1.) EagleEye, a true prophet of GOD will always be right. I would love to know who and what books. 2.) I could not agree more. It really started downhill with the current president and will continue until this nation gets on its knees, gets right with GOD and asks him for forgiveness. I am sure some have seen the nine stages of a civilization. The average age of the greatest civilizations in the world is around 200 years. This Great Nation will be 240 years next month. How far can it go on its present course? 1 from bondage to spiritual faith 2 from spiritual faith to great courage 3 from courage to liberty 4 from liberty to abundance 5 from abundance to selfishness 6 from selfishness to complacency 7 from complacence to apathy 8 from apathy to dependence 9 from dependency back again into bondage I firmly believe we are at stage 8. When more than half of the nation depends on the government for some type of welfare, you can truly say we are at dependency. There is only one stage left, and that is bondage. I could very easily see either one of these candidates taking this nation down that road.

Oh idplzr, I wasn't offended... Never even thought of it that way. That's why the smiley faces on it. I do believe Arizona has the same attitude. That debate comes up every year and really gets big every Legislative session when we have things going on like we do right now. For the last four legislative sessions I believe at least one State Rep has tried to introduce a bill to secede from the union. Will it happen? I don't think so, not in my lifetime. Things will have to get a whole lot worse than they are now, and if they get that bad, well, we have a whole more to worry about then splitting from the union. Still, it does make most Texans feel good to know that we were a country of our own at one time and could easily go back to it. Now, Will the Kurds split from Iraq? I agree with you, as long as they get their money and get treated right, I think they will stay. But if they don't I can see them splitting real fast. Oh, I evened you out. I didn't neg you there and I don't know why someone would have.

Greg, No worries here buddy. I for one do appreciate your effort to bring this to us. I also understand how info is relayed and things get lost or changed in translation. I hope most of the new ones here understand as well. Greg is right, take it with a grain of salt, sift through it with all of the other news/info presented by Yota and the others. Divemaster, you are so right. We did have it good back then. Lets not forget leaving the doors opened and unlocked with just a screen door when going to the store. You didn't have to worry about being burglarized. Neighbors looked out for one another. Times have really changed. I pray that some day we get back to the Good Ole Days.
