I just looked at my calendar, and it says that it's NOVEMBER. If there isn't a big, as in substantial, increase in October's inflation number, then this will cease to be a governing factor in a 2011 RV. If it's only up to 8%, he could let it ride through the end of the year and not hit 10%. Granted, he must act BEFORE it reaches ten, so maybe if it's over 8.5%, he'll get spooked and do the deed. The chalkboard gets erased January 1st - back to zero.

Also of note, it was mentioned in the article that the CBI monitors the inflation rate. I believe that it is produced by the Ministry of Finance. I don't know if I really trust them, as they may be influenced by, let's say, another entity.
