As any reader of the Santa Monica Observer knew last September, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has developed lung cancer. The 85 year old Supreme Court Justice had surgery as quietly as possible on December 22, 2018.

Following surgery, she has developed complications including pneumonia. Pneumonia often afflicts elderly post surgery patients in the US, since antibiotics have resulted in Multi Resistant Strains of the lung infection.

The left and the main stream media have tried to put on a brave face as Ginsburg missed three straight days of argument this week, interviewing cancer doctors to say that she would recover. They claimed that she was working in her hospital room, knowing that it was untrue.

This esteemed justice wanted to abolish the Constitution and use some other country's laws and the World court for our country. I read where a bunch of Reporters were stating how great she looked and what not......Funny, no one took a single Cell Phone Pic?

 

I find that more than a little odd in the times were everyone is holding a camera taking pic's of every stupid thing they come across.

The President should call for the Surgeon General to exam her. 

If found fit enough to work then fine.

If not, declare her unfit and replace her. 

What is going to happen is she will "hang in there" until the next election year and then quit.

Potus will attempt to fill her spot and the Dems will scream he has to wait till after the election.

They call that the lame duck presidential year......Judge Merrick Garland is very familiar with the term, as is Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg returned to the Supreme Court bench Tuesday to hear oral arguments for the first time since undergoing cancer surgery in December.

According to Supreme Court reporters, Ginsburg smiled as she arrived with her fellow justices at court, taking her seat unassisted at 10 a.m. ET. According to the court’s official transcript, she asked five questions, including the first, during the hour-long session.

Ginsburg’s public appearance came four days after former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka questioned whether 85-year-old associate justice was still alive, advancing a conspiracy theory that has been circulating in fringe circles since news of her cancer surgery broke.

On Friday, when Ginsburg returned to work at a non-public session of the court, Gorka tweeted: “How is there a ‘public’ appearance behind closed doors? Let the Games begin!”

Ginsburg had been absent from the nation’s high court since what her doctors described as successful surgery to remove two cancerous nodules from her left lung. She was discharged from the hospital on Dec. 25 and had been working while recovering at home, according to her office.

It was the first time the justice had missed oral arguments since she joined the court in 1993.

In November, Ginsburg fell and fractured three ribs, stirring speculation about her health and worry among Democrats who do not want President Trump to nominate another Supreme Court justice. That fear also fueled far-right conspiracy theories that she was actually dead, and that her political allies were covering up her death.

Earlier this month, Ginsburg was spotted in the audience at “Notorious RBG in Song” — a musical production about her life — at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.

Despite multiple witnesses who attested to her being there, conspiracy theorists refused to believe it.

On Monday, she was seen briskly walking through Reagan National Airport flanked by security and holding on to the arm of an aide in footage published by TMZ.

That her security detail didn’t allow TMZ’s camera to get too close was enough for RBG truthers to latch onto.

“Is this actually Ruth Bader Ginsburg or an impostor?” one poster wrote on Twitter. “Strange secret service doesn’t allow camera close enough to see face, posture looks different & wearing heels. Voice sounds different.”

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was caught on video walking through Reagan International Airport on Monday.

The frail justice was helped through the airport by a female assistant.

This is the first time Justice Ginsburg was caught on camera since her December cancer surgery.

Ginsburg’s doctors have indicated that there is no evidence of remaining disease following the surgery.

She a freaking Supreme Court Justice who hasn't been seen since being in the hospital for Pneumonia.

Because of her position alone she should make her well being WELL KNOWN.

A whole post was created in large red pronounced letters exclaiming the "BREAKING" news that RBG was being helped through the airport.  Why not just say, RBG was sighted at the airport?
