Posted per request of several members. Dinar coins 100, 50, and 25 dinar coins:

There are also 10, 5 and 1 Dinars coins! It's all part of the RV plan. Why would Iraq advertize their plan? These are the denominations I saw on the back of Warka's ledger sheet at my local branch.

Can you send a link to the Warka site that offers these coins? It's not on the CBI coin site ... see link here

None of these coins are of legal tender right now.....until the CBI releases them out again it makes no difference that your able to get them....the CBI let them out in 2004 and then retracted them all realizing they are useless to have out especially in the market place because they have no purchasing power....when we see the release of these along with the other smaller denomination coins and bills from the CBI then we will be much closer to what we all have been waiting for but as of now they are not part of the Iraqi currency....

I'm confused, there is a 50 Dinar note and a 25 and 100 dinar coin that says ( not in circulation ) on the CBI site. Where is a 50 dinar coin?

Its because they are not of legal tender!!! They are not being used because they serve no purpose! what they are getting are previous older releases of those coins which were givin out a short period of time in 2004 then stopped because they realized they were worthless and are still to this day!

You are correct. I bought mine so I could have a complete set of all new dinar post 2004 and have made a frame for them just as something to do. I would not suggest anyone make purchases of these until they are formally reintroduced into the market.

so if they reintroduce coins, there will probably be articles regarding this when it happens

yes and they would be putting out the smaller denom bills at the same time....we just have to be patient....only time will tell!!! but we will def know when this happens...it will be all over the place! GO RV!!!

They have been legal at some point in time. I have a bag of the 50 dinar coins which has been circulated. I bought them from a service man that had spent some time over there.

Yes, keywords you used were "at some point in time"......not currently though....thats why if you check CBI website all coins are labeled as uncirculated, because they arent official legal tender anymore....they were for short period of time in 2004, then retracted.....

sidewinder....you from north carolina?? just curious.....GO PANTHERS!!! ya dig?!?!

"Some point in time" Thats true. I had no idea of the history on these coins. I received them in a bulk lot of dinar that i bought from this guy. I did know that they were the newer coins, and by the looks of them they are obviously circulated.

Yes North Carolina here. Right in the center of the state. Asheboro, NC. Little over an hour northeast of Charlotte. Oh Yea.....I dig GO PANTHERS!!!!!

I purchased all 3 denominations to make jewlry out of when it rv's. We will have a family party and i will hand them out to all the believers! They are cool looking coins all of my 300 are uncirculated and i got them on e bay. They are going for 2.00 a coin now. But it is just one of those e bay things they are not being used at this time. I got mine for $18.00 per 50 and that was insane!
