  1. Wow. WTF are we going to do now? If this is true ... Is there a chance that rightious leaders will be found to bring a legitimate, non-corrupt, representative government into this country that we sacrificed so many American lives for. Shall I just start papering my wall with the IQD I have?
  2. So kick their a$$s, get Maliki out (he has embezzled enough money to retire on - the ME way), and get a Martin Luther King type of Iraq elected to the Prime Minister-ship.
  3. All that and no claim on a rate. Blah, blah, blah. What kind of a rumor section is this?
  4. Thug that was funny, because if you read what you said super fast while being tired it comes across differently. LOL.
  5. LA DE FRICKING DA. Hopefully this Maliki is doing his job for real and not just trying to position himself for something better.
  6. Hey there LGD. Gave you a bump up since someone gave you a neg. There is a bunch of chiz going on in Iraq and the ME. All different forces aligning inside Iraq according to their common views on their faith and similar believing sects in neighboring countries. Bottomline for me is that for now at least nothing has changed dispite all the chiz. The IQD has relatively the same value as before the ISIS debacle, Maliki is still in power, playing his Obama-like moves in not seating a government because he claims he doesn't have to ; ignoring the fact that the constitution says he must. Then there is the mystery why the US is not providing needed weapons systems to repulse ISIS, that they have already paid for when they were "stable".
  7. This sounds as though it could mess with the velosity behind the USD. Hopefully our dollar will go up in price before it goes down in orice after this takes effect.
  8. The GOI, whoever they may end up being need the help now, not in 2016. Intensify the training of the Iraqi pilots. Get them effective sooner rather than later. True we wouldn't want ISIS to get these planes ... since they now have plutonium. Thanks to the current US government.
  9. Brother. I don't know if your looking at a major operation for a loved one? Is it about debt? I don't know your situation is. I don't need to know. Get the operation or the item needed. Charge it or whatever, then know that bankruptcy is a viable option. Keep your dinar. You will easily establish a credit history afterwards. Normally I would never offer such advice, but in a truly desparate situation desparate solutions are warranted.
  10. Rochester, hopefully they will form a government before 2 years go by.
  11. Why on earth would the US want Abdul-Qadir al-Obaidi a Saddam era minister to become the next Prime Minister of Iraq? While Sunni's must be allowed to participate in the GOI, not in this position at this time. A Saddam by any other name still sucks. He is still a Sunni, and would likely cause the rest of Iraq to flash back to all that dic-tater did. If we have any influence we should pick a Shia or Kurd (Bazzarani) that will actually unite the country.
  12. Question: Have they determined who's currency they will use? The Yuan, the Rupee, etc? We, the US, may have pre-empted them by flooding the world with a cheaper less valued USD. So maybe when they start to actually compete with the current collection of big boys in the "world bank arena" we will be ahead of their game anyway. Plus, the US is the largest single market to trade in. Everyone wants to do business here. Wouldn't we make them use our dollar if they wanted to sell their stuff here? China included.
  13. Nope, it more like: what don't mess with our currancy war plans Alex. Or , "What is, thats what you get for making the US, even Barack Obama, do things twice.
  14. Malarky. Pure and simple. Though for a Shiite to stay in power, not necessarily Maliki, this odd combination may need to cross the aisles to get a representative coalition government seated. One must also include the Kurds and their representatives as well. So it will take Iraq, Kurds, Iran, and Saudi Arabia to bring a peace of sorts to this region.
  15. Adam I appreciate you, your site, and your crew. Is there anyway to calculate how much dinar this ISIS & L thing has taken off the market; if any at all? It can work to their advantage inorder to lower their costs of increasing the value of their currancy. And there by funding my retirement.
  16. The dollar will likely remain King amongst currancies of the world, barring any unforeseen circumstances, because China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, France et al, own so much of our debt. Also because they include the cheap USD as a significant portion of their monetary reserve. These two points alone factor into the valuation of their currency and their economy. If we get knocked off the world stage as France's and Russia's "CALLS" to de-dollarize the world ask, and thats all they can do at this point is ask, the world would see a economic collaspe worst than the original Depression. In other words they would hurt their own economy's as well.
  17. Agreed!!! But will they have passed a budget by then? Or even a continuing resolution? Since they are all in violation of their constitution.
  18. AAARRRRRRGGHHHH !!!! Who lives in a pineapple under the sea .... Porous and yellow and absorbent is he ....
