Colorado is pretty much a democrat state now (according to polls). But a lot of people are upset about the recent gun control bills that jammed through the state legislature. I think this will have a huge affect on future elections (hopefully). http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/05/18/colorado-sheriffs-sue-over-new-state-gun-restrictions/ http://www.denverpost.com/politics/ci_23275966/push-underway-colorado-springs-recall-senate-president-morse

For the millionth time: Hands off Social Security!
Hooter replied to umbertino's topic in Off Topic posts
Nevermind, don't worry about fixing the problem, just complain about our greedy and corrupt politicians. That always makes problems go away. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-11/social-security-hole-overwhelms-taxes-cuts.html -

I think three things can be done to help keep SS solvent. 1. means test ( if you don't need it, your gonna have to give it up, even though its unfair ) 2. increase age ( old people live longer now, and that has to be in the equation ) 3. keep SS taxes for SS ( politicians been robbing that money since they started collecting it ) -

2013 Iraq Budget Budget Vote Tuesday
Hooter replied to blueskies's topic in Iraq & Dinar Related News
The size of the budget is related to the value of the dinar (138 trillion). If the budget was opened at 13.8 trillion, we might make some money. I don't think it will happen, but one can hope. -

Now what can I do when Umbert tells us to embrace some of his socialist values ?
-
Let me use a bad analogy if I may. Imagine a gold and silver dealer right before a FED announcement on QE. It's pretty much guaranteed that there will be a significant increase in value of gold and silver after the FED announces they will print more money, but the dealers never stop buying and selling.

You gotta admit, they're pretty cool and handy. I pay $80 a month for unlimited everything, and think it's worth it.

Why did Mark Furman take the fifth when asked if he planted evidence to incriminate OJ, and, " If it doesn't fit, you must acquit ". Best court room line of all time. Good thing that guilty SOB is in jail right now.
