Griffster
I'm enjoying the Treasury site still being down. It doesn't seem normal for a government site to be down this long without some logical reason. I entered it through a diffrent link then what is posted in this forum (through the UN) and it still doesn't work. The specific framework is down. Having dealt much with the Government regarding all of these supposed "Lock-downs" I can tell you all with certainty that it could be accurate. The government has always used a division of labor to create top secret items without more then 5-10 people actually knowing what they were for. IT personnel are held until a certain software change is completed and then sent on their way. they have no idea what they just did. They may have funneled funds into black ops accounts, or just fixed the janitors wages. The point here is, I do hope that a site with a dedicated IT staff that can't get their page working is a sign that we can finally start getting off this coaster GO GO RV RETIREMENT PLAN!!! GO GO RV PERSONAL CHEF!!! GO GO RV... SANDWICH?

Tom73
FYI. Here is a link for the UN Treasury site http://www.un.org/depts/treasury/. The 2011 Operational Rates of Exchange are on this page. This seems to be an official web page for the UN 2011 operational Rates of Exchange and appears to be working for me. Also I tried http://www.treasury.gov/Pages/default.aspx for the U.S Treasury and this appears to be the official site and It seemed to be working fine for me. moneysoon
It is good to know that all of our civil-servicemen who have been on "lock-down" for these projects have remained so tight-lipped. It would seem that somebody would put two and two together and go for the gold. I wonder if we have some of these servicemen who have joined the great race?

We are all crossing our fingers here, and praying this is the day.
