http://gunssavelives.net/blog/new-android-app-tracks-gun-owners-addresses-displays-info-to-all-users/ There’s a new app in the Android Marketplace, and it may be exposing the fact that you’re a gun owner to the entire world. University of California San Diego lecturer Brett Stalbaum has released an app to the Android Marketplace which encourages users to mark, on a map, the location of “irresponsible gun owners.” Yep, the app’s entire purpose is to document and map the personal addresses of people who own guns. The “irresponsible” part of that is completely at the discretion of the person making the posting. Not sure how this is much different than an app that allows marking the location of citizens by their political affiliation, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation, but apparently because it involves guns, it’s OK. According to the “marking guidelines” for the app …unlocked, loaded or carelessly stored weapons should generally be treated with concern by friends, neighbors and visitors. The locations of such careless owners should probably be marked so that others can make an informed decision. People who add their neighbor’s address to the app are protected by anonymity. So apparently you can exercise your First Amendment rights anonymously, but not your Second. The maker of the app understands there are concerns in regards to the app, and they have opened up a phone line to take feedback from the general population. That number is (225) 267-7346. If you’d like to express your displeasure in the app, I’d encourage you to do so politely and clearly, indicating that the app is a gross invasion of privacy. The app, called “Gun Geo Marker” is available in the Google Play App Store. You can visit the official Google Play page for the app here.

Well, the 15th is Monday, so it's not too far away. Missed Mr KK's birthday by 6 days, but I guess he can have a late "gift of a lifetime"! KK

Reported on CNN in Australia that Iraq Rv’d their currency
KiaKaha replied to ronscarpa's topic in Dinar Rumors
It's called "Dinar Rumors" for a reason. Seriously, if people don't want to read this kind of stuff, it's really quite simple... DON'T READ THE RUMOR FORUM!!! Sorry... long day, big headache, no patience left. Don't mean to come off as mean or rude, just really get tired of people complaining about the rumors that get posted in the rumors section. KK -

We have a few members from Australia... I'm fairly certain they would have reported it to us if it were true. KK -
Ok, two camps

Can I come to Bama's camp? I have graham crackers and Nutella (can't stand Hershey's chocolate) and Marshmallow Fluff - cuz I cheat... KK -
Not sure why someone negged the messenger rather than complain openly about the message... +1, TBomb... Thanks for sharing... KK

I believe him.. after all, he said "all of a sudden" rather than "all of the sudden"... therefore it MUST be true! KK Rearranging my mouth to pull my tongue out of my cheek...

Welcome back, Dr. B! Nice to read your thoughts again. KK

I was talking about countries and corporations, not as an individual, Rebel, but thanks so much for giving your opinion, and in such a polite manner... Hope tomorrow's a better day for you... KK

Very cool! User friendly, clean, and free! I'll have Mr KK check it out, see if he has any suggestions. Oh, it did take me a sec to figure out that you had No Cal and So Cal separated... may have been easier to have California then a split to see No Cal or So Cal... but I'm blonde, so... ya know what they say... KK Hubby said cool, no suggestions. LOL KK Edit: Maybe a tab for other locations on all of the pages, tried to get to So Cal from Roll Tide, had to go back to AZ... minor, but still...

The advantage to them would be not to tick off the rest of the world! A lot of big players are either invested or waiting to invest there, if they screw everybody, they will fail globally. At least, that's MY take on it... KK

Oh, how sad and horrifying to watch... praying for peace for everyone involved... victims, family and witnesses. KK

I can't help but wonder how many people will cash out as soon as it rvs and how many will wait for a higher rate. I mean, what if it DOES come out at a dime? It'll go up eventually, but how many people are in a position or willing to wait for an increase? I guess it depends on how much you hold, if it's a low rate but you have megamillions, you likely wouldn't be as concerned as those who have a million or less. KK

Thanks, Uneek... I don't dread waiting in lines, unlike some people. I actually came pretty close to confronting someone once that was openly irritated at the employee that had no control over the line and was apologizing to everyone. This woman walked in and got really belligerent. I got served first and told the employee very loudly "Thank you for doing your best under short-handed circumstances... don't let the turkey's get you down!" then glanced over my shoulder as I walked out. Patty, be careful what you pray for... when I prayed for patience, things got worse!!! KK, patiently waiting
