  1. Post by Tiffany23 http://en.wikipedia....l_homicide_rateSorry'>http://en.wikipedia....l_homicide_rateSorry to rain on the parade....but the majority of countries that practice Islam are less violent than the US...don't believe me...go to the above website. A quick glance proves that only Indonesia and Pakistan have higher homicide rates than the US...while countries like Syria, Malaysia, Jordan and Egypt ...traditional Islam countries..are much lower. Don't you hate it when the facts disprove your bias! I for one don't paint everyone with the same brush. In my journeys I have found those that follow Islam to be some of the kindest people I've ever meant. Please at least get to know someone before you decide to hate them...if you don't personally know someone from another faith, how can you judge them from afar?Oh..and before you state that Islam has all the terrorist, what about the recent blond hair blue eyed Christian that took out 100 people in Sweden...or anyone remember the Oklahoma bomber? The world is full of NUTS...and they aren't all practicing Islam....come on guys...your better than this. Americans pride themselves on being fair minded...please live up to those standards) (Post by Tiffany23 http://en.wikipedia....l_homicide_rate Tiffany23, I agree with you. Just because one is a Muslim or practice the Islam faith doesn't mean they are evil. I believe in religious freedom here in America. Having said that, I DO NOT believe in jahad or the radical Islamic war on us 'infidels' either! I stand proudly and I hope I would show as much courage as Ann Barnhardt has shown against those that are deluded into thinking heaven only receives those that hate, kill, and destroy. Read more:
  2. Thank you Carrello. I am very grateful, sincerely. I am just so heartbroken about the state this great nation is in right now and I am not sure what I can do to help. It frustates me endlessly! So, If I am blessed with any financial benefit from Iraq, I hope that I can help to make a difference somehow, someway.
  3. President Obama said by January 1st the US will be building ties of trade and commerce with Iraq as two sovereign nations. Wouldn't Iraq's currency have to be internationally recognized? Yes indeed, we are seeing history being made before our very eyes. Perhaps finally, for all of us that had the hope, the prayer, and the vision, we will see our investment realized!!!! Yeah!! Also in this post, I couldn't let this opportunity go by without speaking out (cause it's just bursting out of me). As Obama started this press release, the very first point he made was, by pulling all of our troops out of Iraq, he presented this as fulfilling a campaign promise as our President. Jeez!! If all of the sudden, the sky rained gold coins he would say this was fulfilling another campaign promise. This is such a blatant ploy for his bid for re-election. Couldn't he be a little more humble and subtle? Nah!!! I guess not. I need to stop watching the news, our govenment is a stumbling, bumbling caricature of incompetence and all I do is yell at the TV! :~)
  4. Tonight on the nightly Gimme Shelter Radio, Phoenix announced he will be cutting back his radio show to Wednesday nights only. Unfortunately, among his new topics, he will not be talking much about Iraq and the upcoming RV on the new revised schedule. Lakehouse (Going Global - East Meets West) will not be gathering and posting articles either. I enjoyed listening to his broadcasts because he spoke primarily from actual news articles and helped me put things in perspective. No dates and rates, no rumors. However, he does claim the 'sky is falling', and that we are on high alert regarding geological and celestial upheavals. That's always intriguing, and I follow it with some reservations, none the less, I will miss a Iraqi Dinar voice of reason in the night. My thanks to Phoenix and Lakehouse.
  5. Today was a good day for this thread to be in here, I needed it! I had a dream just recently: I was sitting at the bedside of an elderly woman that was dying. I don't know who the woman was but as I sat there I could hear her labored breathing and I knew she was very close to dying. At that point, she started shaking and then I saw a shape of light rise up from her. As that shape rose, there was a lovely breeze that enveloped the room. I had at this time moved to the other side of the bed and as I kneeled there, all of a sudden there was a very bright light that came toward my face and I heard the words " I SEE YOU". I felt love and awe at that second and knew that I had been touched by something so wonderful! I said "I love you too, Grandma" and then I woke up crying. I have had 2 other similar dreams over the years and they were equally as beautiful. I am blessed. I don't know what the immediate future holds for us. As families, as American citizens, but I am feeling a little grief that what I have known in my lifetime is and has been shifting away ever so subtly. I hope we can turn things around before it is too late :~)
  6. A correction: John Wayne Gacy was from Chicago, Illinois, not Iowa. John Wayne the actor, was from Winterset, Iowa. (Just in case you really didn't know the difference)
  7. No, I have never posted anywhere else! I am new and just learning! (I am not even sure I am posting this answer correctly)
  8. With all the news releases lately regarding the dropping of the 3 zeros with Iraq's currency, VP Biden and Hillarious Clinton speaking openly and proudly about Iraq's fledgling demorcracy and economical progess, and now the latest news release that the deletion of the 3 zeros is in parliament waiting for THE vote, it's amazing that people aren't running out to buy dinar, or even to a lesser degree, TALKING about it! What would it take for the average person to see the wonderful potential, the life-changing potential that the Iraqi Dinar presents us? Perhaps some of you might relate to this, as I have shared my belief in this investment (citing credible sources and news releases) with close friends and relatives, 99% of them look at me, smile, and I know, secretly, think I'm a naive nut!! So, again what would it take for them to seriously consider this opportunity? I have read that the RV is not information that governments would want getting 'out there', due to the extreme ramifications economically and financially, but it looks like they have nothing to worry about - NO ONE believes it anyway! (except me and you) :~)
  9. I read this post on the original site and at that point, it was the final straw, and I boycotted that site from my iphone. I'm sure no one cares that I did that, but my intuition has been on red alert for awhile now regarding Roger's agenda and motivation for his site. I am sure there are good intentions there, but perhaps now he is using the excuse of 'keeping us grounded' for other agendas. It is true money and power corrupts. My goal in my Iraqi investment is to learn as much as I can on the process and progress of this journey, and lean on and learn from fellow investors that have a better grasp on interpreting the numerous articles out there. Not to read YET ANOTHER negative narrative with no facts or specifics to back it up. Hubris is a great word, Roger, look it up.
  10. I have been in this investment for almost a year now and I have read most of the posts and so appreciate how kind and patient some of our fellow investors are with the 'new kids on the block'. In regard to the potential value adjustment of the iraqi dinar, incredible strides have been made in Iraq. There are so many things that have been done by the GOI and the CBI to implement this change in the past year. If we step back and really look at how far Iraq has come, we can take a deep breath and know . . . something GOOD will come out of this, and I believe it will have to happen relatively soon. So . . . in spite of raising the debt ceiling, the DOW is down 1,000 points in 2 weeks and according to the economists and CNN and FOX news, and there is 'total fear' internationally, AND a chance of a double dip recession, along with talk of a global recession. It's not just the US in jeopardy, this a widespread panic, so wouldn't this be a really good time to do this? I know everything has to be in place and logistics behind a RV must be incredible, but if the US and the 'big dogs' are really orchrestrating the economic strings, and the RV will cause a major positive shift in the world monetary system, how can this mess, panic, and potential disaster be happening?
  11. I agree with EasyRider. I often wondered why I continued to be compelled to read all the predictions, rates, dates, etc from all my "favorite gurus" (as you all call them) and even though I most often got irritated with the intel with no link/factual back-up I kinda felt . . . a little uplifted. It simply boils down to HOPE. It we don't have that we don't have anything. This is my first post and I'm not sure it will even show up but here goes . . .
