting it implemented. They are going to have to "threaten" the Kurds and then when they feel like it, they will implement the HCL. See how Baghdad is saying "the Kurds don't have any agreement to export oil" and then the Kurds say they had an agreement on the first shipment? I imagine that was for testing the pipeline... Oh I hope they get it to together soon.

Like the new you Rayzur. Although I did like the Karate Kid pic too. Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/169407-we-called-for-help-and-they-killed-my-son-north-carolina-man-says/#ixzz2prRszdrv Ditto Sad story. I worked with police and sheriff deputies for years. There are some that are all pumped up on their power and I wouldn't want them to restrain my dog, much less a human being. But the majority of the police force I worked with was very very straight forward and was in the business because they did want to help. Of course, when you call , it's hard to tell which ones are coming to help.

PORTION OF NEW YORK MAY GET 80 INCHES OF SNOW
FlintNPebbles replied to UNEEK's topic in Off Topic posts
Holy cow...that is way to much snow...even for someone who loves snow as much as I do Best of luck to all who live in that area. Hopefully they are prepared. -
I don't have a problem with women in the military or any other male dominated job...however, I would expect that they can do the minimum requirements. My husband is a FF and he has a woman on his shift that is now 250 pounds and is 5'3". Do I want her "rescueing" me? Don't think she can. When she joined the department 10 years ago, they lowered the requirements until she could pass them. Now she can't even drag a hose that is empty. But there are no yearly tests that you have to pass. I think the same thing with women in military...there are some positions that require a lot more physical strength. If you can't do it, then you need to find another job. There are plenty within the military that women can do. If women requirements are less....do you want the ones who can barely pass in the field with you? Will you have to slow yourself down so she can keep up? What is that about only being as strong as your weakest?

Obama Care Nightmare Now Getting Personal
FlintNPebbles replied to Sentinel7's topic in Politics, 2nd Amendment (Gun Control)
One of my friends who is self employed just went through a huge issue with her insurance. She was dropped from the plan she has had for years due to it not fitting the Affordable Care Act. Then when she wanted to change policies within the same insurance company, they told her she had to apply for Medicaid. Even if she wanted to make the premium payments like she always has....she was told she needed to get Medicaid. WTH So she went through the process of applying for Medicaid. It is only herself needing insurance, her kids are covered with her ex's insurance. She was denied for Medicaid because she makes to much...and she was so grateful because she wants to pay her own insurance where she knows she can find a doctor who will take her. So she then had to call her insurance company back ( her agent couldn't handle it since the company dropped her in the first place) and after being on hold for 6 hours she finally got someone who looked at her information and told her "I will get back to you".....I haven't talked to her to see if she met the "deadline". -
My God is a loving God. He is generous to those who follow Him. He is not a hateful God. That is just what people say who want to do things their way and not follow God in His directions. The people who say God is hateful, they want to tear Him down so they feel better about the things they do and the words they say. God gave us free will, He wants us to find Him and His mercy but He does not force us to have a relationship with Him. The choice is yours but when someone such as Phil Robertson stands up for his God and the word of God, he should not be ashamed of what he says and the words he speaks which are the words of God. He should not be persecuted by the ones who do not have a relationship with God, but that is the way of a believer. If you choose not to follow God or to believe in the word of God, that is the choice that God gave you. But to not stand beside Him offends Him and therefore He will not stand beside you when your time comes. I have friends who belong to the LGBT lifestyle. I love them all, but I also believe that what they do is against what God has written. One of these friends is a pastor of a church. The church has interpreted the Bible in a different way to say the lifestyle is okay with God. Do I know what the true message is? I can only go by what I have read and been taught. I know what God has put into my heart as to the rights and wrongs of this world and will continue to pray for guidance each and every day to give glory to God and His word. And when I meet Him one day, I hope that I have lived my life in such a manner that He will open the gates to Heaven and say "please come in, you have pleased me".

Don't know why you keep getting neg's Keep but I added a couple of pluses for you. Tough crowd when all you are doing is talking about your move! I don't always agree with you and I certainly don't want to hear about a Lop but I appreciate what you bring to the table. Seems awfully childish to neg someone just because ..... well unless they are truly upset about your move

As much as I love winter.....you do have to know when to stay put Sheridan, WY....that is one of my all time favorite places. I did a poker ride there ( we were all on horseback ) That was fun!! LGD, glad you were wise enough to stop about 40 miles...those roads from Tioga to Williston can be fun in the winter Be safe everyone. Even those of you in sunny Florida!

DISAVOWED,
FlintNPebbles replied to MyLadiesDaddy's topic in Opinions, Perspectives, and Your Two Cents on the Iraqi Dinar
How about the temperature without windchill....stinging cold at -40 with no wind Sorry to hear that you have been sick LGD....pneumonia is nothing to take lightly. I believe that God will lead you where you need to go. Take care of yourself so you can take care of those that depend on you. There is truth in the saying of when God closes a door He opens a window. I have experienced that myself many times.
