Herman Cain lead a Q&A session at the Douglas County Tea Party

when a young woman asked him about the attack by the Left on our

Judeo-Christian heritage in America...He addressed her question,

then went to the last question of the night, and the crowd was not

expecting what happened next...

What a beautiful rendition. And what a great turnout for a tea party meeting. Go Tea Party's.

I just bawled like a baby at that.....from out of nowhere. I guess I am scared for my country and my kids' future. I try not to be but I am, and I pray for guidance on what to do to change things. Some say replace all the incumbants in Congress but look at where a political "newbie" ( O ) has us as a nation. Surely there is someone out there with a proven record and experience and charisma that can lead us (with God's help) out of this quagmire we are up to our as s in. I just hope and pray they start to stand out and up and away from the pack soon. :(

Awesome--I am a 65 year old veteran of the Viet Nam era and proud to be an American and saved by the grace of God--I do not think I have ever heard this second verse. It is amazing, and was sung by someone who understands the meaning and words and has served his country proudly and loves God. Just My Humble Opinion. God bless America. I'm sorry, I still have chill bumps

wow, this was great, so i copied and pasted words for those of us who wish to reread the verses so beautifully sung by this patriot. Thank you!!!

National Anthem

of the

United States of America

Lyrics by Francis Scott Key :

First Verse

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,

What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,

O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air

Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.

Oh, say, does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Second Verse

On the shore, dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep,

Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,

What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,

As it fitfully blows half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,

In full glory reflected now shines in the stream;

'Tis the Star-Spangled Banner, O long may it wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Third Verse

Oh, thus be it ever when free men shall stand

Between their loved homes and the war's desolation!

Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n rescued land

Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation!

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,

And this be our motto, "In God is our trust"

And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
