My opinion is that they will do a LOP and RV to around $5.00 to $10.00 Their smallest bill would be equal to our $5 or $10. and 1 fil will be worth a nickle or a dime. The problem is the huge number of Dinar in circulation and held by investors.. A LOP would get rid of the necessity of using the USD.

They could RV at rate of 1 or 2 cents per Dinar. For $10,000 - $20.000 per 1 million a lot of Dinars would be cashed in and reduce the numbers in circulation.

I read these chats of Frank's and feel I do get some good info, but the predicted rates are always too unrealistic and make me feel I should not even read it. Thanks for posting. I am hoping for a RV @ 1:1 or better.

This was a great post Drox and several good threads and thoughts came from it. I'm pretty sure most would admit that during this investment (if you have been in it as long as I have been) our hopes have soared like an eagle and fallen like a brick many times. I am convinced that most of the Central Banks are controlled by a group of people with key players placed in them that do what is best to achieve their goals. I think my investment will pay off but I don't know when or how. IMO Dr. Shabs is the key player in Iraq and will do things according to the grand plan. The plan "B" you presented may very well fit into this grand plan. Call me a conspiracy loon if you want but I have read a great deal along these lines and am convinced. I just grabed on to their coat tails and want to benifit from their profits.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with that statement. He said on a news program that was posted on DV when ask if GOI had to be complete before RV he said no. Many on here have said they think that is holding up a RV but Shabs said no. I'm not going to try and find the link but it was about a month ago.

This is exciting news but I'm not so sure it is good news for Forex to have moved into Iraq. It seems to me it would signal a departure from the fixed rate and toward a floating rate in the near future in which the dinar;s value will increase with up's and down;s in the world market. If I'm anywhere close to being right we will gain on our investment but not a sudden and overnight RV.

I agree this has happened before and maybe we are reading into it what we want but it makes me think that something is going on. I also remember reading more than once that they would need a few days of no auctions before a RV. We have other news being posted about audits going on which will be needed for a RV. Interesting post that most of us have at least thought about. Seven years ago I decided to go to Kuwait and drive a truck moving supplies in that country. I signed a contract to that effect. After my arrival I was told they didn't need me there and I was to go to the most hostile part of Iraq. No way was I going to go up there for any amount of money. So there I was on the bus on my way to the airport in Kuwait City thinking I had just wasted more than a month of my life and was wondering why. There was another American on the bus who had spent a year over there and was returning home. He and the bus driver began talking about the new Iraq currency that had just been introduced. He was showing the watermarks and features of the bills. I was listening and later talked to the American at the airport. This was the first time that I heard about a possible RV that could increase in value. I got his phone number and a few weeks later I had a neat stack of new bills. Without getting too religious on you, I think God directed this event. Fate, destiny, luck, Divine guidance, whatever you want to call it, most of us got here in a unique way. Thanks for the post and helping me look back to that chance meeting on the bus. In seven years there has never been an another time that the subject has ever come up. Hummmm

Thanks for the informative post. Also thanks to all who had different views and the civil manner everyone used in their expressions. There is a lot here to think about. It has been an interesting 7 years and whatever comes, most agree something is very close. I think I feel like most here on this forum. Let them do whatever they are going to do and we hope for the best. I got into this thinking I was going to make a lot of money. I still hope for this. I may be disappointed but it will not be the end of my life.
