Iraq: a fine of 10 thousand on smoking in public places

House of Representatives voted, during its Chapter 17 of the second legislative year of the second legislative bill banning smoking in public places and government institutions.

According to a source press, "the House of Representatives voted during their session of the 17 of the second legislative term of the year the second legislative held, attended by 223 MPs on the draft law to combat smoking." He said the law provides for banning smoking in public places and government institutions, and impose a fine of ten thousand dinars to the offending

The Presidency of the Council of Representatives rose, last Thursday, the parliament session 17 of the second legislative term of the second legislative year to the day, after the vote on three bills, and postponed the vote on the legal residence of foreigners and to prevent the spread of weapons.

there's no ban on smoking in public here in the UK but there is a ban on smoking in every building or workplace think the fine is £50 ($80) for the offender and £2,500 ($4,000) for the owner of the premises .... you can also be charged £80 ($126.50) for dropping a cigarette butt on the ground.
