I spent more on dinner than the $50 it cost to become a VIP (and we know where that ended up). Personally I hope no one else joins VIP, as then we will have fewer people to service and share Adam and his advisors with (no offense Adam). On the + side ANY one single bit of advise I have read has potentially saved me THOUSANDS! I think I am a pretty smart guy, and done better than most in life (prior to 8/2008). I had what I thought were VERY GOOD strategies (and they are, and will indeed work), BUT Adam has demonstrated to my satisfaction many flaws in my plans. SAVED ME A PANT-LOAD! Adam does not ask for my D's, nor even accept (or sell) them. Based upon my experience thus far I have every reason to believe the money I save on the cash-in spread alone would not only pay for my initial VIP membership [$50] but could easily buy me an extra HOUSE! Do what you will, and be VERY HAPPY! If you don't join VIP please don't ask, look at, or try to learn what we paid at cash-in rates, what we are up to, how good we have done...it will only make you feel bad if you learn. My guess is you took a risk on buying D's (we all have), and now you have an opportunity to buy into valuable advise beyond your imagination for less than the cost of 15 minutes of a financial planners time. I am not going to make lite of the $50, that is a lot of money for someone who has not had a paycheck for months or is trying to feed their-self or family for $50 as week. If that is indeed your situation, God bless you, and do what you can, the RV is going to happen and in any case you should be in a much better situation VIP or not. JMO Congrats! I would rather split with the US gov (not that it will be that big of a hit) than go to to Iraq. At least I could sleep VERY WELL at home that night! (and the next, and the next...)

I hope today [sunday] is the day we finally get the ministers seated and the RV! I have more trouble believing the "Bank Meetings". It is not like they will start cashing in D's within hours of RV. They all probably have a plan of sorts in place, and it will only take a day or so to implement the plan. GO RV TODAY!

I have seen the argument made for $3.86. It would be good financially and psychologically. That number is based upon the former value of $3.22 + $0.64 = $3.86 (20% allowed for inflation by the UN). I am not certain that is 100% accurate, and the argument can also be made that it was artificially high before. I like the numbers (who wouldn't), and it would be a huge boost to the economy there, here, and globally. Perhaps equally (or more) important in Iraq would be the psychological aspect that they have returned to where the were before the war. If the US is hoping to promote Iraq as the "New" model for the ME (particularly with all of the current unrest) then it is in our best interest that the RV is in this range [$3.86]. IF we want to keep Iran out of Iraq we have to maintain a strong country and presence. A strong RV is good for US! The other good/supportive news it that Iraq also has the natural resources to support this valuation. (True, they do not currently have the production, but it is growing). JMO

I agree about becoming self-educated on finance, it makes for a good future. You might find it interesting to research and check-out why Hawai'i is not actually a state. Nice rants and follow-ups. Just keep in mind, as frustrated as we are, at least we had money to invest (not like most locals suffering in Iraq). I am more confident in RV than I am in our current US administration for helping the US out of our problems. WE patriots will rebuild our economy.

When I read that last night I thought "What kind of background does she have in Economics or even banking"? Simply a "Power Trip".

I understand the thought/sentiment behind this, BUT I would not find it hard to believe that CBI would not have it posted on their website yet. This could plausibly take place to allow things in-country to start happening before they "open-the-gates" to the whole world as to what is happening. I do agree that once RV happens we will all know about it in minutes, so we should just go on with our lives. I know that I will get a text from Adam once the RV has taken place, and then I can start putting some of the plans I have made into play. If you know anyone who wants to rent a furnished VACATION house with pool, dock, boat, car (and safe) for a while I know where one will be available post RV.
