The Governor of Baghdad, Salah Abdul Razzaq, on Thursday, that his guards detained four Americans armed men, including two women, on suspicion of them for roaming in the popular area of Baghdad without coordination with local authorities. The governor said in a telephone conversation with agency French press, that «the four Americans, including two women were arrested when they were walking around in civilian model car (BMW) do not carry a gray figures in the diplomatic district Ahalchip (north) on suspicion of them». I don't. But I've read alot of articles about them being used in Baghdad and surrounding areas. It's just that they are usually described by witnesses when a political figure has been attacked.

Yeah, be a little leary of what you read. There was a security detachment detained at the police station and searched that are from the site I am located. They were released after a few hours, some shooting in the air, no silencers involved though. Silencers are used mostly by assassins and SF units not diplomatic security details.

Are you saying that you were there and they just added that part into the article? It just stuck out to me. I can understand bulletproof vests and as many guns and ammo as will fit in the car, but silencers...

These "Americans" could be anybody from some international gang importing heroin and hasish from iraq, to mercenaries about to do a hit...ahhh the possibilities are endless
