Darin
Ha! This is good if all re-values were increases... Why? Because the IQD is pegged against foreign currencies. They may have to adjust accordingly so. What factored into so many countries with an increase? Foreign reserves being increased???

Mylinco
All this education with a splash of geography not to mention everything I never knew bout athena but would've never asked. Think I'll get a bag o chips to go with. my tiny contribution to this also from another site; no longer should we use the term"GO RV!!" it has changed because they thought we were jinxing it. We don't want it to go we want it to come, soo ergo the new politically correct term is (drum roll) "COME RV!!!!" Lol apparently it's said kinda like calling your dog.just saying... Anyway now we've heard it pretty much all..soo COME RV!!!!! Edited May 13, 2011 by Mylinco

Snatcher
So can we get a list of the 73 that RVed? Or at minimum a link? The link was given already. You just have to click on it and count them yourself...and check the history of them to see that they have changed. http://treasury.un.org/operationalrates/OperationalRates.aspx

Dalite
I may be wrong, but I believe it is a bi-monthly update that was released on the 13 due to the 15th being on a weekend. Again, nothing solid, just a guess. Also, many of these adjustments may be changes against the dollar, which has been travelling a bit lately... With the interactions between various currencies, and the broadening of economic weaknesses, the UN has the job of trying to nail Jell-O to a tree here. I don't think that twice monthly updates are out of the question.
sandyf
Folks most of these are nominal changes and they do these usually around the 15th or the last day of the month. I wouldn't get to excited about this. This is not an indication of an imminent RV for Iraq. Stay grounded and keep watching. Go RV. Totally agree. The VND devalued on Feb 11th but did not show on there until 1st Mar. http://www.vietfinancenews.com/2011/02/vietnam-devalues-dong-again-in-step-to_11.html

Seems that this is not 73 countries RVing more like the operational chart for adjustments. Thanks anyway however.
