Legal Adviser to the President of Kurdistan, Azad Mulla Fendi, said the time had come to Iraq to join the International Criminal Court, calling on the international community to support the province of Kurdistan and to help get rid of the "Daash cancer."

This came during a meeting between the legal advisor to the president of the region with a delegation from the Iraqi Human Rights Association in Canada included Assembly President George Mansour and a number of officials in Arbil.

He said Mullah Fendi "The international community should help to get rid of Daash cancer and support the democratic experiment in the province of Kurdistan."

He pointed out that "the time has come to Iraq because regulates the International Criminal Court, and then work on the definition of the crimes committed by gangs Daash against civilians, as a genocide."
