  1. the ongoing sniping that comes from the Iraqi Parliament by individuals trying to represent the whole causes more confusion and obfuscation than is already inherently present, considering all the factions represented. The article yesterday regarding the committee looking into breaking the security agreement with the US. It was one guy on the committee, yet the news report which came out of Tehran suggested it represented the entire committee's thoughts. these types of misrepresentations can cause a lot of damage.
  2. and the article comes from Tehran...like they wouldn't love to see this happen. BTW,Iraq is not looking into this, one clown from Allawis block wants them to. Another grossly overhyped headline
  3. the question is...will Obama call this workplace related rage or an act of terrorism ?
  4. these people just love to pop off in the press==this will never happen
  5. gee, I wonder why the US does not want the popular crowd in some of these Sunni cities once surrounded and retaken. Could it be that they don't want mass killings and revenge activity by the popular crowd like happened elsewhere? hah, say it aint so.
  6. there is no way Russia will be in Iraq on this topic p.s. all this over 130 troops....really ? 130 troops does not an army make. good grief
  7. Socal--have you not noticed that almost everything in this Reuters article is NOT in Iraqi press. There is less friction now than ever between the Shia, Abadi has put together a very large coalition and Maliki is not around. Badr just met last week with Abadi and had a huge smile on his face in the photo. This is intentional misinformation for ISIS. They do not want our enemy to know the extent of what is about to occur. They also don't want all this poop in Iraqi press , which would confuse the Iraqi people. Iraqis don't read reuters as a whole. Suit yourself, the ride is about to end.
  8. SoCal, you always bring in such BS articles, always written by the western media , and always written with their sectarian or aggressive slant towards tearing apart Iraq. So they find some rogue group to say this. Ridiculous , not going to happen. As a matter of fact, the leader of the popular crowd, Badr, has joined with Abadi politically.
  9. and how's about coming on down to Baghdad REAL soon for a little reconciliation party we are having? They'll be chicks, booze and great smoke for ya King
  10. Yota, when did this occur, wasn't this assassination a few weeks back or am I confusing it with another bad Iraq moment?
  11. that whole article is nothing but silly mumbling, stupid speculation and non-factual information. Nonsensical actually.
  12. When the King of Saudi Arabia met with O recently, behind the scenes he promised to get oil prices back up some to help out our domestic production. Lets see if they follow up in this meeting as he promised
  13. I am not sure what some of you are reading, but there is nothing in this article that is bad--at all. All it says is that everyone is waiting on the reforms (which includes the monetary reform) and the Kurds and Baghdad are in the same low oil price boat. The oil deals have been worked out long ago, they are in the 2016 budget that has been sent from the cabinet back to Parl for one final vote.
  14. IF anyone thinks that the results of this meeting are going to reveal anything other than "its not time, we have this problem and that problem etc. etc" --then I have some oceanfront property in Oklahoma to sell you. There is no way this group of local folks has any say so whatsoever on the monetary policy. While I think we are extremely close to this being over, this meeting's results will not say anything of value, and most likely will produce the 4th big smoke article of the week...which should tell you something in and of itself.
  15. I understand going back and cleaning up the mess and finding the stolen dough--which has actually been ongoing long before the "Chalabi" report--but the fact of the matter is that the currency auctions go away post monetary reform anyway.
  16. these are long winded articles that seem to say ( in a round about way)that the vice presidents are out of work....
  17. Tennessee , you should use Brent crude as your oil price base--and the low for Brent has been 43.15 The current price is $45.48. Not that they care over there about what I say, but I would stick with $45 as my budget price. I understand what you are saying about shooting low,,,but many think this is about as low as she goes.
