[You know what EE this is beautiful !! My closest reference to this topic is thru a close friend of mine I've known for 30+ years. He had his own NDE about a year to year and half before we knew each other. He was on the operating table after a drug overdose and they lost him. He watched them try to revive him. It has been a while since I've heard his story but he was given a clear message he wouldn't have another chance after this one. He was being sent back as they managed to revive him. He entered rehab after and had God touch his life after he developed a hunger and thirst to draw closer to God. That point is my reason for posting now and my prayer for each one pondering what this all means. Just ask God ( or if your not sure hes even real you can say if you are real) create in me a hunger and thirst to draw closer to you. You may not still be confidently able to say its G O D but evidence of a new craving for peace, understanding and all the things that a foundation in a Christians life will be your proof....God is real!! Keeping that desire as priority in your life assures He'll guide you where to worship/serve and continue to grow!! EE thanks for sharing and look forward to a blessing from the books/material that are being shared about here.

This site has been thoroughly enjoyable for me as an independant news resource. I learned many years ago If you want truthful news on current world afairs follow the money. By being selective on thread choices I have learned more about the world I live in, historically and current than by going to school OR personal research. I appreciate Adam M for having this site and the many genuine news link contributors for the positve impact it has been for me. I have hopeful anticipation for the post RV-VIP version of this site to continue having the same quality current event contrbution. I have considered this on a personal level and concluded, I want to be as greedy as I possibly can -- just not selfish! This is true in all the good, healthy and beneficial things I can recieve then turn around and give to others. Awesome thoughts also on the bigger scale.

The book "The Millionaire Next Door" has some cool ideas some of which have been mentioned here. Having peace of mind with a modest appearance is really a good combination ... if your planning on hanging around!

Do your due diligence on VIP as you would any investment; then do due diligence on pulling together your own scenario then come to your own conclusion. For the average person like Many in VIP its a no brainer! Some may be fortunate to be fully resourced and not need VIP giving them an actual honest decision to make. If it be the case that questions of validity of VIP are raised without honest genuine due diligence of options, could result in selling yourself short. I appreciate the VIP opportinity!

I was given info in 2005 from an accountant doing work thru his firm for ( a household name international investor ) that the new Iraqi currency would revalue to its preinvasion value and this investor had made an extremely sizeable (relative to us) purchase into this investment. I was unemployed and managed a purchase of -1- 25K note. I then added a modest amount a few months later. I then sat still till the spring of this year when some of those people I knew from '05 began a little more excited chatter about this. I began some due diligence on my own, perused a few different sites, read some blogs, checked Youtube (PNN Peoples Network News), and came to the conclusion an RV will take place without question. The international interests/stakes in Iraqs ecnomic future are so embedded in this event that for it not to happen, ever, just follows no reasonable thought. Their natural resources exponentially excede the current value of their currency and will continue to do so even at a 1:1 reval and beyond. We will, imo, be accidental benefactors of this event having not been included in the original plan/scheme, however I'm thankful nonetheless! Hope this is what you had in mind.

Tiffany23 There is another book I'ld like mention by Gerald L. Schroeder. The title is "The Science of God" He is a phd both in Quantum Physics and theology. I saw earlier in the thread what your beliefs are and your ability for being open minded. He's Jewish; I'm Christian and I think the science aspect of his book is what you"ll find v e r y intriqing. He gives an amazing explanation on the timeline differences of the earth being billions of years old as opposed to roughly 10,000 given in discussions of creation. One of my lifes dreams / goals are to meet authors of books that have impacted my life and he is on my list. Google him or his book and/or get a synopsis from Amazon.com Thank you and ALL the posters for this discussion
