This is old news. TD stopped selling a couple of months ago. You forgot to factor in the bank spread when you cash in. If they LOP and RV @ 1:1 then with all things considered you'd be even (depending on what you paid for your IQD) or you'd be down a couple of dollars.

I havent seen any Dinar dealers selling these yet. Also there are not that many folks on ebay selling the coins as compared to notes. Any thoughts?

According to the cbi website, there are 25 & 100 dinar coins but both are NOT in circulation.

Well if that's the case it appears to be bad news in that they will not RV. If they mint coins for vending machines etc, and the coins are going to be 500 & 1,000...it would seem like they have no intention of raising the value of the currency.

Why bother making 500 & 1k coins...they already have notes that size
