  1. Shabs, notice how when all else fails, the religious threats always enter the picture? The most powerful mind control in the history of humanity is...religion. Fact. An example below from the movie "Apocalypto" during the eclipse scene...and how they used this to claim it was their god...right before they were about to murder a young man in the name of that god. This is how the game works... Pure mind control...still to this day using fear and threats. Why? Because it works. Don't play the game...
  2. I always thought it strange that no one said a word when President Trump banned bump stocks...just an observation.
  3. Hey CL! Oh you're welcome. I always thought it was important to learn how things came to be, and so often the origins of certain religious beliefs came from planetary adoration, that then morphed into persona's being given to certain planets, etc. Anyway, I find it to be an interesting discussion for those with an open mind, because in truth, we know so very little, about so many things, and it is always easier to just follow certain narratives than to learn of their origins and how they change over time. Some things never change, they are just repackaged and resold to us all in some form or another. Hope you are doing well CL!
  4. Hi Shabs! I can only speak for myself, but I spent many years researching into many things that no longer made sense. How can we learn if we fail to question? I learned to question everything, because I had been very misled as a young man in the church, and I witnessed things that should never be inside any church, manipulation, threats, fear tactics, and I knew there was something wrong. Of course, because I questioned those "leaders", I was viewed as a heretic, and I proudly wore that badge once I understood how the game was played. Sadly, I see the very same things I saw 35 years ago being used in the same manner today, and most just get angry if you present why so many believe certain things, when it can be found to be so opposite to the love and justice of god, but they have to have their tools used to dismiss and negate anyone who may not agree with them. Most folks really do not want to learn...they only have an open mind if what they are reading or hearing agrees with their traditions and own beliefs. It is not possible to learn in that manner. Too many follow someone else's narrative on life and spiritual matters...often ending up more confused. There is nothing that comes close to agape love and true justice that ends in correction...but some enjoy blurring the lines and creating a narrative that has little to do with love and decency...they must push aside anyone that disagrees with them, and that ends up divisive. We have heard it said, "the only way evil can triumph is for good men to do nothing". Truth is, those with bad intentions are more united than those "good men" that do nothing...so many who believe they have "all the answers" are more divided than those that have evil intentions. It is just the way it is...and just look at how most religious based threads end...people arguing and divided and too many that insist on being "right". Is it any wonder we have such a screwed up world, so divided by so many things? People quote the bible, usually out of context just to try and convince others, not having a clue they are using something that is to give life as a hammer that destroys, they use the "letter of the law" and that always ends up in death. Happens all the time. As far as the financial motive behind so much religious division and organized religion, you get much more from the flock when you keep them in a state of fear. It has been that way for centuries...people being fleeced via fear and that is unfortunate. Thanks Shabs for the discussion, sorry it is off topic, but I wanted to share some facts that are too often ignored. All the best!
  5. Hey Shabs, hope you are doing well! It is amusing...the term is the new mantra or trigger word being used, and most folks have no clue what it is they are referring to...other than the religious superstition of that name being an evil persona to accuse others. The following is not meant to demean anyone, it is meant to educate how things became transformed into what is believed today. It is also not meant to be turned into yet another religious conflict. We are free to believe what we want, but we should understand how some of it came to be from its origins. Food for thought...probably offensive to someone, but not intended. Take them at face value, but they none the less are factual, not superstitious. Twisted men created a being to use against their perceived enemies, the same men who created the angry wrathful god narratives that would toss people into a state of unending torment...if they did not submit to what is little more than religious tyranny, not genuine agape love, that never fails. But the pure message of love was not successful at gaining converts, so other methods were created to frighten the common folks. People are generally obsessed with all things "hell" which is also from mythological sources, but again, it is a tool. In all ancient languages, Aramiac, Chaldean, Hebrew, Greek, etc., "hell" always referred to the grave...because no one knew what happened after we were dead...so they began to call it a place rather than just what it was...the grave. With that they needed a persona, a bad guy to fear, but the fact is "hell" was "sheol" in hebrew, "hades" in greek...all referring to the grave. Satan (adversary) and also "lucifer" became those persona's who ruled in the so called underworld...that underworld was the grave. The fact is, the term "lucifer" is the latin word referring to the planet Venus. Few admit to that because then it would reduce their arsenal of threats and fear used against others. Lucifer is Planet Venus “Helel”, “Phosphorous” and “Lucifer” all refer to the Morning Star – to the planet Venus. Since the earliest times, constellations were very important to ancient religions. Planets and stars were personified as deities. This 2nd planet from the sun, what we know today as Venus, is one of the brightest objects in the sky next to the sun and moon, and just like them, it could be seen with the naked eye. The ancient Sumerians called it Goddess Innana. The Acadians called it Ishtar. In Hindu astronomy, it’s Saint-Shukra. This bright planet does have a peculiarity; it’s generally seen only twice; once at sunrise and once at sunset, basically when the sun is on the horizon. And because ancient cultures didn’t understand modern astronomy, they saw the appearance of Venus in the morning and at night as two different objects. Then Ancient Egyptian knew the morning star as Tioumoutiri and the evening star as Ouiaiti. For the Greeks; the morning star was Phosphoros or Heosphoros, and the evening one was Hesperus. Although the Roman era recognized those stars to be one single planet, they continued to use two names, Lucifer for the morning star, and they kept Hesperus for the evening star. How Lucifer turned Evil But why do we know Lucifer as the devil when it’s planet Venus at dawn? Well, like many many other things in our world, it all has to do with misinterpretation. First, we need to know that the word Lucifer only appears ONCE in the bible. In Isaiah 14:12 Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer son of the morning! How art thou cast down to the ground, Which thou who didst weaken the nations! This means that the Hebrew word HELEL was also found only once in the original Hebrew text. The “Helel Ben-Shachar” (הילל בן־שׁחר ) part, which means “morning star, son of dawn” is the honorific title given to the King of Babylon. At the time, kings were powerful people who had the same ranks as the stars, and this passage was a prophecy against the king of Babylon, who was said to be a tyrannous oppressor of Israel. Remember, the old testament of the bible, where this passage belongs, was originally written by Jewish authors for the Jewish people, around 600 BCE. In a nutshell, this passage in “Isaiah” is about the arrogance and fall of the King of Babylon at the time. So, Lucifer was never an evil being as we were made to imagine. Lucifer is a noun which means morning star in reference to the planet Venus, and in this very case, the morning star is a metaphor for a Babylonian king.
  6. Some will likely bash you Shabs for even posting this article, but I for one will tell you that the wreckage left behind from this cult is very real. Just my thoughts from some experience I have had talking with some folks... I know a lot of what is stated in this story to be true, based upon my experience with those that believed every word, because it mirrored their own beliefs and political ideologies, and their world views, in addition to the patriotism and love of country that was taken advantage of throughout the last 4 years by those who lied to them. Those behind the movement knew exactly how to manipulate so many people, using of course, fear, which always works. 4 years of being lied to with cryptic messages and having their emotions toyed with was tragic...and to even question it resulted in outbursts of anger, and this anger was often towards their own families and kids, etc. Mix this toxic soup with religion, and you have a recipe for disaster. Good news is many have walked away from it all, learning from the experience never to invest themselves so deeply as many did with this movement. They realize it was all political gamesmanship, and nothing works better than using fear in order to gain followers. On the other hand, there are some who refuse to walk away, and who insist it was all "true". Some of them have tossed their families aside preaching the "end" and telling others to "trust the plan"...some of those others now know there was no plan, but the remnant are still selling the message to the detriment of those dear to them. Many have said the same thing...they feel "betrayed" by so many voices that were out there the last 4 years that fed into and encouraged groups like "Q", etc. Terrible false claims made against some people, accusing them of some sadistic and sordid activities that when repeated enough times, became accepted as "truth". When it was questioned, again, the responses were outbursts of anger and more accusations, but evidence was always lacking. Anyone can be fooled into believing something that is "plausible", and I find it interesting that in too many cases, no evidence is necessary, just belief that those they view as "opposition" are evil and they are to be blamed for all the worlds problems. These voices even got many to believe VP Pence was a "traitor" and according to a few claimed he should be "hanged". Seriously sick stuff. Rarely do those who stand up and question exit without scars...but we all hopefully learn from our experiences in life, and move on to be a better person because of them. Thanks Shabs, hope you are doing well.
  7. Hi cranman Just some of my thoughts, speaking for myself with my own experience. Just know that you are not alone in your thinking. I have a lot of experience in religious matters, watched for years how the system operates, and the manipulation within it. When I was active in the church, it was labeled as "full gospel" which I always thought was funny, mainly because I thought as opposed to what? Half gospel? Anyway, after about 2 years within, as a young man easily influenced at the time, I began to question what was being taught...too many things no longer made sense. Strange thing is, I ended up being viewed as a heretic because I dared to question their narrative. They had nothing of substance to answer my questions, other than guilt, threats, the usual responses I still get today when questioning what some claim is "truth", yet are unable to provide one shred of evidence for their claims. So, the last resort is always making threats...using the letter of the law, to try and discredit you and to inform you that their god who they claim "loves you", will torment you and punish you in endless fashion because you did not submit. And some think this is "justice", when it is actually vexatious and unjust, punishment is for corrective purposes, never a 'state of being'. Does that sound like love to you? Would anyone treat their children like that? Of course not, but when it comes to religion, the angry wrathful god narrative has had great results in manipulating people, scaring them into submission. It started when societies became too large to manage so in order to gain more control, certain religious claims were created and the angry wrathful gods entered the picture. I could tell you stories of how some that I knew ended up in institutions because they fell over the edge, struggling to make sense of what their heads were filled with, they lived in constant fear and guilt, and it finally took its toll. Tragic, because it is so needless but it is how some people interpret what they are taught, and some teachings when mixed with certain personalities can be destructive. On the other hand, I have met christians that do not play the mind games, they love their god, they never condemn anyone, nor judge their neighbors, they treat others kindly and do not threaten them using their bibles if someone disagrees with their beliefs. And sadly, many of those people a re labeled as being "luke warm" and they will end up "burning". Sounds mice right? But I found those so called luke warm people to be balanced, and good decent even gracious people, but that is a minority. Some simply cannot entertain anything or any thought outside of their comfort zones whether it is politics or religion. Both take belief, both are extremely divisive and both encourage what is called 'cognitive dissonance', an inability to listen to anything that challenges their beliefs. I was in that frame of mind for many years, until I learned and began to understand how the system operates. I could not entertain any thought that challenged my beliefs. Daring to question is a good thing, always, I encourage everyone to question everything. But some things people are afraid to question, they live in constant fear and over the long term, begin to do things to appease the god of their beliefs. For me, that was a life I could no longer live as it actually sucked the life out of me over time, counter productive to what "love" is. That leads to, in some cases, delusion and mental break down, as it usually ends up in a cycle they are unable to break. Most cultures have their religious traditions, some follow them, others do not, for various reasons, and if a person is born into a certain culture, it is normal for them to accept those traditions and rarely do they question them. Religious competition is very real and the lengths some go to push it can be destructive. Keep being a decent person, that IS the real message, loving your neighbor as yourself which apparently no one has ever been able to commit to that, the simplicity of something that requires humility and common decency, and has nothing to do with what or who your neighbor believes in, you treat them as you desire to be treated. Anything added to that is "noise" and there is a lot of noise out there. Usually the message ends up being in reality, "just believe like me and we can get along". Never fall for that. I hope your thread does not end up being just a bunch of quotes and threats, but based upon other times when someone wanted discussion of these matters, it always ends up divisive. Best not to argue about something that cannot be proven. Thanks for your input and thoughts. Sad to think the 100's of millions of people murdered because of religion, forced conversions, being treated like savages, such as when the pilgrims first came to this country, how they treated the native Americans, which most never talk about. They viewed them as 'savages' and decided they must convert them...or kill them. you know, that religion of "peace" thing. I think within much of religion is the usual power struggle, and twisted men who use it to achieve an agenda and gain control over others. Been this way for 10's of thousands of years, with little changing along the way. What remains at the end is how we view and treat others. Many believe they need religion in order to be a decent person but if that is the case, what they are actually doing is trying to appease their gods, and they have a much deeper problem than just needing a religion to hide behind. Love is a real force, it is not tied to any religion, because if you need to make threats in order to get people to follow something, it becomes quite clear it was created by men in order to control your mind. We are told that "god is love"...that begs the question what are some people following? I have had some people tell me that "love does not work, we must fight". Apparently they were lied to or feel frustrated, so the last resort is to fight. That answers the question rather sufficiently. Some of these are the same people that condemn other faiths that kill others in the names of their gods, they justify their actions for which there is no justification. I never try and demean others faith, but I will ask questions and how they react tells a story to me. I have experienced the struggle I often see in them, and the best I can do is encourage them to question those things that insult their own hearts and reject them. It has been said, if someone can get you to believe absurdities, they can also get you to commit atrocities. Sadly, history tells us the same story...and also the fact that believing in a cruel god also creates a cruel man. Thomas Paine and others have much wisdom that they learned about these things... Have a good weekend!
  8. How? By telling people what they want to hear. And when they are proven as charlatans, many just run to a new source of claims under the guise of "prophecy". This is a big part of the problem the last 4 years, so many such as "Q" that have lied to people time and again, and yet people seem to be ok with being lied to. Mention any of this, most just get angry. Recall the Pat Robertson "prophecy" where he claimed the president would be re-elected and we would prosper for 5 years, then his god would send an asteroid to earth and kill us all. Can you imagine why anyone would get all excited about this mental manipulation? This has gone on for thousands of years to this day, yet there is always a crowd of self proclaimed "prophets" who make their various proclamations to an audience that rarely question any of it. This feeds peoples anger over time, I've seen it many times over the years. Seriously, though Pat was proven to be what he has always been, so many grabbed onto it almost with glee. Strange behavior in my opinion. Now Pat turned against Trump, but funny thing is, he never addressed his lie, they rarely do, they just move on to something else people seem to want to hear. Ultimately, these type of claims end up sucking the life out of people, which is the intent, and to keep many living in fear.
  9. Thank you Scott for taking the time to also write such a thoughtful post. Being honest with ourselves rather than living in fear and desperation is always wise. All we see, read and hear today are those who will tell us what we want to hear, and often outright lie to us in order to manipulate our emotions. I know you understand that, and allowing our emotions to direct our behavior is a bad path, I know from experience. This year has been difficult for all of us I think...so much misdirection and distraction, people seeking and searching for some peace in the midst of so much noise, but they often seek out what they want to hear rather than paying attention to what is challenging their beliefs, etc. If we do not start being honest with ourselves and paying attention to how the game is played, we will fall for whatever the next great prediction is...we cannot live life allowing others to think for us, nor can we or should we trust any of the talking heads that so many people "believe" speak truth when much of it spoken is without a shred of evidence. You are wise to question everything! Never regret that my friend. It is how we learn, and how we learn to filter out the noise so many spread for the sake of attention, and they will lie in order to achieve that. Over the years, I have watched the propaganda machine grow within politics and religion, to the point where confusion is the only result. We best learn to THINK before we accept anything as being "truth". Oh I could tell you some stories of how as a young man I was so manipulated by so many voices, and allowed those voices to turn me into something I never was. When I realized the game, I walked away from it all, with all the threats that come from those that only cared about whether or not you agreed with their insanity. Fine with me, I began to live again, and their fear and doom attitudes were seen for what they were. I was condemned by the very people that said they "loved me". Nasty human beings if you dared question them...and I dared to and figured out the game played with my mind. I even had one woman tell me "god will kill you!"...seriously...what crazed being do some of them follow and they believe their self righteousness justifies their hatred. One day at a time Scott...don't overthink...just one day and one step at a time...and keep your mind from wandering into those claims that feed anger and anxiety. I know so many people so confused because of all the voices telling them to feel that way. Remind your wife and girls you love them daily, tell them often, friends also, because life is far too short to allow others to distract us away from what is important. All the best to you and your family!
  10. Well, I'm not a "liberal" or any other political label, but you can accuse me of whatever you like, but I am going to reply to you and I am NOT attacking you...I want you to take the time to read every word...before you react. After all the accusations you made towards anyone who did not agree with your politics or your religion, accusing them time and again of being "filled with hate"...yet here you are...showing what real hatred looks like. Perhaps you should spend more time on your "Acts of Love" thread that is much more constructive than to allow politics to transform you into the kind of person we already have enough of. If you desire to be angry, then be angry at all the people, self proclaimed prophets and others that lied to you, and told you what you wanted to hear, invoking god into politics and manipulating peoples emotions, making some believe they were somehow "special". You want "civil war"...good, start with yourself, in the mirror before you target other people to vent upon. Our tired world knows enough angry hateful humans, overly influenced via politics and their religion, don't be one of them. You're better than that Scott. No matter who wins this election, political circus will continue, and too many will continue to allow it to control them and how they treat others. You said yourself in a thread...we were all fooled with Trump and that he was not a "law and order" president as he claimed...and that we should stop the bickering and stop fighting each other. Do YOU listen or pay attention to your own words??? Several turned on you in that thread...I'm surprised someone didn't accuse you of becoming an "evil demonic leftist liberal commie lover" as you so often love to throw around at others. Deal with your own hatred and desire for constant conflict...it has to begin with you. Take a deep breath, and realize, we will survive, but we cannot allow politics and other mind rape turn us into idiots. It is never too late to make the effort to find the good in this world and in others rather than living daily trying to find the evil. Take care of yourself Scott...it has been a very rough year for you, and I imagine very traumatizing. I wish you the very best...always.
  11. Hey @umbertino Thanks for checking in my friend. Doing ok here I think, hope the same for you! It has been a very hot summer so far, been busy as usual. Have a great day!
  12. Glad to read that everything went well. Beautiful family and I imagine you and the misses are exhausted. Do you ever get sleep???
  13. @wildeman So sorry to hear of your dad passing. Sounds like a good guy and committed to a life of service, you were blessed to have such a quality dad and my utmost respect to him for his service. In regards to his wishes, I think the easiest step you can make is to contact the comm center where he worked, explain to them his wishes, and ask them how to proceed to fulfill those wishes. It sounds like that place meant a lot to him and I bet the people he worked with loved him greatly. At the very least, they will say no, but I am thinking they may make an exception for him. Only way to know is to reach out to them and see if it is even possible. I hope you can get things worked out and my very best wishes to you! Thanks also for sharing your dad's history with us...America could use more men like him who honestly care about their country.
  14. I am a broken person in many ways, due to life experiences, and it is only out of that brokenness I speak as to what I have learned and how so many things out there serve one purpose...that is to divide. Divide our minds, hearts and distract us in every way. It simply is NO way to live the life we have been given. I have got to experience many wonderful things in life, but those things that taught me real lessons are those things that hurt the most. I can only speak for myself, the things I have learned along the way in this bizarre life, and how those things have helped me to realize many years ago that so many things I once thought I understood or knew, I really did not. In fact, I knew literally NOTHING. I only knew what someone else told me how to feel and think. There was a time many years ago, I could barely tolerate opposing views or really ANY challenge to my views, beliefs, etc. Until one day, too many things about what I thought I knew no longer made sense. it can be traumatic to face reality and realize how little we truly "know". I learned to have an open mind, because having a closed mind did nothing for me except make me at times an angry intolerable person, and that was just not who I am down deep. When I changed to such a degree I learned it was time to take a different path. I allowed too many things to influence my mind that gradually had turned me into nothing but an echo of someone else's thoughts, beliefs, and I realized I had no original thought if I continued to allow that. I learned I had to think for myself, because allowing others to do that for me was no longer an option. I learned to LIVE again, rather than existing under my comfortable canopy of various beliefs, ideologies, etc. I now thank those that challenged me, those that disagreed with me, those that actually told me the truth about myself long ago, but I was too hard headed to admit to much of what they were trying to tell me. Sometimes, the most fearful thing to do is change your mind...but it can be one of the most liberating steps you can take. When I changed my mind about how I perceive others, how I treated others, and how I decided to treat others as I desired to be treated, I suddenly broadened my understanding, and I learned so much, and I learn something new every day. I still have whole lot of work to do on ME...because if we are ever going to be a united nation again, we better learn to start with ourselves FIRST, rather than pointing fingers at others to try and do little more than protect our preconceived notions about life. You guys have a great day! 😃
  15. Hi Karsten 🙂 Just a few thoughts for what it is worth, and a few things I have learned in life... Let's look at your concerns from a different angle... Let's say your post was from one of those who you label as "liberal haters, demonic this or that, liberal socialist commie..." and the list goes on and on...you get my point. They were complaining about having to deal with the hatred and views of "conservative" <enter label here>, that they did not appreciate how the board was being "run" by those type of people, that the opinions and views of those labeled people were offensive, and they wanted to leave because they were accused as being "in charge" of the board. What would you say to them? I can pretty much predict the reaction, not necessarily saying YOU would say the following...we see it here frequently. Terms like "poor snowflake", or "go find your safe place little commie"...etc. How does any of that nonsense help others to grow and learn from each other? I would say 99% of the people on this forum actually DO love their country, just as much you do...is not THAT the most important thing? Some of those folks support NO political party...yet they love their country and are patriots, just like YOU. Do you associate a dissenting view or opinion or belief that does not agree with you as a threat? How so? Everyone has an opinion, and IF a person TRULY supports "free speech", then you allow dissenting opinions, views, beliefs, thoughts just as much as you desire everyone to simply always agree with you. IF you support "free speech" you would never attack or demonize those that speak their mind...it is OK to tell them you disagree...but why not let it at that? Anything beyond that is pounding your chest demanding to be "right", and in the process tearing apart another person who simply does not agree with your views, but tearing them apart and making accusations is somehow supposed to make YOUR opinion more valuable? Last time I checked, Adam still runs this board, and he has chosen to allow dissenting opinions for the most part, which shows he supports freedom of speech. He may not agree with it, but unless it crosses a line that he has drawn, live and let live, speak and let speak, right? My advice is simple...learn to allow others to challenge your thoughts...sometimes the best lessons I have learned in life is taking the time to LISTEN to opposing views, because within it I found a pearl of wisdom and it helped me LEARN. I may have wanted to just react and pounce on them, I may have wanted to tear their opinion apart because it was not what I wanted to hear...BUT, I chose to listen. How can choosing to listen and learn, then offer your side of a discussion cause YOU any harm? If you want a place to speak your mind only, without ANY opposing views, I suggest starting your own forum where NO opposing views are allowed. Personally, I would find that a truly boring place, where all one did was seek out validation for their own thoughts and views, beliefs, etc. I learn from many people here when it comes to political discussion. I will not participate in the labeling, name calling and demonizing because it is only someone demanding you agree with them, and I do not play that game. I think the most important "key" to social media is to encourage everyone to THINK for themselves. We better learn to do that, or someone else will think for you and that never works out. So take a break, relax, realize that the world is full of opinions and opposing views to your own...can you stand for what you believe in WITHOUT allowing others opinions to affect you so negatively? Can you choose to listen rather than rebuke? We should desire discussion...civil debate...why? So we can ALL learn something from each other, have some humility about us to admit we may not have all the answers. I think you are intelligent enough to understand how the game of politics is played, or any other divisive subject. How do we learn if we do not allow anything OR anyone to challenge our beliefs or views, or opinions??? We don't, we just desire to be constantly validated...we only want to read or hear what WE want to hear, nothing outside of that, and anyone that challenges that is torn apart. Maybe have more of an open mind, instead of reacting, it is OK to learn to listen, respect the opposing sides views...then it is OK to agree to disagree without dividing others. All the best to you, no matter what you choose. I personally think your opinions are worth reading, I may not agree with them, but I do not feel the need to attack others because I disagree with them. Have a great day!
  16. That fits you well Pitcher! Thanks for the laugh!
  17. Bravo to you @Starrider Excellent post. Unfortunately, some feel the need to pursue conflict and division, insisting upon being "right" rather than learning to work together and cooperate with those that may differ with their views. I've said it many times, politics and religion are the two most divisive tools throughout history to this day, and if we continue down the path of allowing their influence to divide and distract us, to keep us fighting against each other, we will ALL lose. Hopefully someday, we will wake up and realize how very important your message is and live accordingly. We have as humans wasted far too much time on the things that divide us, instead of unite us. Indeed, the only thing that matters is we better learn to treat each other as we desire to be treated, and if some think a religious belief is necessary to actually accomplish that, then they have a much deeper problem then they realize. Imagine what could be accomplished for good if we could unite without all the labels and baggage, and learned to agree to disagree, without allowing ourselves to view each other as some manner of enemy? Thank you very much for what you posted...very refreshing. 🎖️
  18. Flynn case dismissed by DOJ. I think this was the proper move...the FBI coerced him as they do to many people. https://apnews.com/ae1ad252bb13490db2ceffc5d17b6d92 WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department on Thursday said it is dropping the criminal case against President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, abandoning a prosecution that became a rallying cry for Trump and his supporters in attacking the FBI’s Russia investigation. The move is a stunning reversal for one of the signature cases brought by special counsel Robert Mueller. It comes even though prosecutors for the last three years had maintained that Flynn had lied to the FBI about his conversations with the Russian ambassador in a January 2017 interview. Flynn himself admitted as much, and became a key cooperator for Mueller as he investigated ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign. In court documents being filed Thursday, the Justice Department said it is dropping the case “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information.” The documents were obtained by The Associated Press. But it may also add to Democratic concerns that Attorney General William Barr is excessively loyal to the president, and could be a distraction for a Justice Department that for months has sought to focus on crimes arising from the coronavirus. The Justice Department’s action comes amid an internal review into the handling of the case and an aggressive effort by Flynn’s lawyers to challenge the basis for the prosecution. The lawyers cited newly disclosed FBI emails and notes last week to allege that Flynn was entrapped into lying when agents interviewed him at the White House days after Trump’s inauguration. Though none of the documents appeared to undercut the central allegation that Flynn had lied to the FBI, Trump last week pronounced him “exonerated The decision is the latest dramatic turn in a years-old case full of twists and turns. In recent months, his attorneys have leveled a series of allegations about the FBI’s actions and asked to withdraw his guilty plea. A judge has rejected most of the claims and not ruled on others, including the bid to revoke the plea. The decision comes as Barr has increasingly challenged the Russia investigation, saying in a television interview last month that it was started “without any basis.” In February, he overruled a decision by prosecutors in the Roger Stone case in favor of a more lenient recommended sentence for the longtime Trump friend. Full Coverage: Michael Flynn Earlier this year, he appointed Jensen, of St. Louis, to investigate the handling of Flynn’s case. As part of that process, the Justice Department produced to Flynn’s attorneys a series of emails and notes, including one handwritten note from a senior FBI official that mapped out internal deliberations about the purpose of the Flynn interview: “What’s our goal? Truth/admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?” the official wrote. Other documents show that the FBI had been prepared weeks before its interview of Flynn to drop its investigation into whether he was acting at the direction of Russia. Later that month, though, as the White House insisted that Flynn had never discussed sanctions with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, FBI officials grew alarmed by Flynn’s conversations with the diplomat and what he had communicated to the White House. The investigation remained open, and agents went to visit him in the White House on Jan. 24, 2017. Justice Department officials visited the White House two days later to warn officials that they feared that Flynn was compromised and vulnerable to blackmail by Russia because of his account of what was said on the call. White House officials waited several weeks to oust him from the job, saying they’d concluded that Flynn had lied to them. Flynn pleaded guilty that December, becoming among the first of the president’s aides to admit guilt in Mueller’s investigation. He acknowledged that he lied about his conversations with Kislyak, in which he encourage Russia not to retaliate against the U.S. for sanctions imposed by the Obama administration over election interference. He provided such extensive cooperation that prosecutors said he was entitled to a sentence of probation instead of prison. As it turned out, that sentencing hearing was abruptly cut short after Flynn, facing a stern rebuke from U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan, asked to be able to continue cooperating and earn credit toward a more lenient sentence. Flynn’s misgivings about the case were already on display when his then-attorneys pointedly noted in their sentencing memo that the FBI had not warned him that it was against the law to lie when they interviewed him at the White House in January 2017. Since then, though, he has hired new attorneys — including Sidney Powell, a conservative commentator and outspoken critic of Mueller’s investigation — who have taken a far more confrontational stance to the government. The lawyers have accused prosecutors of withholding documents and evidence they said was favorable to the case and repeatedly noted that one of the two agents who interviewed Flynn was fired from the FBI for having sent derogatory text messages about Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.
  19. It appears the movie is back up on their website...it was even removed from there earlier this morning. Someone put it up on youtube again, probably will not last long. https://plandemicmovie.com/
  20. Now that is some serious rain coming down there Scotty. Did you have to pull over during it or were you already stopped? I used to work within the trucking industry many years ago in a service garage as parts manager. I met a lot of great guys and some not so great, but one thing was for certain, they were faithful in their duties and so many do not always realize how important trucking business is, it literally keeps the country moving. Thank you!
  21. I agree 8th ID. I have listened for two months to the official narrative and observed our reaction as a country. I now want to listen to the other side preferably those who are within the system and understands how it operates. There are many getting their thoughts out on this, but i try and find those with experience rather than speculation. This Dr. in this video as well as others who speak have much experience, and this Dr. Mikovits spent time in jail, as the medical mafia came after her after she began to talk about some of the practices within the vaccine business and what was contained in them. She is NOT anti-vaccine, rather she exposed certain elements within some vaccines that are particularly harmful. She has also worked with this Dr. Fauci and others. They accused her of theft, and other accusations, for which she paid heavily for, even though it was a set up. Very interesting details and story from her, she is quite qualified in her field. I also looked into her background, as stated above, it is amazing how the system will go to any length in order to silence their critics. You tube has now removed this video, but I put up a link to their website where it can be watched there. I am all for getting to the truth about these matters. I will listen to both sides, and then weigh the evidence. It is the best we can do for now, but I think we all want to understand the various motives behind this and the players, and come to our own conclusions. So far, there are enough people on the inside who are raising the red flags, and should be heard...and there are those who just appear to want attention and spread misinformation. Hopefully we can all sort this out with some sanity, before the next news cycle attempts to scare us all into submission to more of their fear. Thanks for the comment @8th ID 😃
  22. Unfortunately, Youtube has removed this video, but you can watch part 1, same video at their website here: https://plandemicmovie.com/
  23. My two cents worth for you @PeaceSign...speaking only from my own experiences, no disrespect meant to anyone. If this Tolle fellow helps you find some balance in your life and assists you in dealing with the constant fear and doom fed to the masses daily by religion, politics, etc., and helps you cope with that, then you are a better person for it. In my opinion, any system that must use threats and fear in order to convert one to follow any ideology, will only end up sucking the life out of a person, and it encourages a mind set that pushes people into a life of fear and constant guilt, and the belief they must appease their gods to gain favor. Imagine a parent who constantly threatens a child with sadistic punishment every time they fail or fall, the toll this would take upon their mental and emotional health over time? This is the kind of mental trauma many live with. I speak from experience with this, and have seen first hand the toll this takes upon peoples minds including my own many years ago. I have lost good friends because I dared to question this mentality, but I could no longer live under constant fear and the manipulation I personally witnessed going on. Certain religious sects push the fear buttons constantly, accusing others of whatever makes them look better in the eyes of their flocks, rather than edifying the people and encouraging them to seek peace and love with their neighbors and to reject fear. It can be very divisive and destructive. I think it is ironic really, the very same people that claim they were not given a spirit of fear, but one of love, power and SOUND MIND...are often the very same folks who use fear in order to get others to believe like them, and they themselves are often taught to live in the shadows of an angry wrathful deity, taught to see demons behind every tree, taught to only see the bad in others, and that destroys any peace or sound mind they are promised. I have seen this too often. It feeds into ancient superstitions, etc., and unfortunately many never understand the simple foundation of treating others as you desire to be treated. That means you do not lay upon others heavy burdens and demands, you do not use fear to manipulate, because that is contrary to the action of "agape love". How can one experience "perfect love" if they live in fear? Fear is profitable to the system, it keeps the people under control. Ultimately, it can produce deep emotional issues, and adversely affect ones mental health. I have seen that far too many times within certain religious ideologies and how it has affected people. It can be tragic to watch it unfold. Be well, and all the best to you.
  24. Part 1 is 25 minutes...from actual qualified voices, not "conspiratorial". Some questions addressed and some experiences by those who work in the medical industry, not talking heads.
