some have said that when the RV happens that 25000 dinars will only be worth 25 dinars at the time of trade in. Can anyone confirm or dispute this info. I am new to Dinar but have a lot of questions that have probably been asked in previous posts. THANKS

What you just described is a redenomination or lop.....with a RV at lets say 1 to 1 with the USD you will be able to trade your 25k dinar for 25k USD.......

That would in essence mean that roughly 4 trillion dollars of currency in circulation (float) would only be worth 4 Billion (if they LOP'd). Won't happen. The currency in circulation needs to be replaced with smaller denominations. There will still be roughly 4 trillion dollars of currency in circulation but the value of purchase power would appreciate (REVALUATION). Cash in the big bills for lots of smaller bills; that's what will happen.

Where are you getting 4 trillion in circulation from??? There is about 27 trillion.........

That would fly in the face of news that the IMF and WTO are both encouraging the IQD to grow into a world-tradable currency. Also, the IQD is gauranteed for 20 years (2023). There is effectively no danger of a further demonetization (lop) of the IQD.

You will have to get used to people using the term LOP as slang for a redenomination......

Actually it could go lower if they wanted it to. Remember it was at 4000 to 1 and has revalued to what it is currently.
