October Surprise Fail

Well I would say the lies that constantly spew out of his mouth would lead me to believe he is not a man of integrity. If you feel that a man of intergrity can lie to cover his rear for the decisions he does or doen not make that would cost him the election...then that is your personal opinion.

Do you realize I was asking about Romney?

Of course I believe in equal pay if you perform your job up to par..

Thx Bama, I also believe in equal pay for women and anyone doing the job.

Thats 2 min and 43 sec Maggie wink.gif

Well, have a good night

Doe ohmy.gif Well I said I was tired... dry.gif

I watched the 2:43 minute video... I didn't see a "Fall Surprise" there anymore than I saw a deal breaker from "The Donald".

It didn't even show who that Issa guy was questioning? Who is in charge of budget cuts for security anyway? Congress?

Isn't he the guy who released all those documents in his zealousness to promote his agenda... including emails from Libyans that work with our government?

In his hurry to do that... I believe I read he forgot to take their names off before he made them public, putting those people in possible danger.

The murder of our good people was a horrible tragedy and yes it was an act of terrorism ... no brainer. Just a bunch of mincing words. IMHO

It should not be used in any way whatsoever to take political shots for political gain... I really feel for those families having to endure this crap on top of everything else.

And You Feel This Shows INTEGRITY???

PS. Google Darrell Issa... He is just a fountain of integrity.

simple-Sorry I did misunderstand those questions. My support of Romney comes from my extensive research on what he has accomplished in his state, and the printed literature provided to us by the different independent business associations we are members of. This is the first time I have ever been involved in supporting a candidate, except to show up and vote for the candidate. Even though I am a republican, I have voted for democrats in the past if I felt they stood for the morals and standards I had for them. In no way do I think Mitt is the perfect candidate, but he does line up with my idea of what we need to take America back in so many more ways than our current president does.

Just to make it plain...I will never vote for a candidate that does not believe in tradional marriage, Pro Life, and our right to bear arms. So unfortunately Obama loses on all of those counts!

The Donald thing was silly Imo, but does help to illustrate the

secretiveness of O'blah

It didn't even show who that Issa guy was questioning? Who is in charge of budget cuts for security anyway? Congress?

There were no budget cuts for security, Dept of State has plenty

of money, so thats off the table

Isn't he the guy who released all those documents in his zealousness to promote his agenda... including emails from Libyans that work with our government?

Nothing was 'released'....Everything Issa put

out there was public information

The murder of our good people was a horrible tragedy and yes it was an act of terrorism ... no brainer. Just a bunch of mincing words. IMHO

Why does the Administration keep changing the story then?

It should not be used in any way whatsoever to take political shots for political gain... I really feel for those families having to endure this crap on top of everything else.

The Democrats have been crowing about their ability to

kill terrorists.....I guess thats not political in any way

On the part of Obama? Certainly not

HH... wish I had some pluses for you today!! (I should be due for a refill soon, lol)

NP Bama-you get a lot of my pluses all the time. You would have loved the rally last night. I think one of the most touching things of the whole evening was when a local barbershop group came to sing The Star Spangled Banner. I had two very eldery gentlemen sitting next do me. Both had hearing aids, and one had some vision problems that were fairly noticable. Both were using canes. When the chords of that song started, they both came to their feet, took off their hats, and saluted the flag during the entire song. When the song was done, they asked all vets to raise their hands, and their hands proudly went into the air. I turned to each one and told him "thank you for serving." They both seemed very touched by just those simple words. I know I had tears in my eyes after we spoke. That is the kind of America I want back.

Now that's a simple and complete response I can appreciate. I can say that Romney has stated over turning RvW and allowing states to manage at their level. Is that Pro Life or Pro Choice or just not wanting to lead?

Right to bear arms - Nothing showing Obama has anything against the Second Amendment. In fact he supports the Second Amendment.

Again, thx for your reply.

That may be very telling as to the spin put in this video. Usually it is a "Given" to know who was on the other side of the question's.

EXCLUSIVE: CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up

during the attack on the U.S. Consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by U.S. officials -- who also told the CIA

operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. Consulate where Ambassador

Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them

what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar

with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."

Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the Consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged.

The quick reaction force from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the Consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack.

They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied.

There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their

headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA

compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is

commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The

fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours -- enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive.

Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

Watch "Special Report Investigates: Death and Deceit in Benghazi" on Fox News at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, 3 p.m. on Sunday and 10 p.m. on Sunday.

A Special Operations team, or CIF which stands for Commanders in Extremis Force, operating in Central Europe had been moved to Sigonella, Italy,

but they too were told to stand down. A second force that specializes in counterterrorism rescues was on hand at Sigonella, according to senior

military and intelligence sources. According to those sources, they could have flown to Benghazi in less than two hours. They were the same

distance to Benghazi as those that were sent from Tripoli. Specter gunships are commonly used by the Special Operations community to provide

close air support.

According to sources on the ground during the attack, the special operator on the roof of the CIA annex had visual contact and a laser pointing

at the Libyan mortar team that was targeting the CIA annex. The operators were calling in coordinates of where the Libyan forces were firing from.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told reporters at the Pentagon on Thursday that there was not a clear enough picture of what was occurring on

the ground in Benghazi to send help.

"There's a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on here," Panetta said Thursday. "But the basic principle here ... is that you don't deploy

forces into harm's way without knowing what's going on."

U.S. officials argue that there was a period of several hours when the fighting stopped before the mortars were fired at the annex, leading

officials to believe the attack was over.

Fox News has learned that there were two military surveillance drones redirected to Benghazi shortly after the attack on the Consulate began.

They were already in the vicinity. The second surveillance craft was sent to relieve the first drone, perhaps due to fuel issues. Both were capable

of sending real time visuals back to U.S. officials in Washington, D.C. Any U.S. official or agency with the proper clearance, including the

White House Situation Room, State Department, CIA, Pentagon and others, could call up that video in real time on their computers.

Tyrone Woods was later joined at the scene by fellow former Navy SEAL Glen Doherty, who was sent in from Tripoli as part of a Global Response

Staff or GRS that provides security to CIA case officers and provides countersurveillance and surveillance protection. They were killed by a mortar

shell at 4 a.m. Libyan time, nearly seven hours after the attack on the Consulate began -- a window that represented more than enough time for

the U.S. military to send back-up from nearby bases in Europe, according to sources familiar with Special Operations. Four mortars were fired

at the annex. The first one struck outside the annex. Three more hit the annex.

A motorcade of dozens of Libyan vehicles, some mounted with 50 caliber machine guns, belonging to the February 17th Brigades, a Libyan militia

which is friendly to the U.S., finally showed up at the CIA annex at approximately 3 a.m. An American Quick Reaction Force sent from Tripoli had

arrived at the Benghazi airport at 2 a.m. (four hours after the initial attack on the Consulate) and was delayed for 45 minutes at the airport because

they could not at first get transportation, allegedly due to confusion among Libyan militias who were supposed to escort them to the annex,

according to Benghazi sources.

The American special operators, Woods, Doherty and at least two others were part of the Global Response Staff, a CIA element, based at the

CIA annex and were protecting CIA operators who were part of a mission to track and repurchase arms in Benghazi that had proliferated in the

wake of Muammar Qaddafi's fall. Part of their mission was to find the more than 20,000 missing MANPADS, or shoulder-held missiles capable

of bringing down a commercial aircraft. According to a source on the ground at the time of the attack, the team inside the CIA annex had captured

three Libyan attackers and was forced to hand them over to the Libyans. U.S. officials do not know what happened to those three attackers and

whether they were released by the Libyan forces.

Fox News has also learned that Stevens was in Benghazi that day to be present at the opening of an English-language school being started by

the Libyan farmer who helped save an American pilot who had been shot down by pro-Qaddafi forces during the initial war to overthrow the regime.

That farmer saved the life of the American pilot and the Ambassador wanted to be present to launch the Libyan rescuer's new school.

We have to find out WHO denied the help! WHO did not make the decision to move quicker! Where is the failure? We can't just blame everyone when someone had a job to respond!

SOMEONE HAS TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE!

And prosecuted....Of course, if they would like to turn

States Evidence against the ones calling the shots (micromanaging)

Im good with that.

Who has the final say on any decision pertaining to a terrorist attack on an American?

Just a question?

It seems every Dept was in the loop on this....From the CIA & Dept of Defence,

to the State Dept & the Whitehouse.....So, who is in charge?

Yep....The Whitehouse....Passing the buck isnt going to work, delegating responsibility

isnt a reason, its an excuse......Besides, Obama has already said he takes full

responsibility...Perhaps he doesnt understand the meaning of those words.

We don't know the chain of command in the area. There are people in charge and I'd like to know how that person came to his delayed decisions. I believe they have to be concerned with placing troops in harms way - but did it really take that long to assess the situation?

From a friend on another forum....

Father of Slain SEAL: Who Made the Decision Not to Save My Son?

On meeting Obama: “Could not look me in the eye … like shaking hands with a dead fish.”

6:18 PM, OCT 25, 2012 • BY DANIEL HALPER

Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, reveals details of meeting Barack Obama and Hillarious Clinton at the publically broadcast memorial service for the slain Americans at Andrews Air Force Base only days after the attack. And, in a recent radio appearance, Woods publicly questions who made the call not to send in back-up forces to possibly save his son’s life, as well as the three other Americans killed in Benghazi (which includes the American ambassador to Libya).

“When [Obama] came over to our little area” at Andrew Air Force Base, says Woods, “he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that your son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Woods says that shaking President Obama’s hands at his son’s memorial service was “like shaking hands with a dead fish.”

“It just didn’t feel right,” he says of his encounter with the commander in chief. “And now that it’s coming out that apparently the White House situation room was watching our people die in real time, as this was happening,” Woods says, he wants answers on what happened—and why there was no apparent effort to save his son’s life.

“Well, this is what Hillarious did,” Woods continues. “She came over and, you know, did the same thing—separately came over and talked with me. I gave her a hug, shook her hand. And she did not appear to be one bit sincere—at all. And you know, she mentioned that the thing about, we’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video. That was the first time I had even heard about anything like that.”

Woods continues: “Apparently even the State Department had a live stream and was aware of their calls for help. My son wasn’t even there. He was at a safe house about a mile away. He got the distress call; he heard them crying for help; that’s why he and Glen risked their lives to go that extra mile just to take care of the situation. And I’m sure that wasn’t the only one received that distress call—you know, come save our lives … I’m sure that other people in the military, in the State Department, in the White House, received that same call that he would receive. And I’m sure that most military people would jump at the chance … to protect that life [and] not leave anyone behind.”

Woods says he was told by military officials that the military could have "come above [the area] and completely carpeted area," and therefore saved the officials in Benghazi, Libya. But that someone gave the command for the American military not to save the lives of the Americans under attack.

"When I heard, you know, that there's a very good chance that the White House as well as other members of the military knew what was going on and obviously someone had to say, don't go rescue them. Because every person in the military--their first response [would be], we're going to go rescue them. We need to find out who it was that gave that command--do not rescue them."

It's BS thinking like this that has caused over 6 million laws today. You need to define freedom of speech? What about the word freedom do you not comprehend? Look it up in the dictionary. As far as speaking lies by putting out false rumors there are lots of laws in place for that. It's called slander and libel. You can say ANYTHING you want to say. That IS freedom of speech. But IF you make false statements about someone that someone has recourse for anything you say about them that is not true. You don't need more BS laws when laws already exist to deal with what you are talking about. We need LESS laws, not more. Over 90% of the laws on the books today need to be repealed!

I could not agree more. Maybe for every new law passed the legislature should be required to weed out 10 old useless and bad laws.....that would slow them down! ;)

Rod and Staff-I hope we can change that slogan "in the near future." LOL! We had the privilige of attending Mitts rally in Defiance, OH last night. I believe there were about 12,000 of us there. Many of us small business owners. It is all over Yahoo that Meatloaf made a surprise appearance, and gave a wonderful speach about Mitt being able to lead this country through the storms. I am not a fan of his music, but could tell he was totally committed to getting Mitt elected. Randy Owen of Alabama and Big n Rich also rocked the stadium. I just cannot explain how Mitt came across. 100% a gentleman, and 125% ready and able to be our next President. I got chills when a local Pastor came out to open the rally with a very Godly prayer for our nation. At the end of his prayer he said....and all the people said.."Amen.....and almost all the crowd echoed it. Wow....bet that is something that will not happen when O has his rally's in Ohio.

It would be so nice to be able say we have a man of integrity as our Commander and Chief once again!

Sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing. :)
