At the risk of even more bodily harm from my" better half" who does not believe in any of this, I am going to broach a subject even MORE hazardous than the IQD. That is the VND. I know many of you out there are also invested in it as I am ( much to the consternation of my wife) Not too much has been posted in regards to it, so I am asking what your thoughts are on this? Is it really tied in the with r/v as some have proposed? Is there such a thing as this so called "basket of currencies"? Any thoughts, ideas of rates, time frames etc is what I am interested in. A lot has changed there since I was a visitor in the southeast Asian War games 40+ years ago. At that time their currency was known as the Piaster.

Let's hear your thoughts! Let it begin. Loose the hounds.

Me too, for about the same price. Heck, the way I look at it, it was about the same as a fairly decent couples dinner out on the town for the evening. So if nothing ever happens, not a big deal, or if it does, willing to wait until whenever.

You have been going and going on the subjects of IQD and VND like the energizer bunny :)  I can tell you are thinking and thinking deep :)  VND is tradable currency and if it were to rv, I think they will do it alone without being pegged to IQD.  You can go crazy and buy all those currencies that gurus/people out there are saying that will rv. Just like you said in your other thread.. we need to use wisdom and follow the intuitive of what to do and buy. Some people buy IQD and VND.  I don't see any correlation between dinar and dong but I guess people like to speculate with dinar and play with dong :)

having a blast reading all these comments about your Dongs.....I too have a lot, but don't tell anyone you have 2. mil Dongs laying around your home, just in case they rise-up...

then it will be like the sea cucumber.. and we can cook them lol
