All those "Global Warming" alarmists are going to have to rethink their so-called 'facts' about global warming; this winter is going to make it very difficult for anyone with any common sense to even consider giving credence to what they have been proclaiming for the last 25 years. I have always followed the theory that the earth goes through 40 year cycles. The last time we had really bad winters was in the late 70's and early 80's. Get ready for the next 10 years because things are only going to get colder. The "Global Warming" alarmists should take a break for the next 20 years; then they can start their montra once again for the next generation of gullible believers before the cycle repeats itself once again. There are Atheist, and there are Agnostics. If someone denies the existence of God, without truly seeking his face, they are only denying what is evident all around us. God will reveal himself to you, if you are sincerely seeking Him. Atheist often say that people who believe in God can't prove God's existence and only trust in a "false" faith; I say people who do not believe in God must have a false faith even greater because they cannot truly explain their existence on this floating rock, orbiting a sun, in a galaxy, in a universe that is beyond comprehension. They believe in the "lie" that somehow over billions of years that step after step they have evolved from some other life form (amoeba -> fish -> 4-legged creature -> monkey -> Man) to where we are today. I say believing this alone would require far greater faith then just realizing the "truth" that all of this did not just happen by accident. Indy

DS, I read your posts and always seem to come to the same conclusion; if you were looking "truth" squarely in the face, it would slap you and you would still deny it ever happened. I only hope and pray that God will open your eyes, and the eyes of all those people who seem to be blinded by their own ideology or world-view. You are one of those? If you had even a basic understanding of the US Constitution, you would realize how ignorant your statement is. To clear things up, let me put it this way. All powers enumerated in the Constitution are the only powers granted to the Federal Government; all remaining powers default to the states. Please show me where in the Constitution power is explicitly granted to the Fed to take over the healthcare system in the US. Although I am totally against each state doing the same, I understand that my argument against doing so would only be based in my personal and political bias; in other words, each state has the authority to screw each state's healthcare system however they feel so inclined to do so. When Big GOV decides to take over the entire health care system and make the claims that they know best for every man, woman and child, resist with all your might. The problem with Liberal ideology is that it always seems to ignore the Constitution. For example, your question about what authority the GOV should have, I will clarify my response by defining what authority the Fed GOV should be "limited" to have. The main purpose of the Constitution is to specifically enumerate the rights of the citizens (because our founders believed that our rights came from God, not from the GOV), and to list the authority and boundaries of the Fed GOV. All other items default to the states. If we follow the definition of the Constitution on a strict interpretation, Health Care would not fall under the responsibility of the Fed, but would fall under the states. This is why Romney Care should be allowed (although I think the law is inherently flawed) and Obama Care is unconstitutional. The problem is that today, most low-information voters don't give a rat's @r$$ about the Constitution and how it should be interpreted. Instead, people are living in their Utopian parallel universe thinking only about themselves and not the Country. Indy

Your ignorance of how the world works is blatantly obvious in this post. Capitalism (or "greed", as you have described it) is based upon basic supply and demand economics. If your business expenses are going up (due to Obamacare) then you must find ways to cut in other areas. It just so happens that many of the regulations being put in place that were intended to help the "common" worker are becoming the justification for cutting workers hours (working 30hrs or less per week reclassifies workers into non-fulltime status), or cutting the number of full-time workers (less than 50 total full-time workers classifies your business in a different category that exempts you from the regulations). Liberals have an interesting mindset whereby they only look at the "effort" and never the outcome. All of the reasons for opposing this amazingly ridiculous and irrational law were ignored and are now coming to fruition for all to see. But that doesn't matter to Liberals because it was the intent of the law that matters, in their minds. Well for once in your cloudy and perverted minds, look at the outcomes and say that everything is still all right. Indy

I am constantly amazed at the people on this site (and in general, the news media) who give this administration and Big GOV a pass on these ineptitudes and blatant violations of law. If any Exec of any Big business was caught in even a fraction of the same violations, they would be handcuffed and paraded through the streets as an example and representation of the basic "evil" and "injustice" of allowing capitalist to thrive in our economic system. First off let me say that guns do not kill people, people kill people; they just tend to use guns to do so. Although all these mass murders (using guns) occurred under Obummer's watch, I do not hold him responsible. I do feel, however, that the Left use every mass murder incident as a platform to push gun-control legislation when the people are most emotional after these incidents. Thank goodness the ploys to sway public opinion are not working, and in some cases has resolved peoples' opinions that more gun-control legislation will not fix the problems we have in society today. What you are not considering is the time factor. Many military analyst have stated that the time to support the revolution against Assad was around 2 years ago; at this time it was mainly the Freedom Fighters who were fighting Assad. Now nearly two years later Al Qaeda is the primary force within the Revolutionary movement. Isn't it interesting that Obummer could have stepped in 2yrs ago and supported the Freedom Fighters but instead has waited until now after nearly 100,000 are dead and Al Qaeda is the primary force within the Assad revolution? There is another peaceful, and yet constitutional way. With Article V of the constitution, the States have the right to pass constitutional amendments. Mark Levin (Landmark Legal Foundation) has proposed several amendments to reel in the power grabs by the Federal GOV. Just one more little tid-bit to back up my argument that the Left-wing media could care less about Benghazi. If you look at the amount of time dedicated to the birth of the Royal Baby vs the amount of time dedicated to the Benghazi story over the last 4 months, the baby wins. I find it amazing how the Left continues to look the other way, even when stories like this lead credence to the argument that this was a cover up. The question is what? Remember that when this story broke, the punch line from Secretary Rice, Hillarious, Obummer, and many others was that this was the result of a spontaneous uprising over an anti Muslim video. They lied to us then and they are lying to us now. Now we are learning that there may have been many more Americans involved in this event from the CIA, but for some reason the CIA, the State Dept, the FBI, and the WH did not and to this day does not want this information coming out. One of the sources stated that all those involved with this incident are getting regular polygraph tests when historically the agency only does these tests once every several years. We have a cover up happening right in front of us (so much for the most transparent GOV in history) and the Left-wing media is just standing idly by.
