The 100 quadrillion dinars would be 4 trillion 25,000 IQD notes (assuming the largest available denomination available to us presently). If a 25,000 IQD note is 0.003 inches thick (estimate - could be more), the stack would be 1 billion feet high or 189,394 miles high with all the bills laid flat on top of each other. This would be approximately 83.4% of the way from the surface of the earth to the moon. This same stack laid down would circle the earth about 7.62 times at the equator. Pretty sure a notable portion of the world's forests would have been used to do this, if it was actually completed. Maybe those sneaky French folks are putting a story out there so outlandish to scare people to sell their dinar to them at a below market price? Just askin'. I'm calling this one :bs: and so on and so forth.

An earlier news article within the past week mentioned 70 signatures to remove Abadi. Looks like the "Remove Abadi" parliamentarian crowd is loosing ground.

Are there around 225 parliamentarians in the Iraqi parliament? If so, these 70 signatures may be less than a 1/3 of the entire Iraqi parliament. Could be a lot of noise making for nothing. Except, hopefully, Abadi could use this with the Iraqi people to oust these noise makers!

LGD - Thanks for posting. I saw this today and thought this article is a good read - really thought provoking about any implications this may have for us.

Maybe a joint or cooperative initiative to root out the criminals big and small. We may soon hear Maliki and the rest of the key criminals are in custody to face Crimes Against Humanity and/or other charges levied by the International Criminal Court (ICC). I think the issuance of arrest warrants for other senior officials is really good news since this is tangible evidence that the past crimes, what ever they are, are being dealt with in accordance with law. To me this indicates an Iraqi government moving toward stability and the Iraqi court system is likely to be more aptly judicious. All indicating the people's demands are being addressed. In the mean times, looks like we wait and see what happens. Hopefully all good. Thanks Yota for all these excellent news articles!!!

My online currency converter is stuck around 1 USD = 1,191 to 1,131 IQD. Can you fix my online currency converter so that it consistently reads 1 USD = 10 IQD or (much) less? I'm pretty sure a lot of other folks are having the same technical difficulty. A while back you mentioned some affiliates were optimistic about the event happening in the very near future. Have you been in contact with these affiliates recently? If so, what input are they giving you now? Thanks again for this great opportunity.

I may have missed something, but from what I saw of Donald Trump's comments, I did not see anything slanderous, libelous, or anything outside of the pale of the 1st Amendment right to free speech regarding persons who cross the border into the US illegally. Statistics seem to back the statements Mr. Trump made for which he is now receiving criticism. This country is mostly a country of immigrants and descendants of immigrants from numerous racial and ethnic backgrounds who immigrated legally according to the US Immigration Policies in effect at the time. So what has changed? Political Correctness now supersedes US Law and Rule of Law? If someone is in the US illegally and thereby breaking the law, what says they will not disregard other US laws? Or cause me or my loved ones harm? It is a sad day to see someone being ostracized for simply exercising their rights and stating verifiable facts. I suspect any compromises in US Sovereignty over US Territories via US Laws and Rule Of Law will only lead to greater internal problems and compromise our ability to exercise prudent foreign policies

If I'm not mistaken, Patrick Henry once said, "Eternal vigilance is the price of Freedom." Rule of Law should never be subverted for any individual's or group's chosen indulgence(s). Looks like a clear case here to support, with some one's valuable and productive life lost, the US National Sovereignty should never be set aside. I really don't think our US Military sacrifices were made for some illegal alien to disregard US Sovereignty and destroy a US Citizen's life especially on US soil. My great grandparents immigrated according to US laws. Shouldn't everyone abide by US Rule Of Law, too, when wanting to immigrate? Obviously this criminal should not have ever entered the US.

SgtFuryUSCZ - I suspect this can also set the stage for an Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) or Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) to destroy all (or alot of) the electronics and bring everyone and everything to it's knees - financially and otherwise. Potentially (I am certainly not advocating an EMP or CME for any reason whatsoever or any societal chaos), the EMP or CME could be used to gain further controls (via Martial Law or otherwise) over the masses. At that point, forget the Zombies, the roaming hoards of desperate people will bring the remaining (surviving) few to a level of stone age serfdom. Hey, what better opportunity for the PTBs? I think there are a lot of good people in Civil Servitude in the US and other nations that actively promote social stability to the extent possible and counter those who have destructive social motives. Otherwise, past world events (even more recent ones) would have run the course and stone age serfdom would already be in place. All told, I do not trust Uncle Scam or duh Gubmint to act in my or my fellow Countrymen's best interests. Fortunately, I believe God hears our prayers as we pray for our leaders (I Timothy 2:1-6). I would like to thank those currently in whatever branch of our US Military Service and our US Military Veterans for the jobs they have done extremely well and the freedoms I enjoy because of their service and sacrifice. For those who served in Vietnam (and all the other theatres) I would like to say, "WELCOME BACK - WELCOME HOME!!!"
