President Obama Gets Schoolhouse Rocked on SNL Over His Illegal Immigration Orders

Capitol Hill Cold Open - Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live ratcheted up the laughs against President Obama for his unprecedented amnesty orders using the throwback song from Schoolhouse Rock, “I’m Just A Bill.”

It starts out with the familiar boy climbing the steps of Capitol Hill and asking what kind of bill is on the Hill with him. The bill responds with a jingle that he is an “immigration bill” and that he hopes he can be passed into law someday.

Cue the President shoving the bill down the stairs before inviting his buddy, the cigarette smoking “executive order,” into the picture.

The boy exclaims in bewilderment that what the President is doing is unconstitutional, but the executive order just laughs at the boy’s belief that he still thinks that is how government works.

It seems this skit would even funnier if it weren’t so true of the political process today. But it does pack a punch in terms of just how far from the constitutional framework that this nation has strayed, and how America is losing its way due in large part to its lawless leadership.

I think a better ending to this skit would have been the American people shoving president Ohole down those stairs and kicking him to the curb!

I believe that when/if it's legally acknowledged that he is not legally the President, all his Orders will be consequently revoked. He is not legally the President - there's no point in arguing about it, just learn the facts. He is an usurper. I'm putting my hopes into the Judicial Branch actually serving their country and their purpose.

That was so funny...but wait this is no laughing matter.   People get mad and let your representatives know, that their constituents will not stand for any more.

I love SNL's political skits.  They are spot on every time......especially liked the Sarah Palin stuff.

Abuse of power , , , never been made clearer than that skit. LOL.  I expect that there will be a censure for SNL from the WH.  

 

Let's rethink that . . . No, I doubt if it the WH will say anything about it.  The Obama "Protectors" will make sure that there is a "positive" spin placed on the skit and Obama will think that this is great!
