The site is a 'plain jane' HTML site. By that I mean that it has absolutely no ability to pull information (such as currency rates) from any other source.

This reminds me of another currency converter site that pops up every once in a while in the forums. That site has the value of the IQD at $3+ and has for a couple of years now. The problem with that site is the exact same as the 1-usd site - the source of the value is dictated by simple text that is uploaded by the author. It's very easily manipulated if one chooses to do so.

The question is why this site should be viewed with more legitimacy than OandA, XE, ForexPros or any other forex reporting site. Or why it should be considered more up to date and legitimate than the central banks, like Iraq and Iran, whose currencies do not match up with the sites' "text file".
