Iraq has a strong presence in the world oil field and represents an important destination for the crude markets, thanks to the large volume of proven reserves and may put it at the top of the oil countries around the globe.

Through communication with experts in this field inside and outside the country, we have an important idea of what is required at the current stage in this sector, which represents the backbone of life and its first and most important resource in Iraq.

The development of the oil sector is an imperative for the time being, in a way that does not make large oil producing fields enter the stage of aging early, because the focus on the quantities produced exclusively.

The reality of oil production is in dire need to develop production outlets and multiplicity to create a maneuver in marketing quantities exported to global markets from several fields greater than it is now, this makes the country able to secure quantities required externally and internally in all circumstances.

The development of oil fields must coincide with actual and practical plans aimed at creating Iraqi human resources in the technical (production) joint, and this is important to have Iraqi expertise in management and production able to manage all field operations, and the great benefits for the country, where we are There is no need for a large number of experts to be brought into the country in return for large financial allocations, while we can develop expertise to manage all operations.

Here, it is imperative that foreign companies operating in the country begin to train local competencies in international training centers and under the supervision of the best experts in the world, that theoretical training coincides with the practical, and start a real journey to create technical expertise capable of dealing with advanced technology in the field of oil industry in the world.

The tasks required are not impossible or complex, but need a national will to cooperate with international companies operating in Iraq to begin to actually train local competencies and involve them in specialized courses whose outputs national expertise capable of managing the production process in a way that benefits the country and expands employment Inside this field.

Iran is inevitably expelled from Iraq

The defeat of the ruling political class in Baghdad is possible, but it is only a matter of time. That is what the young protesters are determined to withstand.

It is true that the region has been besieged and that the siege can only be lifted by killing, which the armed authorities have not hesitated to do, but it is also true that Iran, the regime's patron, still possesses malicious techniques through which it will attempt to penetrate and destroy the demonstrations from within. .

The animosity between the protesters and Iran has been declared and transcended the issue of protesting the survival of the regime, which is Iran's agent inside Iraq.

The protesters were clever in dealing with that hostility.

This has irritated the Iranian regime, especially Khamenei, and made them feel they are facing a new awareness of the Iraqi issue. That consciousness was characterized by its clarity and freedom from the sectarian and ethnic dimensions. Iraqis today do not address the issue of their freedom out of ethnic or sectarian hatred, but the issue deeper and more comprehensive and broader.

For young people who took to the streets in protest, the ethnic and sectarian identity of the occupier did not concern them.

There is nothing to blame for the protesters from the ruling political class in Iraq on the level of their political discourse. They are not against the rule of the political majority, they are not against the constitutionally constrained democratic system, nor are they against establishing respectful relations of cooperation with Iraq's neighbors, including Iran.

All this means that the protesters seek to restore their homeland by freeing it from the sectarian fabrication that it placed under Iranian sovereignty. After the religious parties revealed their complete allegiance to Iran and their dependence on the jurist, the talk of a sectarian majority is no more than hypocrisy, in which Iranian hegemony is intended to be a fait accompli.

If the demonstrators from the first day were dropped from the sectarian state, they cut short the way to Iran as its official sponsor. They have broken through all the red lines to the last line, which the political class in Iraq still believes is the last block if it is threatened.

Protesters in the October Revolution went far beyond what Iraqi politicians imagined would be for the Iraqi people to reach. Today, the young uprising cannot accept government reforms or even the resignation of the government, as much as they think of ending the political system based on Iranian subordination.

Khamenei described what is happening in Iraq as a riot and knows very well that his words do not carry a grain of honesty. Perhaps he had to look for the means to negotiate with the protesters, since he was personally intent on the protests. He will be forced to do so after it is confirmed that the means to be followed by his followers will not work to extinguish the flames of Iraqi anger but will increase them.

There is no end to Iraq's sectarian system until Iran is convinced that its influence in Iraq no longer has domestic cover. This is what peaceful revolutionaries seek, who feel that the defeat of the political class is only a matter of time.

Iran will seek to save its situation in Iraq and will fail in its endeavor. This is because it is considering saving the political class to save its project. This is a mistake you will pay for in the future of its relationship with Iraq.

Rebels ignore Abdul Mahdi and Pompeo affirms the right of Iraqis to restore their country from Iran

 Wednesday 06 November 2019

Baghdad - Writings

Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi continued to defy the Iraqis and their revolution, stressing that he did not respond to their demands.

Abdul-Mahdi said his government would not respond to the demands of the demonstrators and resign without a "smooth and swift" alternative.

Abdul-Mahdi criticized the demonstrations and popular movement in most of the country's provinces, pointing out that the demonstrations seek to address the accumulations by 2003 and so far;

This is what the demonstrators in Tahrir Square responded by continuing their presence on the ground, stressing that Abdul-Mahdi does not represent them and does not concern them with statements or words.

On the other hand, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in remarks on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, that the Iraqi people want to restore their country from Iranian interference.

The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Masroor Barzani, on Wednesday, "deeply concerned" about the situation in the country, noting that Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi does not bear alone guilt.

Masroor Barzani spoke during a debate on the sidelines of the annual Middle East Research Institute (MIRI) forum. Barzani said, "We visited Baghdad at the beginning of the formation of our government to show our goodwill and brought with us proposals and the most important differences were the disputed areas and the budget and oil and gas."

"We have established committees to resolve these differences and have achieved good results. "What is happening in Iraq is very worrying, especially with the large number of casualties and we are certainly with all the legitimate demands of the demonstrators, but Abdul-Mahdi does not bear the guilt of these conditions, but the current situation is the result of accumulations over the past years."

Khamenei's defeat is the end of the Iraq tragedy

- One Hour Has Passed

%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82-5-3

Iran would prefer to get out of Iraq defeated rather than expelled.

This is what the Iraqis will pay. This is because they decided to resist the Iranian project to expand at their expense. It is a difficult choice that Iran will seek to make them pay for before it declares its surrender.

Iranian madness is no longer replaced in the Iraqi daily dictionary. In Iraq, the slogan “Iran by land” has become the symbol. It is the key to recognizing the truth. The reality of the conflict between two wills. The first is the will of a corrupt minority, which sees Iranian hegemony as a safeguard of its interests.

Clearly, there is no possible understanding between the two wills. Therefore, the hope of a settlement that could end the conflict or slow it down is a kind of mirage that annoys Iran because of its suspicion of what it had counted on when it believed that the Iraqi file had been folded in its favor and that it was able to bury historic Iraq under the rubble of the sectarian state. That owes her loyalty.

By surprise, the Iranian regime discovered that all it envisioned as a solid construction threatening the countries of the region was a mock entity and that the corrupt political class on which it relied to normalize its project in Iraq lived in complete isolation from the people it did not know.

Iran thought that it contained the Shiites of Iraq after the new regime facilitated them to practice the rituals of Husseini. But Iran has missed that the call for life lies elsewhere and that the people who wanted it as a human reservoir for the funeral processions are thinking about their lives in all its elements and aspiring to have a free and independent homeland like the rest of the world.

The Iranian regime was shocked that what they call the city of Hussein, Karbala, was the most protesting of their existence. Protesters put up a sign on the walls of the Iranian consulate there that read "It was closed by the people."

It has become clear to Iran that the Iraqi people hate it. He hates its regime, its Shiism, its project, its militias and the political system in Baghdad because it is subordinated to it and is subject to its dictates.

However, Iran, traumatized by its abhorrence, will not back down from its position, although all the facts on the Iraqi street confirm that its project has become part of the past and that Iraq is no longer part of the Persian illusion empire.

If Iran were wise, it would have negotiated with the protesters through its representatives in Baghdad and ordered them to go out and leave Iraq to its people. This is the best solution and is the only solution that will satisfy the protesters and make them return to their homes. But Khamenei, a blind and irritable ideologue, is considering his expansionist project and not the fate of his followers, who could be badly hurt by popular anger.

It will be difficult to persuade Khamenei that the people he handed over to cry, cry and walk on his knees will triumph over him in defense of his life and the resurrection of his homeland. Therefore, he will remain reckless in his decisions on Iraq until he concludes the final defeat. That defeat would be a prelude to turning the page on Iranian influence in the region.

That's what the protesters think. Which they seek to achieve. Khamenei's defeat this time would be like Khomeini's defeat in 1988 when he announced he had swallowed poison by agreeing to stop the war with the Arabs.

Iraqis revolt with shoes against Iran .. and Soleimani visits Najaf

  •
iraq-revolution.jpeg?resize=800%2C445&ss

7th November, 2019

Bandar al-Doushi is an Iraqi revolution in which he used shoes against Iran's leaders to reject hegemony and insult. In its report, Qasim Soleimani continued his interventions in Iraq through a secret visit to Najaf, and Tehran and political parties are betting on time to quell the protests.

In detail, the report says, shoes are being launched again in Iraq. In recent years, Iraqis have hit with their shoes pictures of Saddam Hussein, a sign of anger after the overthrow of the regime. In 2008, an Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at President George W. Bush at a news conference to express his anger at the US-led invasion. Demonstrators in Baghdad's Tahrir Square are now using their shoes again and slapping banners for Ali Khamenei and Qasem Soleimani, where violent demonstrations erupted in southern Iraq. The protesters burned the headquarters of parties and militias linked to Iran, and threw petrol bombs at the Iranian consulate.

These anti-government protests, which rocked Iraq last month, fuel economic grievances. Protesters have targeted political parties and militias with close ties to Tehran. The uprising in Iraq and similar anti-government protests in Lebanon pose a threat to key Iranian allies at a time when Tehran is under increasing pressure from US sanctions. "There is a lack of respect, " says Hussein Ali, 35, from Karbala, who came to Baghdad to protest. I feel that the Iranian embassy controls the government and they are suppressing the demonstrators. I want to leave Iran.”

According to the "Associated Press," the majority of the demonstrators are mainly from Shiite areas where these demonstrations undermine Iran's vision of being a leader of the Shiites, who represent a majority in Iraq and Iran. "This embarrassed Shiite leaders close to Iran," said Baghdad analyst Wathiq al-Hashemi. "After these demonstrations, Iran could lose Iraq by losing the Shiite street." In Tahrir Square, the demonstrators filmed pictures of Khamenei and Soleimani, the violently dispersed architect, who were run over by foot. The protesters also hit posters with their shoes in repetition of scenes that occurred after Saddam's overthrow 16 years ago.

Running the Iranian flag in Baghdad

The report adds that, as in many cultures, shoes are inherently degrading in Arab countries. Last week in Baghdad, a copy of the Iranian flag was painted on the sidewalk so protesters could walk on it. In Karbala, demonstrators climbed the walls of the Iranian consulate in the light of burning tires as the crowd chanted "The people want to overthrow the regime." Security forces dispersed the demonstration, killing at least three people and injuring nearly 20 people. The demonstration came less than a week after masked men suspected of links to security forces opened fire on a demonstration in Karbala, killing at least 18 people.

Lebanon and Iran's

Domination Lebanon has also witnessed massive demonstrations in recent weeks against its ruling elite, dominated by allies of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah. For the first time, protests took place in predominantly Shiite communities that are Hezbollah strongholds, but there was a different response and Lebanese security forces acted with restraint. Hezbollah and its allies expressed sympathy for the protesters' demands and called for a swift formation of a new government after Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned last week but also questioned the aspirations of the protesters, claiming that the United States and other Western powers were manipulating them to try to drag the country into civil war.

Stall for time

In Iraq, the Iraqi president said Barham Salih, a close member of Iran's Kurdish party, said he would agree to early elections as soon as the age of a new electoral law. Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, another veteran politician, also expressed support for the protesters, but urged them to reopen the roads until life returned to normal. Political leaders in Iraq and Lebanon have not made concrete proposals to meet the protesters' demands. The process of forming a new government in either country will take months, and without fundamental change, the same political factions will remain in power.

Suleimani visits Najaf

In the meantime, Iran has sought to keep its alliances intact, as Soleimani traveled to Najaf over the weekend to meet senior Shiite clerics, according to three political officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the talks. Iran's allies seem to be betting that as weeks and months pass, the public will be frustrated by road closures and other unrest in daily life, and that protests will gradually fade.

The United Nations Secretary-General's Special Representative for Iraq, Jenin Hennes-Blachart, has outraged Iraqis for talking about material losses in Iraq without mentioning the violence that has claimed dozens of lives in anti-corruption demonstrations.

"The disruption of critical infrastructure is also a serious concern. Protecting public utilities is everyone's responsibility," she said on Twitter. "Threats or road closures to oil installations are causing billions of losses," she added. "This is detrimental to the economy of Iraq and undermines the legitimate demands of the demonstrators."

Disruption of critical infrastructure also of grave concern. Responsibility of all to protect public facilities. Threats/closures of roads to oil installations, ports causing billions in losses. Detrimental to #Iraq’s economy, undermines fulfilling protesters’ legitimate demands.

Blachart's tweet was met with thousands of angry responses, ranging from the publication of videos about the oppression of Iraqis, to denouncing what she said, and some tweeting to the point of demanding her dismissal

In a previous tweet, the UN official noted the grave abuses suffered by Iraqi protesters by retweeting the report of the UNAMI Human Rights Office But her recent tweet, which made no mention of the dead and wounded in the demonstrations, focusing only on oil losses, infuriated her Twitter followers

"Mako is the homeland of Mako Oil," one tweet said

"That's right. Oil is more important than blood

"How much does Iraqi blood cost?" Asked Lubna Janabi

The number of angry responses to the UN envoy's tweet reached more than 4,000 within hours

The New York Times: The demonstrations in Iraq tore apart the myth of sectarianism

- 6 Hours Have Passed

%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%

The New York Times has addressed protests in Iraq since early October that have killed more than 275 people and injured thousands, saying it has seen a dramatic escalation despite what it described as brutal security forces' handling of protesters.

The newspaper said in an article published today that Iraqis protested at the outset against corruption and unemployment and the failure of the government to provide services, but a month after the violence of the state called for the resignation of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and a comprehensive reform of the political process in the country.

She stressed that the Iraqi government and the political elite failed to respond in an acceptable manner to the demonstrators, where protesters rejected the promise made by Iraqi President Barham Saleh to draft a new electoral law, and put an end to the current system in which the government is formed to make deals.

But the demonstrators saw these promises, which include reforming the country's election commission by bringing in independent experts as members, too few and too late, and saw them merely as cosmetic changes aimed at supporting a distorted political system.

Most of the protests take place in Baghdad and other southern cities, noting that the killing of more than 18 protesters in the city of Karbala last week shows that the predominantly Shiite provinces have not benefited from political parties that use 'Shiite identity' to gain and maintain power.

The myth of sectarianism
The protests and violent reaction by the authorities have torn apart the myth of sectarianism as a systematic principle of political power.

According to the paper, the problem lies in the political system imposed by the US-led coalition against Iraq in 2003, which founded the lie that Iraqis did not have a unified national identity and that their dominant identity was sectarian or ethnic, Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds, which isolated Christians, Yezidis and Mandaeans And other minorities in Iraq.

On the other hand, the Iraqi demonstrators, according to the newspaper - carrying the Iraqi flag and reject all other political and sectarian symbols, and filled the songs of national and enthusiastic Iraqi streets again, and the overwhelming slogan - "We want a home" - calls for an Iraq not suffering from the diseases of sectarian divisions He is manipulated by politicians, with the slogan “I will take my rights myself”.

Instead of building on the principles of citizenship after the fall of Saddam Hussein's dictatorship, Iraq's political class worked on a sectarian patronage system for political power and material gain.

In this way, the sectarian identity is enshrined as an unwritten basis for power-sharing, in which the prime minister is a Shiite, the Kurdish head of state and the Sunni speaker of parliament, reinforcing sectarian divisions and undermining electoral efficiency and legitimacy, so that government formation is closer to brokering.

Demonstrators are demanding a national government that does not depend on any outside power. The newspaper said the images from cities such as Nasiriyah, Basra and Baghdad generate a mixture of hope and fear. The protesters 'courage gives hope for change, but the brutality of the security forces' response provokes fear.

The cruelty of the Iraqi government was embodied in the recent statement that it does not know the identity of snipers who shot and killed many protesters in Baghdad, yet the Iraqi youth continue to challenge.

Sovereign state
and alerted the writer to the provinces and cities of the Sunni majority stayed away from the protests for fear of being labeled Baathism or the support of the Islamic state regulation, but some protesters have joined them now to protests in Baghdad, carrying banners expressing the solidarity of their cities.

Although economic deprivation and political collapse have led Iraqis to the streets, a sense of pride has emerged from the protests and has centered on the fundamental requirement of seeing Iraq as a sovereign state.

The permanent solution would be to tackle corruption, hold corrupt officials accountable, ensure a transparent system in forming the next government, and ensure that Iraq, which has the world's fifth largest proven oil reserves, can provide basic education and health services to all its citizens.

The author concluded that people are fed up with the current power-sharing system, that there are increasing calls for a presidential system in which the leader is responsible for the welfare and sovereignty of the state, and concluded that Iraqis are essentially demanding efficiency and accountability, so that officials do not hide behind the system

Oil rebounds on renewed hopes of US-China trade deal

17772.jpg

7th November, 2019

Oil prices rose on Thursday amid fresh hints from China that progress is being made towards a trade deal with the United States, offsetting the pressure of a huge increase in US crude inventories

By 0812 GMT, Brent crude futures were up 33 cents, or 0.5 percent, at $ 62.07 a barrel, after settling at $1.22 a barrel, or about 2 percent, on Wednesday

WTI crude futures were up 37 cents, or 0.7 percent, from the previous close to $ 56.72 a barrel. The settlement was down 88 cents, or 1.54 percent, in the previous session

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday that while Beijing and Washington had not yet agreed on the mutual elimination of some existing tariffs so that the two countries could reach a “one-stage” trade agreement, they had agreed to eliminate additional duties at different stages

That gave a positive boost to market sentiment after news that US crude oil inventories rose 7.9 million barrels last week as refiners cut production and exports fell. That figure swept analysts' forecasts for an increase of 1.5 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said Wednesday

Gasoline inventories and distillates fell 2.8 million barrels and 622,000 barrels, respectively

“The Gray Solution”… How does the US administration deal with the Iranian crisis?

- 36 Minutes Have Passed

%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%82%D9%88%D8%A8%D8%

As Iran pursues reckless actions against the peoples and governments of the region, regional and international parties, led by the United States of America, are seeking to deal with Tehran through economic sanctions.

The chants that emerged from the throats of protesters in Iraq and Lebanon against Iran revealed the growing resentment against their interventions.

The United States is seeking to impose successive sanctions on Iran to force it to sit at the negotiating table.
In fact, Iran is not in a position to maneuver or evasive, and only has to begin serious negotiations, even if it is in the context of the 12 conditions of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, before the complete collapse of its economy.

As we know, the sanctions have reduced Iran's sovereign fund balance to less than $ 100 billion. Its oil exports have also fallen below 300,000 bpd. If the situation continues like this, Iran will not be able to pay government expenditures for another year. At best, the government will not continue like this in the hope of ending the Trump presidency, as some officials, including Rouhani, have said recently.

But what has made Iran more daring to pursue aggression against regional states is Trump's domestic situation. The top three and Trump are at 50% in their favor, meaning that the American people are split in half, so the situation is very sensitive.

On the other hand, the US economy is doing well under Trump, who still enjoys strong Republican support, and unemployment has fallen to 3.5%, as it has not in decades.

Despite all these domestic achievements, Trump's foreign policy remains unclear. The US president has said he does not want to engage in international conflicts, especially in the Middle East, and has no intention of confronting Iran, and believes he is capable of making a deal. Iranians to prove he is the best maker of deals for the United States.

How did Trump dare the Iranian regime to further hostilities in the region?

On the other hand, the Republican leadership is pressing President Trump to maintain the status quo until winning the 2020 elections, so Trump has become a prisoner of his positions and a victim of his actions at the same time.

When Tehran saw these reports and polls, it concluded that Trump would not start a war with them. Therefore, the leaders of the Iranian regime became more emboldened. Pressure on the internally occupied United States on the other hand, thereby winning concessions from them or easing sanctions and at least Washington's extreme pressure.

While the Iranians were aiming to create anxiety for Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and Europeans and disrupt global oil markets, President Trump was offered many options, including the military option from his military advisers, such as General Joseph Danford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. But Treasury Secretary Mnuchin and Secretary of State Pompeo insisted that the president favors additional sanctions, maximum pressure and economic strangulation.

Thus, the situation led to a state of "no war and no peace", or what is described as a "gray solution" with the Iranian regime. But no one knows how long, and to what extent, sanctions can continue to erode the system, especially after attempts to open negotiations by French President Macron and other Europeans failed at last month's UN meetings in New York, which were met with Rouhani's determination. To lift sanctions as a precondition for negotiation.

In any case, if the two sides accept the proposal of a "gray solution", which means the continuation of the status quo, it means that Washington is pursuing a policy of changing the Iranian regime gradually and without waging war.

On the other hand, with the US election approaching, President Trump will be more preoccupied with domestic issues, and the Iranians will surely use this period to shock the world economy further to raise oil prices and may launch attacks on other potential targets in the region.

So what are the options for the Gulf states, especially Saudi Arabia and the UAE, who do not want war with Iran in a position that matches the US position? This is despite statements by Adel al-Jubeir, the Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs in New York, who stressed that what Iran has done will not remain unanswered.

In my opinion, the best option is a "gray solution," a change of the Iranian regime from within and by the people of Iran deeply resentful of 40 years of tyranny, oppression and oppression, ready to rise up against the regime.

Along with popular movement, near-daily protests, labor strikes, and regime rejection from various segments of Iranian society, the issue of marginalized and oppressed nationalities suffering deprivation, oppression, discrimination and repression will play a crucial role in crippling the regime's repressive machine if a comprehensive uprising occurs.

The United States has bases adjacent to the borders inhabited by non-Persian nationalities - Kurds, Ahwazi Arabs, Baluchis and Azeri Turks - and can provide logistical support to them in the event of any popular movements, if they so wish.

The opposition can also train groups abroad or in neighboring countries and send them home to start the uprising in national areas. Once a comprehensive civil disobedience occurs in all provinces and provinces, the intifada will expand throughout the country, and the Iranian regime will not be able to suppress it.

This is a plan of which various versions have been presented to the heads of the various US administrations during the past two decades of opposition.

On one occasion the plan was presented to the Reagan administration, but it was involved in using the same method to overthrow the Soviet Union. Under Bush HW, the plan was also presented, but he was busy getting Iraq out of Kuwait in 1991. Clinton was not interested because he focused on the reformists. He hopes to expand trade with Iran.

But George W. Bush was interested in this plan, especially during his second term, and his administration met on many occasions with leaders of opposition groups, including nationalist organizations. But the Iranian opposition was not unified at the time. In the last two White House meetings, attended by the assistant secretary of state, the president of the National Security Council and a White House official, there were sharp disagreements over choosing an alternative to the regime in Tehran, and from forces that could lead efforts to topple the regime.

For Obama, it is clear that he was completely biased towards Tehran under the influence of the Iranian lobby in Washington, where most of his advisers were working to normalize relations with the Iranian regime. His administration held about 40 meetings with Iranian lobby groups in Washington, but rejected calls from opposition leaders.

Now is the time to implement the plan as part of Washington's "gray solution" policy, where the regime in Tehran is on the verge of economic collapse. There is more will and solidarity among opposition forces, and there is a possibility of uniting them. There are also broad spectrums of opposition that agree on the need to establish a decentralized federal democratic system for internal self-determination within the borders of Iran for all components of Iranian society of various ethnic, cultural and religious diversity.

Since the regime of the velayat-e faqih is no longer an enemy not only of the Iranian people, but an enemy of all the peoples of the region, and has become a threat to security, peace and stability in the region and the world, all regional and international forces must support the Iranian people's movement in change and rid the region of a terrorist regime that believes in exporting the revolution from During the ignition of wars, sedition, feeding extremist groups and the pursuit of nuclear weapons.
