A government bank directs the reception of loan transactions and clarifies the release of advances

Shafaq News/ On Sunday, the Governmental Rasheed Bank instructed its branches to receive loan transactions for all sectors, after launching the credit plan for the year 2023.

In a statement received by Shafaq News agency, the bank called on "citizens wishing to obtain banking services to review the bank's branches in Baghdad and the governorates to submit their requests and promote the transaction."

 

 

 

He explained that "electronic advances will be launched later."

And the Rasheed Bank announced, on Thursday (1/12/2022), the suspension of granting credit of all kinds (advances and loans).

He explained, "The suspension decision came for the purposes of the annual application, provided that work resumes at the beginning of next year."

{Economic: Al Furat News} Rasheed Bank announced today, Wednesday, an increase in the ceiling of housing loans for (construction and building addition) purposes to (60) million dinars.

 

And the bank's media stated in a statement, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, that: "The loan ceiling increase is granted to Rasheed Bank card holders without a guarantor, and to citizens with a domicile guarantor on the bank."
He demanded those wishing to "promote their transactions and review the bank's branches in Baghdad and the provinces."

First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi called, during his presidency, yesterday, Tuesday, of an expanded meeting of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, in the presence of the Director of the Rafidain Bank (Ali Karim) and the Director of the Agricultural Bank (Nabil Qais), to monitor the work of the dollar sales outlets inside the banks and to facilitate the procedures for loans to citizens, farmers and industrialists. in the country.

Al-Mandalawi directed, in a statement to his office, to "expedite the preparation of laws related to the committee's tasks, while many files related to the government banking sector were discussed, including ending the file of external compensation claims and starting the electronic banking system that will reduce embezzlement crimes and speed up banking procedures." 

Al-Mandlawi referred to "the importance of reviewing the work mechanisms of governmental and private banks, indicating the necessity of continuing coordination with the Finance Committee in order to know the needs of its advancement and development of its work." 

And he stressed "accelerating the introduction of the electronic system in a way that limits breaches, organizing and accelerating the provision of banking services, stressing monitoring and protecting dollar sales outlets, and supporting banking facilities for citizens and some other segments, especially industrialists and farmers."

, the Parliamentary Finance Committee discussed, today, Tuesday, with the Al-Rashid and Al-Aqari Banks, the mechanism for the settlement of salaries.

A statement by the House of Representatives Media Department, a copy of which Mawazine News received, stated that the Finance Committee, headed by Representative Atwan Al-Atwani and in the presence of its members, hosted today, Tuesday, the Director General of Al-Rasheed Bank, Basem Abd Ali, and the Director General of the Real Estate Bank, Abbas Shihab, to discuss the development of the banking system in Iraq, and to facilitate Loan granting operations.”

According to the statement, “the committee began, during the hosting, to clarify the procedures followed by banks and initiatives to grant housing loans and support small projects, as well as the number and size of loans disbursed, in addition to the volume of indebtedness and contribution to the budget, in addition to the mechanism for the settlement of salaries.” Expressing its willingness to provide assistance in developing and bringing about a quantum leap in the field of automation and the development of the banking system, and ideas that contribute to improving performance.

The committee requested, "to provide it with the procedures taken by banks and the investments pertaining to them, with an official letter to view them, based on the internal system of the House of Representatives and to take its oversight role."

For his part, the Director General of Al-Rasheed Bank reviewed the bank's tasks and the bank's initiative to exchange dinars for dollars for travelers at the official subsidized rate, as well as the types of loans granted to support investment and commercial projects to contribute to providing the citizens' needs.
