Paulette  Many try to compare Vietnam and Iraq when evaluating the currency.  Most of these comparisons are flawed: "...Vietnam has a very low rate and their economy is one of the fastest growing..."  This is a totally irrelevant comparison.  The rate is not the issue.  The issue is IMF Article 8 Compliance.  This allows Freedom of Movement of capital in and out of the country..[Post 1 of 2]

Paulette  Vietnam has been officially acknowledged to be Article 8 compliant, Iraq has not.  Additionally, the CBI has clearly stated their intent to implement the "Delete the Zeros" project. Vietnam has not made any such claims.  Bottom line, comparing Iraq and Vietnam due to their low currency value is like comparing Apples to Oranges..[Post 2 of 2]

 

 

Walkingstick  Bands on the float will keep it at 1-to-1 with the American dollar, but when they lift these bands the IQD will float faster and it will gain more than a 1-to-1 with the USD and all the other currencies in the basket. Pairing 1-to-1 at the onset and then as the economy of Iraq improves and grows and the education get stronger and louder and Iraqi citizens get used to using the new currency, then everything will be perfect for the Iraqi citizens.

There's an article on here about the experts telling why the IQD will not rv  and I think we will never see any movement this year and maybe many more years.

as long as Iraq can use the dollar, in and out of country, they have no need to rv....just that simple.

yes the old petro dollar is the key, remove it and USA , they created this ! yes im glad i have dinars for many many years now but truth and reality is real, ask Bush ND THE OTHERS WHO CREATED THIS, DEEP STATE CROOKS , TO MANY TO MENTION, EVEN OTHER COUNTRIES, HOPE BIDEN GOT HID PHOTO OPS TODAY AFTER THEY REMOVED ALL THE MIGRANTS, OH YES THELL BE BACK, WATCH FIRST RESPONDERS ON YOUTUBE, BEEN COMING FOR A WHILE NOW WHILE THEY OPEN THE GATES FOR THEM AND CATER TO THEM! they have been told by USD Treasury to stop using USD dollars in country when buying or selling......

Did you believe that article?? So what are you going to do with your dinar then if you think we will never see any movement?? Have you sold off your dinar yet??
