What does Shabibi's "Very Soon" Statement mean to you?

Shabibi said "very soon" to the Redenomination process. What does "very soon" mean to you guys? To me it means June. Very soon to Iraq takes a couple months. What's your opinion?

I have been in this for about a year now and I have heard "soon" about a gazillion times! lol So soon could mean just about anything!

Well, they sent the plan for removing three zeros to parliment for a vote. So I would say what he meant by soon is.......... yeah I think he was mistaken when he said soon.

means to me last march, last week of 2010---and for those ones spectulating for the last 7 years more gray hair---it will happen when it happens and be thankful that it happens at all----just calm down it is going to be "very soon" LOL but it will happen!

Soon & If are 2 small words that have a very large meaning, for example

Soon there will be a change in the government policies!!

By the time it goes to parliament or in most folks cases on DV (congress) then voting, law passed, clarification, then finally put in to place we are talking 2 years ish.

Again for example “If”

Don’t think to far ahead in the Shabs soon statement, soon is a far greater time scale than next month or In 6 months time, soon can mean many many years in the political world

I don't understand why people are over analyzing this. Lets take a step back and look at it in context. He was doing a question and answer at a U.S. Chamber of Commerce session in Washington. Obviously, he wants to cull favor with these people at the C. O. C. Obviously, he wants the word out to American businesses that Iraq will be a good move and good investment if and when the 'doors open' in the future. We all know that Iraq is interested in being a world player in the international trade sector, so this is just example of many toward that end. It's common sense.
