Didn't think about that. Now that you mention it, I do believe i have read articles on most of these countries announcing they are going asset backed

It is possible that they Peg the dinar to these basket of currencies (euro, Chinese yuan, Turkish lira, UAE dirham and Indian rupee).

 

There’s a lot of commercial exchange between them.

these currencies have become available to traders and the purpose of financing foreign trade, where the trader can now when he imports goods from China pay the Iraqi dinar to the Iraqi bank and through the bank the amount is paid to the Chinese company and factory in Chinese currency. ….        Go time imo

yes they are, but seem to be keeping it quite to the international community.  But not to us who read their news every day. We see where they are headed. The rate change can't be far off.

ABU DHABI, 27th February, 2024 (WAM) -- Atheer Daoud Al Ghurairi, Minister of Commerce of Iraq, has confirmed that Iraq has completed the requirements to join the World Trade Organisation (WTO) after completing economic reforms and improving the business environment.5
