"Victorious Conclusion" speech on Tuesday

In the past couple of days both Obama and Biden made public speeches about the Iraq war. What more can Obama talk about the Iraq war on Prime Time on Tuesday??? The "Victorious Conclusion" speech will be extremely disappointing if he just repeat what he and Biden have said told the world the past couple of days. I believe the "Victorious Conclusion" must include a speech of the Iraqi economy/monetary policies/debt reduction/Chapter 7/HCL agreement/and finally the Reinstatement of the Iraqi Dinar. Otherwise Obama, please stop wasting the American's time with your PrimeTime speech.

We're all hopeful about Obama's speech. There are many people speculating that there must be a big reason for him to come on national tv - to announce the goi, lifting of ch 7, rv, etc. - but let's face it ... it wouldn't be the first time Obama has insisted on a prime time spot to talk about nothing more than how great he is. I'm cautiously optimistic, with the accent on cautious!

<_<

I completely agree with your thinking QTen.

One would think that more info should come from his 8-31-10 speech.

O has mentioned Iraq being a sovereign nation, which by definition a country with a government.

With that said, hopefully O will officially declare Iraq having a functioning government!

Tuesday shall be interesting........I am hopeful!

It was said on CNN and MSNBC that the date was changed because he wasn't able to get around the emmys. Trust me he isn't going to say anything about a RV. His speech will be released an hour or so before he gives it just like he always does. do you really think the president of the US would announce the Iraqi RV?

Guys and Gals,,, Please, lets not forget that no matter what Obama has to say, it is all relative. And subject to change. He will have several teleprompters giving him all the right rhetoric, and yet, when he is done, if it does not come out the way it was supposed to, the spin will be on and by the next day, he will have totally said something else.. There is absolutely no reason to get excited about one single thing that this individual has to say, until the day he says goodbye to the oval office. Is this my own personal opinion? Yes by all means, however, I think that I speak for many............ B)

All his is gonna do is say how HE ended the war in Iraq and the Republicans couldn't. Then he is gonna talk about how great the economy is and that all the TRILLIONS he has wasted, has helped out (BullS---). Then he is gonna start blaming Bush and all the Republicans and TeaParty peps, for all that is wrong with this country....................I mean, should we expect anything else from him?

Exactly...the only way he says anything about Iraq's political situation is if the GOI magically forms tomorrow, and if the GOI were to form he probably has that speech canned as well...otherwise he will just say that the GOI needs to form as soon as possible, again nothing new. I sincerely hope though that he did move the speech due to things behind the scenes we don't know about, if the administration has information on the GOI/RV it would not be out of the realm of possibility for a plan in place to leverage that to make the Dems look good, especially an RV/RI of the Iraqi Dinar that at least on paper rights the budgetary applecart, then that could be leveraged to make the Dems look good in the upcoming election (the current party in power that needs to be removed no matter what the Dinar/Economy does --- they would simply spend even more money...) ... JMHO

I'm glad that President Obama will address the nation about the end of the war and not an RV.

All President's would be professional in this case even President Obama....Go OBAMA.......JUst said most here is not happy to see the war over but, would rather get happy for an RV, and to think our President would be able to deciate when, when no one here can determine a RV.
