  1. Who carries a $1,000.00 in their pockets? Wish I could.
  2. How can private dealers be restricted to how much they can sell? I understand if they are getting their supply from the banks or some other government controlled entity. We will see how long this last. I would imagine only dinar.outsIde of government controlled entities will be allowed to be sold. How long before the supply is exhausted? If this remains in place until 1/01/2024 that woukd be great. If it gets reversed then we know it's BS.
  3. I don't know if it's a gurantee that it will happen, BUT all information is leading us to that conclusion. I will wait and expect to happen until it doesn't. Then we will learn why it didn't happen and what else still needs to be done. Why have a three year budget if you have to adjust it a million times because of it coming out at a low rate and rising to a much higher rate before it stabilizes? Why stop using the dollar and forcing your people to use an undervalued currency (that cost more to print than what is worth currently) when your government is saying that it will be stronger than the dollar? I think it's coming and will be at least 1 to 1. IMO
  4. Good of time as any. I'll belive it. Until 5PM on Sunday. I can wait that long Tommorow?
  5. Exactly! The Dinar doesn't have to RV or RI But then the dinar wouldn't be stronger than the dollar as they have stated. Of course, banning the use of the dollar automatically makes the dinar stronger inside the borders of Iraq. Not sure how the war will pay for itself if it doesn't RV / RI. We sure as hell aren't getting free oil. Staying cautiously optimistic!
  6. Cautiously optimistic. But we don't know what we don't know. Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. Go RV! GO RI!
  7. You won't hear or see anything about lower notes until right before the RI/ RV . That's my opinion
  8. I've never seen an article stating the IMF said the Dinar woukd RV. I did see a clip where George Bush said that the war woukd pay for itself. I'm kind of hitching my horse to that cart.
  9. While we wait for the next few days to pass, Im curious about others thoughts. On December 20th Iraq is supposedly going to allow financial transactions by use of the dinar only. Their currency still isn't internationally traded. The HCL is still not a done deal or being implemented. We haven't really heard much about lower denomination dispersal. ( not that we will with much advance notice) I'm cautiously optimistic about things happening from December 20th until the end of the first quarter of 2024. But like I said before, we don't know what else needs to be done. What is everybody's else's thoughts or opinions?
  10. Yep. That's right. The HR office wants to have a 2 hour call tommorow l to get some information on what happened. I politely declined. But she was insistent. So I guess we're doing this. Fire me first for hear-say with no chance to explain THEN do fact finding. Hmmmmmm Sounds assbackwards!
  11. I've been in this game since 2004. I have learned a lot about currency, the standing up of a new government, corruption, tribalism and budget creation. We have had many goal lines crossed that we thought for sure woukd usher in a RI or RV.. In no particular order. The creation of a budget, the creation of a 3 year budget, implementation of QI cards, Shabibi being in charge of the CBI, the goverment being formed, HCL signed, new oil fields developed, educating of citizens of new currency, etc. Now we are hearing that the Iraqis can no longer use the US dollar after January 1st 2024. If the dinar does not rise in value in the form of an RI or RV and does not simultaneously become internationally traded and is not on the forex after the first quarter of 2024, how much longer will you hang on? I considered my money gone the moment I bought the dinar. I'll hang on to mine because it's not costing me any more money to do so. Just curious if anyone has a reason to get out after this next goal line if it does not RI or RV. At what point, for you, do you realize that it won't happen? At what point do you say enough is enough and there is nothing more the Iraq goverment can do to increase the value of the dinar? What is your breaking point? It seems like there is always something else to be done. I hope we are done with this within the first quarter of 2024. If not, I'm curious to see what has to be done next. What else will I learn?
  12. If I hear one more person say " it's not going to happen overnight ", I swear I'm going to show up at thier door and smack the dumbness right out of them. It's been 20 years. There is no "overnight " anything about this.
  13. Looked for any news on this. I found nothing. Pretty big news to not be heard of somewhere. Maybe tomorrow
  14. In my humble opinion, a slow and steady rise from a low revalue would cause the Iraqis to hold onto thier chunky money. Why would they spend if they know in a week or two the dinar could revalue and increase in value 2 or.trhee times.? They aren't tech illiterate? I'm sure some Iraqis, not all, are speculating just like us that the exchange rate will rise substantially if it opens at a low rate. It would be a nightmare for business owners to adjust thier goods, contracts and services every week. It just doesn't make sense to me to open at .01, .10 or.35. I think, at least, a $1.00 is what we will see.
  15. I'm not sure I agree with whole premises of the US controlling the oil. People thought that of the Iraq invasion. Yet, here we sit with high fuel prices and no revalued dinar. Hasn't worked out to well for us.
  16. This is nothing but a test. Glen Beck is nothing but a fear monger. If the deep state, cabal or some other entity wanted to take over the people or start " population control" all they would have to is erase your bank accounts, shut off the internet and the power grid. This is nothing.
  17. That's a question our government should publicly answer.
  18. Same here. Bought the dinar in 2004 when i was 32 and had just returned from my first deployment. Still have some time to before retirement. But I have not counted on it. I'll retire comfortably with or without it. I considered that 5K gone at that time. Money I could afford to lose. Time will tell if it was a good investment.
