However .... A Kurdish delegation, headed by KRG Deputy Prime Minster Qubad Taliban, is currently in USA in order to meet with the US officials and discuss the current political, security and financial crisis faced by Erbil. According to KRG’s Department of Foreign Affairs, the delegation has so far met with officials from the US State Department including Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights Sarah Sewall, Assistant Secretary of Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Anne Richard, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Iraq Joseph Pennington, Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom David Saperstein, and Special Advisor for Religious Minorities in the Near East and South and Central Asia Knox Thames. In a daily press briefing on April 12, the US State Department Spokesperson Mark Toner confirmed that the Kurdish delegation is scheduled to meet with the Administration officials “to discuss the economic crisis faced by the Iraqi Kurdistan Region as well as humanitarian assistance and, of course, overall US support for the fight against Daesh [Islamic State].” Regarding Secretary of State John Kerry’s recent trip to Iraq without visiting the Kurdistan Region capital Erbil, Toner made it clear that the Secretary did not intend to send “any signal to the Kurdistan Region” by not visiting Erbil. “We’ve been very supportive of their efforts to combat Daesh [IS]. They have played an absolutely vital role, in fact, within the overall Iraqi command and control structure in pushing Daesh out of the key parts of the country,” Toner stressed out. He also emphasised that the US Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter IS, Brett McGurk, remained in Erbil after Kerry’s trip and met with Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani afterwards. “So we’re fully focused on the Kurdistan Region. We’re committed to help them as much as we can in providing the assistance we can.” Tonner Finally confirmed that Washington is “always looking at ways we can provide more support.”

Tonygrasso
I have a feeling that the billion notes is representing 11,600,000,000.00 dollars worth of dinar. Otherwise each note averages a value of 11.6 dinars. At 11.6 billion dollars each note averages 11.6 dollars or approximately 10-12000 dinar. Seems a lot more reasonable to me. I do not believe for a second that there is only 9.5 million dollars of dinar in circ. Within that country. Not possible
