No not old news but from today the 2nd of November...the 10th month.

This is GREAT news!

The IMF is asking Iraq to promote the value of the Iraqi Dinar!

Promote the value = revalue.

To be honest, I don't keep track of mileage. It was supposed to improve it or at least not get worse. I guess it depends on throttle control. lol

And mine is not good out here in the corn fields of Ohio. Hope the dinar hits so I can move back to Washington.

Nothing real big here......just talking about implementing tax changes for the govt to make more money to run itself......the part about "promoting the dinar" is just a random line thrown in there but it does not speak about that at all in the article......not going to get excited over taxes :lol:

MANDATE definition...A command or authorization to act in a particular way on a public issue given by the electorate to its representative: example...

The president had a clear mandate to end the war.

Mandate??? What mandate? The election? How can you end a mandate without any Parliament or elected official in place to vote on ending a mandate? Unless...it is the election itself or something the Ministry of Finance had the authority to end.

A member of the team negotiating with the Iraqi International Monetary Fund, Fadel Mohammed Al-Sarraj told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) announced today that "the International Monetary Fund request from the Iraqi government formally Dharrop restructuring the tax system in the country in proportion to Iraq's dealings Finance with the International Monetary Fund" .

Folks... I think the IMF is recognizing the political process is or has come to an agreement. They need the Parliament in place to approve the 2011 budget. They are making sure that Iraq is ready to work on the service projects and is committed to the security for the citizens and the region. They want the tax reforms in place to support future budgets and the upcoming economic shift. They are assuring the member countries in the IMF that Iraq is good for the loan and that projected oil revenues will pay for the loan.

The IMF is setting the table here in preparation to serve. Plates, silverware, cups. All the years of planning a party, sending invites, getting the pots and pans, building a table, shopping for food. We are at centerpiece placement. They are signaling to Shabs to bring out some food aka... increase the value of the IQD in relation to both foreign currency and Arabic regional currency. IMO of course. They didn't say lop it and get it comparable! They said increase the value!!! What's up my brotha's and sisters! :lol:

I agree thi is huge news for us all and you explained it well. They like the world bank have laid the NEEDS OF THERE COUNTRY to be marketable on the world market so they are Bankable to rebuild their countries infrastructure. A member of the team negotiating with the Iraqi International Monetary Fund, Fadel Mohammed Al-Sarraj told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) announced today that "the International Monetary Fund request from the Iraqi government formally Dharrop restructuring the tax system in the country in proportion to Iraq's dealings Finance with the International Monetary Fund" .

He pointed out that "the International Monetary Fund has criticized the report handed to the Iraqi negotiating the distribution of the budgets of previous years which focused on the financing of security mechanisms is studied."

He explained that the OS "The team was able to convince the Iraqi negotiator member states in the International Monetary Fund that Iraq would abide by the payment of loans through the sale of crude oil during the coming years."

Sounds like the IMF is starting to use their leverage on that stubborn mule known as Iraq to start pulling the RV wagon.....
