REMEMBER, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq... So, take everything with a grain of salt ...  RON 

 

 

Jeff  There's many disagreements with the budget, possibly causing it to be overturned via a court appeal... The actions of what was done with the budget was against what they were allowed to do so the legal system might be overturning the budget's approval...The House of Representatives... went beyond what they're allowed to do. The fact that they approved the budget unlawfully might be getting overturned. The budget might get squashed...

 

Nader From The Mid East  The UN agreement, 2003 when they invaded the country, now they said the last day is next year 2025. They've been talking about the end of the war and this is one of them. That is very good news. We talk about sovereignty, that's one of them.  It's good for Iraq.  It's going to make Iraq stronger and happier. Sudani, what he's talking about the coalition gonna leave in 2025 - it's official.

 

MarkZ ...there is contention as to whether the president has signed it [the budget] yet or not... And attempts by Maliki to delay things. Don’t panic- they are not allowing a delay and will push forward with the printing of the budget… and execution. Maybe we will see the printed budget by Saturday now... I’m still hearing positive things for the 7th through the 9th.

I think brother Jeff is wrong about the budget!  It would not be going into the Gazette if it wasn't all done.  At least they are moving forward, one step at a time ... in slow motion.

ask me this if they voted and passed a three year general budget a year ago then explain what these schedules are? why were they not approved a year ago?? why the wait?

I think you are right.  A law suit would have been filed as soon as it was passed not after it was sent to the gazette.  It’s all Maliki trying to stop this.
