The Iranian foreign minister will travel to Muscat today, Wednesday, to hold talks with his Omani counterpart.

On Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif concluded his visit to the country, during which he met in Baghdad and Erbil the three presidencies and the regional government, as well as political and government figures, and Zarif left Erbil International Airport yesterday morning, heading to the Omani capital, Muscat.
The head of the Iranian diplomacy met yesterday evening, Tuesday, in Erbil, both of: the President of the Kurdistan region, Nechirvan Barzani, the head of the government in the region, Masrour Barzani, and the political and party leaders in the region.
Zarif stressed during the meeting of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, in Erbil, Tuesday, that his country wants to establish security and stability in the region, stressing that the existence of stability and good economic relations are in the interest of all parties.
And Zarif arrived in the capital, Baghdad, last Monday, at the start of an official visit, after it was scheduled to take place on Sunday, before announcing a one-day postponement.
