REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when.  They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ... :twothumbs: RON

Mnt Goat  ...we can slowly see the fourth package of currency reforms being rolled out and long-term effects of it. This is simple economics 101 folks. Create a demand and the price of the item increases. This time we are talking RATE, the rate of the dinar. So, create the demand and people will pay what they need to pay for it. The CBI has already established a fair official rate of 1320 dinars per the dollar. They are now telling us they have matched the parallel market...Remember the value has been in the dinar all along. The value is based on assets and so when will the final global rate match the true value of the dinar? We wait for this day and its coming VERY SOON!

From Saturday Midnight

Clare  Article: "The opening of the first factory in Iraq that works with robots with international specifications" Quote: "...announced the opening of the first factory operating with robots for the production of high-performance adhesives and fluids in the construction industry,"

Frank26  Articles about worldwide leaders, their investments in Iraq, their economic explosion.  Only because of the success of the monetary reform...An article came out and said they have a quantum leap in their economic growth in Iraq.  Only because of the quantum monetary reform.  They say, follow the money, well in this case...follow the logic.  All the things that you're seeing cannot be done at a program rate...they're constantly showing the world look what we have.  Now they need to show the citizens look what you have too.  And it's coming.

CharlieOK   $.47 for the dong in 2023 is a joke. It was worth $2 plus in the 1950's. The economy of VN then and now are light years apart.

Henig  Article: "Vietnamese đồng one of most stable currencies in Asia: Experts" Quote: "Experts from VNDirect forecast that Việt Nam's foreign exchange reserves will recover to reach $102 billion by the end of this year."

Militia Man   The parallel market prompted the government to impose dealings in dinars by force by taking legal ramifications.  In other words anybody that's out there now using dollars to do trade is going to be considered a problem.

This is a huge development.   Why is it so huge?

Foreign investors are ready to take the risks of developing high tech manufacturing in Iraq.

This says Iraq has arrived.  Go RV.

Added @ 9:40 AM CDT:

Frank26   [Iraq boots-on-the-ground report] FIREFLY: They told us on TV that the new social security law and the retirement law will be activated.  It'll be activated after 90 of these laws are published in our Gazette... FRANK: Even those two things are being adjusted with a new exchange rate - IMO...

Could you provide the link/ sources where " it was worth 2+ bucks in the 1950's "?? Actually 47 cents isn't a joke if it is truly happening because it is over=10,000X increase. Wow that's a huge jump. I can live with 47 cents.

The US must fail before we see this blessing.

The powers that-be are doing everything in their power to make it happen.

Just google it..!

The VND was converted from French Piasters in 1953 (1 VND = 1 FP). The Piaster was equal to 10 French Franks, and a Frank was = 19.3 cents. So, the VND was equal to about $1.93..! :salute:RON

Thanks Ron. Wow. This is unbelievable a third world country like vietnam had a previous rate $1.93. Just wonder , how long is it going to take to return to the previous rate again?
