Parliamentary Investment confirms that projects are affected by the currency difference

Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Investment Committee confirmed that investment projects are affected by the currency difference.

 

Committee member, Asaad Al-Bazouni, said in a press statement, followed by NRT Arabia, that “the difference in the financial price between the parallel and the official led to problems in the issue of exchange, transfer, and receiving funds at investment companies.”

 

Al-Bazuni said, "It also led to many investors and companies suffering from the difference in currency between the dollar and the Iraqi dinar."

 

Al-Bazuni explained, “The economic situation in general requires this, and one of the government’s most important steps is to preserve the dollar, provided that it does not come out through illegal matters.”

 

He stressed the importance of conforming to that policy because the primary goal is the public good and the economic situation.
