yota691
Putin: The dollar has become a tool to put pressure on the countries of the world Economy | 04:25 - 07/06/2019 BAGHDAD - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that the world economy has entered the stage of trade wars, pointing to the dollar has become a tool to pressure the countries of the world. "In fact, world trade is no longer the absolute engine of the global economy, and the new engine, which is supposed to play the role of modern technologies, is still under correction and has not started to work at full capacity," Putin said at the closing session of the St. Petersburg World Economic Forum. He pointed out that "the global economy entered the stage of trade wars, and an increasing level of protectionism, whether direct or hidden." "The current paradigm of international trade relations is in crisis despite the growth of the global economy," Putin said 3

coorslite21
The problem is the do nothing Congress of the US.........so much could be accomplished if they would just pull their asses out of their butts and work for the good of the country..... This inactivity leaves Trump to having to use resources such as the tariffs to move the country forward....... To that degree Putin is correct in his assessment... Pitcher
CL, it’s been that way for the last 2-3 Presidents. Congress is content to let the President do the heavy lifting and putting his butt on the line. Congress is there to put in their time, get a great retirement and steal as much money as they can get. It’s a real easy fix. Term limits. Make it a real honor to serve our country. 1

new york kevin
Thats why USSR went bankrupt cuz the Russian Government is so slow to respond. IE: Russia is just figuring it out that we use our currency to place pressure on certain other countries. Also its not the USA's fault that 65-70% of the countries of the world hold our currency in their reserves and or demand that trade is done with USD. While still other countries of the world, like Iran, clamor to get hold of physical notes by hook or crook.
