  1. So, LDG, you slam on Stryler for using a fake ID instead of his real name. So,,,,in your opinion that means Adam Montana also has no cajones, and of course, you yourself as well, because surely, your REAL name is not Lady Graces Dady. We ALLLLL use screen names, WTF?!?!?!? And it plainly stated, at the top of the post that this blog was from Stryker. vietnam 1969 never stated that he was the author. and now, for the main reason I am making any comment at all. lol This BC 216 thing has not a damn thing to do with any country's Central bank or national banks, EXCEPT for the USA. And the info that Styker got on this whole rule, is in fact, from the USA government, but it is from September 11 of 1986!!! This is NOT big breaking news for Iraq, lol, this was important for the FED, and US banks in the US ONLY. Nothing to do with Iraq. I'm gonna try to post the link here, to the document he refers to: http://www.occ.gov/static/news-issuances/bulletins/pre-1994/banking-circulars/bc-1986-216.pdf I don't know if the link will actually 'go through' this site's filters or not; but if it doesn't, all anyone has to do, is go to your favorite search engine and put in: BC 216 Banking Issuance This will take you straight to the link I have attempted to add in here. And it is exactly what Stryker was referring to. The mistake is that this doesn't have anything to do with anyone but the USA. This is US ONLY, doesn't have anything to do with any other country's Central Bank. And it only pertains to what, how and why US banks, will deal with, and report transactions and any profits from dealing with foreign securities. PERIOD. No relation to any country's potential of an RV, RI, LOP, or demonetization. I am further surprised that anyone would believe that our FED could have any control over another soverign nations Central Bank. Come on people, lol, I will buy into most conspiracies, lol, but this one is toooo much. I spent 25 years in Special Ops, but the US is NOT that damn big of a player. NO one Central Bank is. The closest that ANY Central Bank in the world is to this ability, is the Central Bank of the EU, because they can 'strongly suggest' to member nations, what they set for a value of their own currency in relation to the Euro. But they are the only one with that kind of 'godlike' power. Every other Central Bank controlls only its own country's currency. Just as the FED tells our banks and our government what the value of the USD is at. Or at least, lol, what to try and set it at, the world markets still have their own impact of course. And Vietnam 1969, Thank you for your service!!!!
  2. Would be great for Iraq. I ain't hoding my breath though. Iraq is too much of 'all talk and no walk'.........
  3. Yeah, it would be GREAT news. But that pic of him sweating is from last summer, at Parliament if I recall right. Not a current pic. Sadly. And unless I am mistaken, the lawyers in Lebanon can file all the paper they want, it won't do anything, Maliki has full legal diplomatic immunity. And since this is about attacking his own countries embassy in another country, and if his own country won't do anything about it, lol, then Lebanon has no chance in heck of doing anything about it. The absolute most that Lebanon is gonna do, is to declare Maliki as persona non grata, and have him leave. But they won't arrest him. Just another 'fluff' article, no meaning, no impact, but I wish it did......
  4. lol Now THERE is a vision,,,,,,just imagine, all of the ones mentioned above, lol, in ONE noose at the same time. (sigh) Now there is a "thankgiving wish"......... AND, lol, you can reuse and recyle the rope!!!!!!
  5. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA I appreciate everyones contribution to this. I am not a poet by any means, lol, sometimes, I sometimes, when i am lucky, become and a 'poet and don't know it', lol, but my dad is great at it, and so were you all!!!! laughter and smiles are truly the stuff of legend and hope for us all. THUG, lol, YOU are a monster. hahahhahahahahahahah And thank the gods that you are YOU!!!!!
  6. Truly. It seems like this is the gazillionth time recently, lol, that we have seen this basica article. But nothing ever changes, not for the better anyhow. There have been all the other articles, from the current CBI govenor that say the 'old' plan of Shabs, is no longer relevant, due to the political and security situation. But some of these MP's seem to think that regurgitating the same old story, will make their neighbors THINK something is happening. The CBI already said, a few weeks ago, that the old plan was out, and a new plan was on the table, BECAUSE of everything that has happened in the last year. And much as I hate to admit it, lol, it is pretty obvious that the OLD plan is off the table, not in the time table anymore, and they are strictly just screwing around. Still. And, has anyone ever heard how the CBI thinks they can do an RV with half a billion in USD worth of IQD in the hands of ISIS? I don't think anyone really wants to make them even richer than they are now? And at this point, I have not found anyone who can come up with a workable method to trade in the current stuff, without letting ISIS do the same. So how are we gonna see an RV, when they have all that cash? When other countries have a huge amount of money in the wrong hands, they have just scrapped the old, no cash in period, and started over with a new currency. Or at least that is what I have found in the last hundred years. I can't find any examples in research, that show a different method under this kind of scenario. Unless, lol, no one cares how rich ISIS gets. Anyone got any ideas on that, or info I didn't find? I really really realy want an idea that works here. hahhahahahahahhahaah Otherwise, they are not even gonna do a lop, lol, they will just do an RI, like Kuwait did back after their invasion. Kill the old currency or "demonetize it", and then re issue a new one. THAT my friends, is NOT an RV. And no one makes any money of it either!!!! Kuwait and North Korea were the two most recent examples of this that I found. And I really don't want that to happen to us, but I also don't know how they are gonna get around it either. Any ideas out there? Or info I missed, PLEASE tell me. I really want a good and happy solution here. lol
  7. as with the rest of you, this is just my opinion, but i have never agreed with the concept that a budget was needed to make any determination on an RV. Same for the HCL for that matter. I mean, if you agreed and published a budget, and THEN you changed the rate, you would just keep the same percentages, but the amount would be upgraded. Any departmetns, regions, etc., that had a surplus now, would and could be easily addressed with the following budget for the next year, other coutries and companies do that all the time. It is SOP. And as far as the HCL, again, whatever amounts/percentages were allocated to anyone, would only go up in actual value, percentages would remain the same. And, since they never have gotten around to a "new" HCL yet, the "old" HCL they have, is still legally active. And in fact, according to the old law, #97, all the oil contracts that have been signed by the Oil Ministry during the last few years, are actually not legally binding. This part is not my opinion by the way, check out the law yourself. But effectively, #97 says that the full parliament has to approve ALL oil contracts. One of the biggest "changes" of the "new" HCL proposals, all 3 of them, lol, is that the Oil Ministry could sign the contracts, with no need of the full parliament. so all the contracts are technically and legally only valid by the old law; which has been totally ignored. They have a HCL in place now. It isn't anything like the one that the West and the current Powers that Be, might want, lol, but it is a functioning law, that is just being ignored. That is part of why the Kurds have been able to get away with selling the oil they have. lol AFter all, if the central government wants to really push it, then the Kurds can push back and say that the current law is not being followed, so they have no standing to stop them. According to a lawyer friend of mine, the Kurds have a damn good legal point for international courts, or Iraqi ones. So there is no actual need for a budget or the HCL in order to push the RV button. IT would be nice, lol, and a good idea, but both can be addressed after the fact. So why no button pushing??? You all have as good an idea as me, but personally, I think it is because no one wants to make IS any damn richer than they are now, and since they have that half a billion (USD) in dinar, they don't know how to do an RV without making IS richer than hell. And until someone figures out a way around that, I don't think we are gonna see our RV. Just my guess.
  8. I totally agree that this bunch would not last long against any REAL fighter pilots from about any country. However, I do see one fairly good threat from them on this platform, we already know they love to suicide, and we know they use trucks and airliners to do it. Now, imagine some jacked up camel farmer, in a REAL tactical jet, I don't care if it is an old 21 or 23, it is still a serious tac fighter, and it has a fairly decent set of ECM and countermeasures on board, now imagine one of them attempting to fly one into our ships in the Gulf, or any other fixed target....... I am not saying that they will do real good, I am not saying that we probably couldn't shoot their asses down, but I would like to remind you what a handful of those idiots did a few years ago with a damn ski boat up against the USS Cole. In my 25 years in SOG, one thing I learned real damn quick; do NOT underestimate your enemy, that is a fools path. And secondly, when you are dealing with a truly commited individual, and or one that is moved by a religous zealousy, you can NEVER EVER ignore that drive and ambition to accomplish or at the least, TRY to accomplish their goal. Because they are already accepting of their death. And if an assasin is willing to die, in order to get his target, he or she is damn hard to stop. And history is full of examples of that fact. Just sayin'.....
  9. Ahhhh, but he did little grasshopper, he did. lol I am not gonna bother going back through his incredible bulk of lies, distortion and BS over the last few months. You like the ass, YOU do it. But he did in fact, in a public TV address, state those words. And you ARE a mealy mouthed, revisionist, socialist lieberal (intentional mispelling) and you ARE outnumbered by both true patriots and people who seek the truth. Sadly, you are too blinded by ideaology and idiocy, to see it. I spent 25 years in SOG, and I damn well do NOT appreciate that ass, or any of the incredible disrespect he shows for the country, the military or the Constitution!!! I do not lean to either major party, and I distrust, and am disillusioned by both sides. lol But that idiot puppet of Soros, is a blight on the world, not just the USA. You my friend, are certainly entitled to your opinion, as we all are. But announcing your idiocy and lack of facts, lol, is a true measure of your intellect. Peace, moron. I love my country, most of the people, but I detest the government, and I certainly do NOT trust it. This is no longer the country I fought for, lost friends in combat too, or left my own blood scattered in 30% of the worlds countries for. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH And right the hell on!!!!!
  10. the truth hurts, don't it? Adam's "political opinions" are part and parcel of his overall reports to us. People like you ask him why he thinks a certain way about something affecting an RV, then you get upset when he tells you WHY he says what he says. lol Make up your minds, if you have one. And here is more of the "truth",,,,, obummer could and should, have made the puch for troops to say for a while. YES, Bush signed the pullout agreement in 08, but then by the same token, "o" should not have been claiming that "he got us out" either, because it was a signed agreement by the previoius adminsitration, not some muslim nutjob in the white house!!! so pick any truth you want buddy, but stick to just one version please. you liberal socialist idiots cannot have it both ways, have you not figured that out yet? but all your "glorious leader" can do is claim credit for what others have done. just like his statement when SEAL Team 6 took out bin laden, you DO remember that one don't you? "I formed SEAL Team 6 to go after Bin Laden". what BS!!! 6 had been around years before that fool was even born. of course, liberal socialists have never been fond of the truth, only "revisionist" truth, and that, lol, changes every other day!!!!
  11. lol Well, good ridance. And you really need a reality check on the political facts as well. Truly a "mostly socialist liberal" is what you seem to be. I see you also have a wonderful "selective memory" when it comes to votes, decisions, and overall political clap trap. hahahahahhahahahahahah IF Obummer had had enough spine to stand up to Putin, lol, he could have struck Syria way back then, he did not, and he still doesn't have the balls. Never will either. And while I didn't particularly LIKE Bush, at least he did take responsiblity for what he DID do, mos to fthe time. Whereas Obummer has spent 6 years balming everything on Bush, even when he himself voted on some of what he now says is a bad thing. So take off the "democratic rose colored glasses". I spent time over there as well, and while I think we needed to kick SAddam to the curb, and still do, I was not happy to be going over there either. Obviously, you won't be missed, and neither will your buddy Obummer. Just sayin'.......
  12. It will be great if true. I just have one question........why was their top general involved in a fight to take a town? He has historically only showed up AFTER a town is taken, if he shows up at all. SOB is as secretive as Osama was, lol, with good reason!!! And this is at least the 2nd or 3rd report of his death in the last couple of months. I keep hoping, lol, but so far, he has still been alive; lets "hope" the Kurds are right, has to be an imporvement of the overall human condition if he is dead. But I have also not seen or heard anything else of confirmation yet, so........
  13. That is because the CBI is still using the "managed currency" program initially installed by the IMF. Iraq does not HAVE to remain in it anymore, but they can CHOOSE to do so. And because they have chosen to do so, it has allowed the IQD to remain basically unchanged throughout all the political and physical violence. And that is why, lol, any other country that is talking civil unrest, war and invasions, or is even considering it, have their value go down, and Iraq just stays stable at 1166. You figure USA, Russia, the EU, etc., everyone's money goes up and down on the slightest provocation of unrest or worry, lol, but Iraq just stays there at 1166, day after day, you KNOW that can't be right unless it is still being "managed".
  14. lol except for prime minister you mean. hahahhahahahhahahahaha And he still had his seat as an MP in parliament, unless he wanted to retire.
  15. Well, of course everyone has an opinon, and I am no different. lol But I really don't think what I said was "reactionary". I"m just looking at what has and has NOT been happening over the last couple of years, and I am seeing a repeating pattern now again. That good people is NOT reactionary, lol, that is looking for patterns, seeing the historical facts so far, and making my own opinion based on what I see. Now guru's, lol, those creeps are reactionary!!! hahahahhahahahhahhah As for Abadi being a Maliki cronie, just check out previous articles right here on DV regarding his history, his decicisons, and other positions he has filled UNDER Maliki, and going back further, you find him in Maliki's corner, pretty solidly actually. Although, I grant you in the more recent months, he did back away from Maliki a tiny bit. But not much. I still say "cronie". And I am sorry, but i do not agree that Iraq has been making "great headway" in stabiling the country. In fact, I see exactly the opposite. The IDF, for the most part, is still not trying to break out of the capital, lol, they are completely surrounded, and the only REAL gains that have happened against ISIS has been from the Kurds. And you notice the Kurds are not having any big reasons to try and punch southward? I wouldn't either if I was them. lol The security situation in Iraq is continuing to sprial downward, and even many of the gains that the Kurds have made, have some of them been lost again due to a lack of supply support form the West. I realize that everything I say is sounding very negative, and I wish it wasn't!!!! But 25 years in SOG taught me to look at the realities for what they are, not what I wish they were. I want this half mythical RV to happen just as badly as everyone else. I just do NOT see it happening anytime soon, that's all. Iraq was in a MUCH more stable condition when we left than it is now. And if they couldn't push the damn button then, lol, and if Maliki's "pet" govenor couldn't push the button while he was in, then why on earth would anyone really truly believe that they can be anywhere close to pushing the darn thing NOW, when the government is JUST as "non functioning" now as it was before the elections, and the security situation is a hell of a lot worse now? Not trying to be negative, not trying to be sarcasstic, I am asking a simple question. The only thing I see is a continuing roller coaster of indecision and ineptiude by the most over paid elected officials in the entire world government. And they are that. lol Have you seen that listing of stats? IT is here on DV as well. Prime minister makes almost as much in a month as the US president in a year. And the MP's make a similar ratio in cmparisson to our Congress. Crazy. The HCL is still not out of committee, and hasn't been in years, they still have the same 3 drafts in that room they have had; NO Change. Security and stability has gone completely to hell in a handbasket. 800 fighters route 3 freaking divisions!!! Remaining militias and most of the IDF hiding in Baghdad. Even the Iranians, lol, are now demanding that we take a more active role in crushing ISIS. hahahhahahahaha Because the "Forces" they sent in to help the IDF are also not up to snuff when it comes to ISIS. (got to be making the graybeards in Tehran damn nervous) hahahhahahahahaha And they haven't passed a SIGNIFICANT law in parliament in about 4 years!!!! Oh they pass, or try to pass laws about penisons for retired people and they TALK about tariffs, and they TALK about a lot of things; but you check their Gazette, none of those laws they have been passing for several years now, have been MAJOR laws. Maybe important to some people, lol, granted, but not the laws we need to see for them to crawl out of the financial hole they are in. The price for the IQD is staying steady, and why not? IT is still being managed and controlled in that currency program they have been using. But if they "pulled out" of that, which they legally can now, according to the IMF, the value on the IQD would be likely back around 3000 to 4000 again. Just a few points in my mind, that say we are a long ways off from an RV still. It is just my opinion, lol, but I make it based on what I said, and what I have seen in the history of their inaction expecially since Obummer let us out of there like he did. So go ahead, lol, call me reactionary if you like. But if you look that word up, I don't think the definition applies to what I said. peace
